Abstract

Villages are the main focus of state development, with managing village funds becoming a crucial issue. Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages sets the state's goal to protect and empower villages to become firm, advanced, independent, and democratic. An Independent Village is a developed village that can lead development by paying attention to economic and ecological resilience. Good village financial management and village independence are crucial to improving the community's economy. Villages' main challenges involve managing complex data, limited resources, and changing organizational culture. The use of technology, efficient public financial management systems, training, and participation of civil society organizations are proposed as solutions to overcome these challenges. The Kesatuan Business and Informatics Institute is collaborating with the local government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, to increase insight regarding public financial management and develop village potential. The IBIK PkM team provides solutions in the form of (1) assistance regarding accountable public financial management, and (2) socialization of the Systematic & Integrated Village (DE Siti) application. Partners were invited to conduct a field visit to The Thematic Perca Village and organic waste management (Siliwangi Waste Bank Unit).

Abstract

PKKM Bina Desa is a community service activity carried out by student groups with the aim of solving problems in an area to achieve equitable development. One of the student groups at the East Java "Veteran" National Development University carried out PKKM Village Development activities to assist the "Roti Nova" MSMEs located in the Gunung Anyar sub-district area, Surabaya City. Digital marketing is still minimally delivered and implemented by MSMEs in Gunung Anyar Village. The promotion and sales sector are one of the sectors that relies on digital information technology, including sales via the GoBiz platform. So far, Roti Nova UMKM has carried out marketing using conventional methods and participated in several activities such as offline bazaars and events organized by Gunung Anyar Village, so its marketing is still not extensive. With increasingly rapid technological developments, conventional marketing is considered less than optimal. Registration with GoBiz is intended to facilitate MSME players in digital marketing, as a step to develop their business by achieving better product marketing results. The method of implementing the activities used was by conducting interviews, observing, and assisting the owners of Roti Nova MSMEs. The results of this activity include increasing knowledge about digital marketing and expanding market reach which has an impact on increasing the income of Roti Nova MSMEs. With this activity, it is hoped that Gunung Anyar Village can provide further learning related to digital marketing to its community, especially to MSMEs.

Abstract

Tourism based on the natural potential attraction is increasingly popular, especially for urban residents. This is based on a perceptive need for natural nuances which are believed to provide body refreshment through clean air. Agrotourism is one of this tourism type icons. Agrotourism adds its appeal to the attraction of expanses of plants (flowers, herbs and fruit) which are at various stages of growth and the activity of picking fruit directly from the trees. Although agrotourism also has several other common problems with natural tourism, this tourist attraction offers affordability for all groups. The fans have a wide spectrum, they don't know the season, and visitors always come even during the pandemic. This represents great potential for development efforts. Referring to the aim of agrotourism to expand knowledge (educational programs), experience, recreation and marketing of agronomic products, the general development of agrotourism potential is towards the commercialization of recreation and business management. The knowledge aspect (educational program) has not been touched much. Community service activities can be designed to develop agrotourism in the Sidomulyo Batu Malang area into the realm of eduagrotourism, namely tourism based on biology education, in line with the village's target of becoming an Educational Tourism Village. The aim of the activity can be directed at preparing activity partners to be able to display educational tourism attractions - edugrotourism - from nursery activities to marketing plant products, especially targeting children and students. This is in accordance with the latest education policy regarding Independent Learning and thematic curriculum.

Abstract

Teenagers are a group of people who need special attention, both physically and psychologically. Teenagers as the next generation must also be prepared to become a quality generation. To create a quality generation, teenagers can be trained as implementers of stunting prevention. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem and is a condition of malnutrition that is related to nutritional deficiencies in the past. The impact of stunting that endangers the nation's future is the low quality of adolescent health. Stunting prevention can be done in the life cycle at the adolescent stage. Knowledge of adolescent nutrition, especially young women, regarding stunting is very important to prevent stunting. Providing education about stunting should start from adolescence in preparation for entering the preconception period. Therefore, direct involvement of teenagers in preventing stunting should be carried out by the teenagers themselves. Health workers, in this case, play a role in providing education to teenagers who will become future mothers and fathers in the future. Through the education provided, it is hoped that it can increase teenagers' knowledge about stunting, so that when the baby is born, the mother can provide appropriate nutrition to the child, so that the child avoids the problem of stunting.

Abstract

Orphanages play an important role in replacing the role of parents in nurturing, looking after, and providing guidance to children so that they become adults who are valuable and responsible for themselves and society in the future. The goal of the community service was to increase the interest and knowledge of teenagers at the Gelora Indah Mosque Orphanage, North Purwokerto, regarding vertical-culture (verti-culture) cultivation techniques. Verticulture technique was chosen because of the potential for narrow yard land, which can be used as land for agricultural crop production, especially plants that are suitable for vertical cultivation. This activity can be used as a provision for achieving food self-sufficiency at the household level and as a basis for producing agricultural products that can be used as input for entrepreneurship from an early age. The community service was conducted from March to May 2023 with all the teenagers of Gelora Indah Mosque Orphanage. The methods were a pre-test, a transfer of knowledge about verti-culture cultivation techniques, cultivation practices, harvesting, and finally, post-tests for the last evaluation. This activity can increase participants' interest and knowledge about the concept of verti-culture by 83.34%, about the needs for verti-culture installation by 66.67%, and about the benefits of verti-culture by 100%. Activities in the form of transfer of knowledge about post-harvest handling and processing, as well as marketing techniques for processed and fresh agricultural products, are needed to support the long-term benefits of this activity.

Abstract

This article is the result of activities to socialize interest in literacy and numeracy for students at SMP Negeri 2 Bangorejo. The socialization was carried out to solve the problems faced regarding the plan to implement the Independent Curriculum at the junior high school level. The transition or trial transition period causes confusion among schools regarding the activities that must be carried out and examples of activities that support the program, such as literacy and numeracy activities. Discussion and assessment of the Independent Curriculum program was carried out by looking at the Teaching Campus program which had been carried out by students and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. The experience of being a Field Assistant Lecturer in the Teaching Campus program is the basis for activities carried out to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of partner schools’ students. The results obtained from this sociali-zation activity show that the interest in literacy and numeracy of SMP Negeri 2 Bangorejo students looks good and positive. Students are more interested in learning literacy and numeracy through activities that are directly related to daily life.

Abstract

The quota of 1 million free halal certification registration is a great opportunity for the advancement of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in various regions. One area that sees this opportunity is Laweyan Village, Sumberasih District, Probolinggo Regency. The main efforts made by the Laweyan Village government to advance MSMEs are by holding outreach regarding the existence of a free halal certification registration program and providing personnel to help business owners register their businesses. The program was carried out at the Laweyan Village Hall. However, this activity has not been carried out optimally because there are still MSMEs in Laweyan Village who do not receive information so that business owners have not registered their businesses to obtain a halal certificate. The aim of carrying out this service activity is so that business actors in Laweyan Village who still do not have information can receive assistance when registering for a halal certificate. The method used is direct door-to-door assistance in each hamlet to register and assist business owners who wish to obtain a halal certificate. Based on the door-to-door results that have been carried out, there are 16 businesses that have not been registered in the village government archives and 6 food or beverage shop businesses that have not registered for halal certification.

Abstract

Anemia in adolescents is one of the factors that cause stunting, and it has impacted the educational system. It is important for students to be knowledge and skills equipped necessary to overcome the anemia problem independently in order to improve the quality of their education. The various programs that have been launched by the government are still not being implemented optimally because there are still some teachers who do not have the knowledge to develop learning plans that lead to the use of local food to prevent anemia in the Gorontalo Regency. To address this issue, it is necessary to implement innovative learning methods so that students receive education and skills through the processing of local food in order to prevent anemia, which is possible through the study of craft subjects. This assistance is intended to assist in the preparation of lesson plans (RPP) based on local food processing in order to prevent anemia. This activity is directed at Prakarya teachers in 5 Senior High Schools in the Gorontalo Regency. In this case, workshops and mentoring were used as methods. Workshops and mentoring were carried out face to face which focus on developing lesson plans based on discovery learning and project-based learning. The results of this activity are skills in preparing lesson plans based on the use of local food to prevent anemia by Prakarya teachers in Gorontalo Regency. This lesson plans will then be implemented in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
