Objective of this study is to understand the relationship between students’ perception on criminal news in television and their worry because of watching criminal news in television. It was about 60 university students from a boarding house participated in this study. The independent variable is student's perception on criminal news in television, whilst the dependent variable is student's worry because of watching criminal news in television. The ru of the Perception Scale was ranged .36-75, whilst the r„ for the Worry Scale was about .336-764. The hypothesis analysis using the product moment correlation revealed that there was a significant relationship between students perception on criminal news in television and students worry because of watching criminal news in television (r„ ■ .430, p <.01). Contribution of the perception variable on influencing worry variable was only 18.5%. Several recommendations for future research and explanation on other influencing variables outside of these research variables were discussed.

Objective of this study is to understand the difference of emotional sensitivity on girls with menstruation and girls without menstruation. It was about 70 high school students participated in this research. Using the corrcalational t-test statistic analysis (t = 5.234, p< .000), it was rcvelaed that those girls significantly felt higher emotional sensitivity when they were in menstruation periodic (M - 72.05) compare to the situation without menstruation (M = 67.15). The hypothesis was confirmed. The menstruation variable only predicted 28.73% of of the emotional sensitivity. This finding was almost similar with research in Taiwan. For the future research, the lacking of menstruation should be broken down between before and after menstruation. It was because girls on those two menstruation situation felt different emotional sensitivity.

Many researches revealed that picture method was useful to increase children’s ability to recognize concrete objects. In order to bridge children's difficulty in learning English as a foreign language, this research was aimed to increase children’s recognize on some new English words. Learning English based on conventional method (using many words only) was compared experimentally with picture method. Seventy students grade sixth from 4 elementary schools participated in this study. Design of this experimental study was the pretest - post test. The intervention was conducted once during 75 minutes i.e. 50 minutes for exercising English words using pictures (for the picture group) and words (for the word group); 10 minutes for conducting a quiz; and 15 minutes for verifying the exam questions. It was hypothesized that the picture method was much better to increase children’s ability to recognize some new English words than the conventional method. This research revealed that children’s ability on the picture method class increased 2.5 times from the pre test compared to children in word method class (increased only 1.7 times from the pre test) and children in the control group (increased only 1.06 times from the pre test and non significant). It was recommended that teacher should use pictures to help children to understand English new vocabularies. This recommendation could also be enlarged with comic and animated film usages.

Six Javanese women participated on this qualitative study in order to understand their obstacles to engage on a job outside of their homes. They had college to university educational level, middle to high class, engaged on a job before married. After married till recently they were unemployed although they had trivial fertility problems. There were various reasons for their unemployed status such as husband had not given any permission to work, husband's jealous, wife’s primary responsibility was to accomplish the unending domestic casks not to work, providing a good service for husband and children, and wife’s low self-efficacy Indeed, this unemployment was heartbreaking since wife’s high potentiality could not be manifested because of husband's sex typed attitude. Unfortunately this powerless self-perception was also agreed by those wives. Those wives were more likely to be lazy or could not think visionary to train their skills, because their family economy situation had not demanded them to work. Those high class wives should learn more from the lower class Javanese wives who had been able to be more egalitarian toward their husbands. It was because they had to work, otherwise their children would be starved. Those rich wives should feel embarrassment that their high educational level had been related to the sex-typed attitude and more subordinate position.
