Abstract

mplementation of Zachman Framework on Online Reservation System at Hotel Claro Makassar is a strategic effort made by the hotel to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. In the competitive environment of the hospitality industry, an integrated online reservation system is an important requirement for modern hotels. This research aims to investigate and analyze the benefits of using Zachman Framework in developing a comprehensive and effective online reservation system at Hotel Claro Makassar. Zachman Framework is used as a structured architecture framework, which helps in designing, implementing, and managing information systems by considering a variety of different perspectives. This research methodology involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, program implementation, and testing using white box and black box methods. The Zachman Framework is used as a guide to identify and understand important elements in an online hotel reservation system, including problem identification, business scope, governance, information model, technology, and system deployment. The result of this research is an online hotel reservation system that can facilitate users in searching, reserving, and canceling rooms online, as well as allowing hotel management to manage reservation data, room availability, and payment transactions efficiently. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of hotel operations and provide a better experience for users in making hotel reservations online.

Abstract

The gaming industry has witnessed rapid growth over the past few decades. Games are no longer perceived solely as entertainment but have evolved into a significant revenue-generating industry. One popular game, Hayday, offers an engaging experience centered on farming and business. To enhance business process management within the game, the concept of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is highly relevant. This paper explores the implementation of enterprise architecture based on the Zachman Framework within the context of Hayday. The Zachman Framework serves as a structured methodology to design and manage enterprise architecture effectively. By leveraging the framework, organizations can map various perspectives into a comprehensive 6x6 matrix, enabling a deeper understanding of their enterprise architecture. This study adopts a case study approach using qualitative methods. The findings and discussion elaborate on the implementation of the Zachman Framework in the Hayday game application across six key perspectives: data, process, location, people, time, and motivation. This implementation aims to optimize business process management in the game and to lay the groundwork for the development of suitable ERP software.

Abstract

Zachman frameworks are frameworks created to get enterprise-wide architectures. Zachman's framework is simple, and logical in nature that can help manage the information infrastructure of an enterprise. Although simple, Zachman frameworks can help align IT and business needs. PT. Bhakti Karya Cemerlang is a business that offers staff outsourcing services. Cleaning services, production operators, secretaries, clerical employees, sales promotion girls, maintenance workers, drivers and receptionists are some of the outsourcing services provided. Until July 2017, PT. Bhakti Karya Cemerlang has a total of 700 employees. Based on the requirements of partner companies, PT. Bhakti Karya Cemerlang places people. Therefore, the number of employees assigned to each partner company is unique. Office for PT. Bhakti Karya Cemerlang can be found in Tangerang and Karawang. This section is supported by a literature review that serves as a support for the research concept. Authors must provide a review of primary and recent literature (references to journal articles and conference proceedings). Research is not limited to theory, but is based on empirical evidence. Abstract

In today’s highly connected and technology-driven environment, digital transformation has become a critical necessity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance their competitiveness and long-term sustainability. One strategic approach to facilitate this transformation is through the design of an enterprise architecture tailored to the specific needs of MSMEs. This study aims to develop a structured and adaptive enterprise architecture model for MSMEs by applying the TOGAF ADM (Architecture Development Method) framework. The methodology consists of several key phases: Preliminary, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. Each phase provides a systematic approach to assess business requirements, align digital strategies with business goals, and build supporting technological infrastructure. The output of this research is a CompanySpecific Blueprint designed to reflect the actual conditions and operational needs of the targeted MSMEs. This blueprint serves as a comprehensive guide for MSMEs to plan, implement, and manage digital transformation initiatives effectively and progressively. By adopting the TOGAF ADM framework, this research contributes to the development of a responsive and sustainable enterprise architecture model, empowering MSMEs to navigate technological changes and improve their organizational performance. The proposed model is expected to support MSMEs in making informed decisions regarding digital investments, process optimization, and integration of digital tools that align with their strategic objectives.

Abstract

An effective and efficient information system in managing regional taxes is the key to increasing transparency, efficiency and service to taxpayers. In this context, this study aims to identify relevant perspectives in local tax management and analyze the appropriate use of technology to develop an effective information system. This study uses the Zachman Framework approach. The results show that the use of technologies such as databases, cloud computing, web-based applications, and system integration has the potential to increase efficiency and transparency in local tax management. However, it must be acknowledged that the implementation of this technology also has challenges such as implementation costs and the need for adequate technical expertise. In terms of development prospects, the use of appropriate information and technology systems can improve efficiency, transparency, and service in local tax management. However, further research and development is needed to overcome the challenges and maximize the potential that exists. This research provides valuable insights about the development of local tax information systems and the appropriate use of technology. The implication is increasing the efficiency of local tax management and better service to taxpayers. Overall, this research makes an important contribution to the development of local tax information systems and the use of technology in a wider context.

Abstract

Zachman Framework is an architectural framework used to analyze and organize the various perspectives involved in a system. In the context of AliExpress's retail services, the application of the Zachman Framework can provide a comprehensive understanding of the system, facilitate coordination between business entities, increase operational efficiency, promote continuous development and innovation, and assist in better risk management. In implementing it on AliExpress, the Zachman Framework helps in understanding the business entities involved, such as suppliers, customers, deliveries, and sellers, and identifying their roles and interactions. Through in-depth analysis, this framework enables AliExpress to better coordinate business activities, increase synergies, and reduce bottlenecks. In addition, the Zachman Framework also allows AliExpress to analyze and understand their operational processes from various perspectives, such as business, technology, and data perspectives. With a better understanding of their systems, AliExpress can identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved, optimize processes and increase productivity.
