Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a broad impact on all sectors of life in Indonesia, including the economic sector. Not a few business sectors are experiencing losses and even bankruptcy. Therefore, business actors must be able to implement and develop certain strategies in order to survive and gain profits both in the midst of the pandemic storm and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to obtain information about the strategies of Herbal and Herbal Medicine business players in Sehat Basamo in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach. Research informants are sellers of herbs and herbal medicine Sehat Basamo as many as 4 people who were selected by purposive sampling. In addition, 4 informants were selected who are loyal customers at the Sehat Basamo outlet. The research was carried out in March-April 2021 at four locations of Sehat Basamo outlets in Samarinda City. The data and information obtained were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study obtained information that all Healthy Basamo herbal and herbal outlets and customers who visited Sehat Basamo outlets complied with the Covid-19 health protocol according to the government's appeal in controlling the spread of the Covid-19 rate. In addition to complying with health protocols, the Herbal and herbal medicine business of Sehat Basamo has also been proven to be able to survive in the midst of a pandemic and even continue to benefit from the sales of its products. The success of the owner of the Healthy Basamo herbal and herbal outlet in maintaining business continuity and still making profits in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic by implementing a strategy that is consistent attitude in product presentation, not increasing product prices, friendliness and courtesy of sellers and ensuring the availability of product supply. Sales of herbal and herbal products from Sehat Basamo are carried out face-to-face with buyers and the financial accounting management is still manual. Therefore, sellers of Herbal and Jamu Sehat Basamo can take advantage of currently available technology and information both to increase product sales results and in managing digital-based business financial accounting (digital accounting) which is available in various application software.

Abstract

The progress of the development of a region is not only the responsibility of the government, but requires active participation from all components of society. Good collaboration between local government and communities is an important factor in achieving this. This research is a descriptive qualitative type to describe the participation of the Bulukumba community in regional development in East Kalimantan. The research sample is the head of the family or resident's representative in a house that is domiciled in East Kalimantan, as many as 60 people who were selected by accidental sampling. Collecting data using online questionnaires in the form of Google form and distributed to respondents via Whatsapp Group social media and analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of frequency tables and graphs with narration. In addition, to deepen the required information, 3 informants were selected. The technique of collecting information through indepth interviews uses interview guides to informants and is then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that most of the people of Bulukumba had participated well in regional development in East Kalimantan. Even so, it was still found that the Bulukumba community did not participate in development due to various factors, including a lack of public understanding of the importance of participatory development. Therefore, it is necessary to have active outreach activities from the local government and all components of society regarding the importance of community participation for the realization of advanced and sustainable regional development.

Abstract

The Makassar State University “alma mater” student cooperative is a cooperative engaged in the cadre field which includes entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship cadres which are expected to be able to direct the mindset of members who are more productive. The size of the cooperative business depends on the cooperative's ability to raise funds, both from their own capital and from loans. Capital has a role in efforts to increase cooperative business, with the cooperative's own capital, it can be used to increase cooperative business with the aim of increasing turnover in cooperatives. Based on preliminary observations of own capital, the student cooperative "alma mater" UNM, has increased as well as sales turnover although the amount of increase in sales turnover is not so large when compared to the previous year. This research aims to determine the effect of own capital on sales turnover in the UNM "alma mater" student cooperative. . This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is data on own capital and sales turnover data for 5 years starting (2012-2016). Data collection methods are interviews and documentation. Methods of data analysis with simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the equity in the UNM "alma mater" student cooperative had no significant effect on sales turnover. However, capital itself has a positive influence or impact in efforts to increase sales turnover in the UNM "alma mater" student cooperative.

Abstract

Potensi Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) perlu dikembangkan agar dapat mendorong perekonomian masyarakat dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat tersebut. Selama ini pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh sebagian besar UMKM di Samarinda salah satunya usaha tenun masih secara konvensional. Produksi kain tenun tidak diimbangi dengan progres penjualan yang bagus, kondisi ini membuat kurangnya omzet yang di dapat. Berdasarkan kondisi dan situasi yang dialami penenun di Kelurahan Tenun Samarinda maka dirasa perlu melakukan kegiatan pengenalan technopreneurship memperluas cakupan pemasaran dan dapat meningkatkan omzet. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan cara melaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat sistem e-commerce berbasis web. Pelatihan dan pendampinan ini bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan omzet penjualan dari para penenun yang ada di Kelurahan Tenun Samarinda. Metode yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan aplikasi e-commerce hingga evaluasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada bulan september 2021. Semua rangkaian kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar serta mendapat respon yang baik oleh para peserta kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ada 5 usaha tenun yang memiliki akun e-commerce yang siap digunakan dengan harapan bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan para penenun. The potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) needs to be developed to encourage the community's economy and increase the welfare of the community. So far, the marketing carried out by most MSMEs in Samarinda, one of which is the weaving business, is still conventional. The production of woven fabrics needs to be balanced with good sales progress, and this condition makes the lack of turnover obtained. Based on the conditions experienced by weavers in Samarinda Weaving Village, it is necessary to carry out technopreneurship introduction activities to expand marketing coverage and can increase turnover. This activity is carried out by training and assistance in creating a web-based e-commerce system. This training and decommissioning aim to increase the sales turnover of the weavers in the Samarinda Weaving Village. The method provides training and assistance in making e-commerce applications for evaluation. The implementation of the activity was in September 2021. All activities went well and smoothly, and we received a good response from the participants. As a result of the activity, five weaving businesses have e-commerce accounts that are ready to be used to improve the welfare of weavers.

Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat Bulukumba yang merantau ke Kalimantan Timur telah tinggal secara menetap. Meskipun telah meninggalkan kampung halaman dan merantau cukup lama, tetapi masyarakat Bulukumba diharapkan tetap mampu menerapkan dan melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya Sikatutui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan yang dipilih sebanyak empat orang secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria antara lain informan merupakan warga Bulukumba yang telah menetap minimal lima tahun di kabupaten/kota yang tersebar di Kalimantan Timur dan bersedia diwawancarai.Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam secara online menggunakan pedoman wawancara pada tanggal 1-5 Desember 2022. Selain itu, peneliti memilih informan kunci yaitu Ketua Kerukunan Keluarga Bulukumba. Pengumpulan data dan informasi dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa informan setuju dilestarikannya budaya Sikatutui yang tidak hanya diperuntukkan sesama perantau dari Bulukumba, tetapi juga terhadap masyarakat di lingkungannya. Implementasi nilai budaya Sikatutui di Kalimantan Timur membuat informan tidak merasa sendiri di perantauan dan adanya sikap saling mendukung dalam hal kebaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to test the entrepreneurial readiness model by presenting self-efficacy as an intervening variable that mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial knowledge. In addition, seven hypotheses were proposed in this study to determine the direct effect between the independent variables of entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial knowledge, through the intervening self-efficacy variable on the dependent variable of entrepreneurial readiness. The population in this study were all students of the Entrepreneurship Study Program, Universitas Negeri Makassar, totaling 306 students and a total sample of 196 respondents, which was generated using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection by questionnaire, data analysis through Path Analysis. Based on the results of research that has been done, directly and indirectly through self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial knowledge have a positive and significant relationship to student interest in entrepreneurship. This is the basis that in this study, student entrepreneurship readiness is largely determined by the attitude and knowledge of entrepreneurship, both directly and through self-efficacy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berbentuk pemanfaatan Ikan Bandeng menjadi Abon yang siap jual dan sebagai alternatif peluang usaha bagi ibu rumah tangga. Peserta pada kegiatan pelatihan ini ini berjumlah 20 orang yang berasal dari kader PKK Desa Sokkolia, Kecamatan Bontomarannu, Kabuaten Gowa. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu memperkenalkan pemanfaatan Ikan Bandeng menjadi Abon yang siap jual, meningkatkan keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam mendukung program ketahanan keluarga, merangsang kreativitas masyarakat untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang bermanfaat, dan sebagai alternatif peluang usaha bagi ibu rumah tangga. Lokasi pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Sokkolia, Kecamatan Bontomarannu, Kabuaten Gowa, melalui praktek demonstratif langsung yang melibatkan unsur-unsur pemangku kepentingan yakni Ibu PKK Desa Sokkolia, Kecamatan Bontomarannu, Kabuaten Gowa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Training of Trainner (TOT) dengan cara pemberian materi melalui ceramah, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung oleh masing-masing peserta. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan untuk kegiatan Ibu PKK Desa Sokkolia, Kecamatan Bontomarannu, Kabuaten Gowa yang diikuti dengan antusias sampai acara selesai dan termotivasi untuk membuat dan memproduksi sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial literacy of brick business actors in Bontotangnga Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that each entrepreneur has not utilized the services and products of existing financial institutions. Even though the services of financial institutions will greatly assist business transactions and can facilitate the expansion of sales. The results of this study found that the opening of a brick business was due to the basic factors inherited from their parents' business. Brick entrepreneurs are also influenced by suppliers of raw materials, so that output and fluctuations in raw materials will affect production costs which ultimately reduce profits, especially for brick entrepreneurs who do not record income and expenses in their business activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the souvenir business development strategy, especially in the souvenir carving business typical of Tanjung Bira Beach which is appropriate so as to increase the selling value. This research is categorized as qualitative descriptive research using SWOT analysis, namely the IFAS and EFAS matrix which are identified as important factors from both the internal environment and the external environment in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from the typical souvenir business of Tanjung Bira Beach. Based on the results of the analysis, the strategy generated in this study is in quadrant 1 (one), namely the aggressive or growth strategy quadrant (growth-oriented strategy), where the total score of strengths and weaknesses is 2.95 while the total score of opportunities is 2.94. The position of this quadrant is very favorable because it can be maximally marketed by implementing marketing mix policies such as improving product quality, expanding promotions, maintenance, and improving service quality that support the aggressive growth of business products typical of Tanjung Bira Beach.

Abstract

Pembangunan desa mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dan strategis dalam rangka Pembangunan Nasional dan Pembangunan Daerah yang menyentuh secara langsung kepentingan sebagian besar masyarakat yang bermukim di pedesaan dalam rangka upaya meningkatkan ke-sejahteraan mereka, untuk meningkatkan fasilitas masyarakat dalam mengembangkan dan memajukan produktivitas sebuah desa. Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal adalah upaya untuk membebaskan masyarakat dari semua keterbatasan yang menghambat usahanya guna membangun kesejahteraannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan dan pelaksanaan dana desa serta upaya dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal di kabupaten Bulukumba yang mana kewenangannya diberikan kepada kepala desa untuk mendukung program pembangunan desa dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriftif yang dilakukan di Desa Pangalloang, Kecamatan Rilau Ale, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Data didapatkan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dana desa dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal di kabupaten bulukumba terlaksana dengan baik, dengan adanya kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah desa dengan masyarak dalam melakuan pembangunan yang di butuhkan oleh masyarakt. Dan juga pemerintah desa malakukan kerjasama dalam oleh pihak swasta dalam pembagunan jalan desa dan juga dapat di bantuh oleh masyarakat desa.
