Abstract

Banjarsari Village is one of the villages that has implemented a village website as a form of digitalization. Digitalization was carried out because the implementation of the village website in Banjarsari Village was still not running optimally. It is hoped that this effort will continue to develop to encourage the realization of a digital village in Banjarsari Village. The aim of this activity is to describe the efforts made by the Banjarsari Village government to overcome data that is not well managed in order to improve the quality of effective and efficient public services. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The observation results show that there is a revitalization of public services in Banjarsari Village by re-implementing the village website in its services. The success of implementing a village website in Banjarsari Village is reviewed through 10 factors, namely information, technology, processes, values and goals, human resources, financial resources and time, institutions and structures, regulations, leadership and commitment, and support from the community. This factor supports efforts to maximize the quality of effective and efficient public services, as well as pushing Banjarsari Village towards a digital village. Of these ten factors, processes, regulations, values and goals, as well as leadership and commitment are factors that strengthen the implementation of village websites as supporters of digitalization-based public services. Six other factors still require development in implementation. This is a recommendation for the village government and a theme for further service activities.

Abstract

The weaving group in Oenaem Village produces woven cloth that is naturally dyed but is less popular due to its low fastness characteristics. Oenaem Village has a source of tannin, namely tamarind seeds, which are abundant in the dry season and have the potential to be used as an alternative to alum and tunjung mordant, but due to limited knowledge and skills, the tamarind seeds are discarded as waste. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to carry out outreach and training activities to introduce weaving groups to tamarind seed shell tannin as an alternative to alum and tunjung mordant. Community service activities are carried out to equip the community with knowledge and skills in extracting tamarind seed shell tannins into biomordant, and applying them in dyeing woven fabrics under the right mordanting conditions and using the correct yarn mass:mordant ratio formulation. Activities begin with coordination with partners, preparation of tools and materials, followed by socialization through presentations and joint discussions, as well as training activities. The training includes tannin biomordant extraction techniques from tamarind seed shells, and the application of tannin biomordant in natural weaving dyeing. The evaluation results show an increase in partners' knowledge and skills in producing tannin from tamarind seed shell waste and applying it as a biomordant in dyeing woven threads. The products obtained from the activity were ± 2 kg of biomordant and 4 pieces of woven fabric that had been mordanted and colored with curcumin.

Abstract

Packaging is the main factor that can increase consumer appeal. Food product packaging is not only a marketing tool to attract buyers' attention, but also to maintain and protect the safety of food products from the danger of contamination. PT ABC's product packaging design still does not attract the attention of buyers, making the product unable to compete with other products on the market. This problem can be overcome by providing outreach to human resources (HR) employees about the importance of packaging and design. In addition, plans for changes to the product packaging design and plans for improving the primary packaging are provided to ensure product safety. The result of this activity is that PT ABC's human resources employees know the importance of packaging and design for products, especially for black tea bags, and get ideas for improving packaging design and primary packaging that can be used on products.

Abstract

Sore muscles and joints, especially the lower back, may be caused by unergonomic working postures. This includes standing for long periods of time. As a result of these complaints, the functional capacity of the lower back will decrease, resulting in a decrease in the productivity of workers, including workers in barbershops. The aim of this activity is to identify the ergonomics of barbershops and the incidence of low back pain. The Nordic Body Map questionnaire is used as an identification tool. The activity partners are 15 barbershop employees in the Rungkut area of Surabaya. Data was obtained that these workers worked with an awkward posture for 4 hours. The findings were that the buttocks had the highest proportion of respondents rated "Not Painful" (40%), and the right hand was rated "Somewhat Painful" (66.7%). Respondents stated that the most severe pain was experienced in the right wrist (47%), and lower back (53%). From these findings it is known that barbershop workers do not have knowledge about the ergonomics of working positions, and have the potential to experience lower back pain. These findings can be used as a basis for follow-up community service activities to socialize aspects of ergonomics and physiotherapy.

Abstract

This community service program seeks to solve the problem of limited skills of students at Darul Faqih Indonesia Middle School in creating a green environment in the school area. The solution offered is improving the skills of students and the role of Musrifah as household managers of Islamic boarding schools through training in the application of aquaponic technology and its arrangement in the classroom environment. The method of implementing the activities is in the form of training, mentoring, and direct practice of aquaponic technology which combines cultivating plants and catfish in buckets, as well as maintaining them until harvesting. The results of the implementation of the activity showed that there was an increase in the skills of santri and Musrifah in applying hydroponic vegetable cultivation technology, ornamental plants and aquaponic fish. Some of the aquaponic technology learning practices that students are able to develop are techniques for cultivating vegetable seeds in rockwool media, planting and maintaining vegetable seeds and ornamental plants, placing indoor installations, and aquaponic catfish cultivation technology. Placing aquaponic installations of ornamental plants and catfish in rooms with limited lighting conditions is a solution in creating a green environment in areas within the school. Meanwhile, the placement of hydroponic installations for vegetable plants and catfish in semi-outdoor areas provides a green environment in the school terrace area. It is hoped that the green environment built in the cottage environment can support a beautiful, comfortable, beautiful and sustainable teaching and learning environment.
