Abstract

The era of globalization has given birth to increasingly fierce competition among companies, organizations or individuals who are currently doing business or are running a business, whether it's a business in the field of culinary, services, furniture and so on. Efficient and effective communication is needed to be able to convey ideas, thoughts, and feelings to all consumers, including the photography business. The photography business began to mushroom in the community who also needed to capture moments with family, partners or companies. The photo and video production house “Moonrise Photowork” is an example of a photography business that is developing in the community, especially in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City. The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing communications carried out by "Moonrise Photowork". The method used is descriptive qualitative using the theory of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication). Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The result of this research is "Moonrise Photowork" conducts marketing communication using IMC very effectively to support customer loyalty. Highlights: The impact of globalization has intensified competition in various business sectors, including photography, necessitating efficient and effective communication strategies. Moonrise Photowork, a photo and video production house, serves as an example of a photography business thriving in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City, catering to the growing demand for capturing meaningful moments. The study reveals that Moonrise Photowork effectively implements Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies, leading to enhanced customer loyalty and satisfaction. Abstract

This thesis analyzes types of noun phrase construction in Senior high school students’ textbooks found in recount genre. The source of data in this research are chosen report text in three different textbooks, such as “Bahasa Inggris SMA/MA/SMK/MAK kelas X, Pathway to English untuk SMA/MA Kelas X, Forward an English Course for Vocational High School Students Grade X. Result of this research is noun phrase structured from pre-modifier, head, and post- modifier. The majority pattern of noun phrase that found in text was consist of (Det+head), (Det+head+PP+CL), (Det+head+PP), and (Det+head+CL) with most of determiner was “a” and “the” as the pre-modifier. Researcher hopes that this research helps teachers in teaching and learning process, and students will able to improve their writing skills with better understanding about noun phrase construction and using it in their written product.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work conflicts, job stress, and job satisfaction on employee performance in a quantitative research design, focusing on PT. Federal International Finance Group (Fif-Group) Sidoarjo. A sample of 30 employees was selected for the study. Multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation coefficient (R), and classical assumption tests were conducted using SPSS version 18. Primary data were collected through questionnaires employing a Likert scale, which underwent validity and reliability testing. The findings demonstrate that work conflicts, job stress, and job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance, with job satisfaction emerging as the most influential variable. These results contribute to a better understanding of the factors shaping employee performance and have implications for organizations seeking to enhance productivity and well-being in the workplace. Highlights: The study examines the impact of work conflicts, job stress, and job satisfaction on employee performance. Quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression and correlation coefficients is employed to analyze the data. Abstract

Indonesia become is one of the nations which have characteristics almost of community not like reading activity. There is a number of advantages that can be picked when applied reading habits in life. Therefore, researchers are very interested in using research topics related to students' comprehension of reading skills. This study examines more deeply the factors that cause students to have difficulty in understanding the narrative text in English lessons. This type of research is qualitative research that involves descriptive information while the use of the method is more than one such as observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that students have difficulty in reading narrative texts because of internal and external factors.

Abstract

This research is expected to be able to find out in more details what problem are actually faced by the teachers of Al-qur’an. This study aims to determine the implementation of tahfidz Al-qur’an learning management in improving the quality tahfidz al-qur’an and tartil of the students. There are five components that are measured in this study, they are: planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and the teachers role in carrying out thafidz and tartil learning activities. This implementation of this research used descriptive qualitative method. Researchers want to focus on finding out how the implementation, process, response, teacher’s role and evaluations are expected and sought. In this study of course hools. It is hoped that it will be able to provide spliyions to others quranic teachers but each research can give different result. During the implementation of the research, these obstacles must have included some children who memorized a lot but were weak in reading ability, there were children who were good at reading but weak in memorizing this could be due to different educational backgrounds. There were children who graduated from public and private elementary schools. This research is done in SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Sidoarjo. And the research subjects are: the headmaster, vice principal, tutor, administrative staff and some students. This research using qualitative descriptive method. And the data is collected by interviews, observation and documentation. From this research can be concluded that 1)tahfidz al-qur’an learning curriculum has not been implemented in the form of syllabus or RPP 2) tutor hasn’t created yet RPP but has already inform to the students what surah or juz must be memorized 3) the learning implementation is held outside of school hours 4) the evaluation activity is held in every the student memorize .

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the current and expected profile of organizational culture and its effect on employee performance. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) to collect data through a survey. Total sampling and non-probability sampling methods were employed, with 184 respondents participating in the study. The analysis, conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics software (Version 24), revealed a common perception between owners and employees, indicating that the current cultural profile of the organization is dominated by hierarchy and market cultures. However, the desired cultural profile aspired to maximize the presence of hierarchy, market, clan, and adhocracy cultures. Furthermore, the study demonstrated a simultaneous and partial influence of hierarchical culture, market culture, clan culture, and adhocracy culture on employee performance. Among these, the variables of hierarchy culture and clan culture were found to have the most significant impact on IKM performance. These findings emphasize the importance of understanding and shaping organizational culture to enhance employee performance and productivity. Highlights: Current and expected profile of organizational culture: The study explores the current and expected cultural profile of Pia Japanan IKM, identifying the prevailing culture as hierarchy and market, while aiming to maximize hierarchy, market, clan, and adhocracy cultures in the future. Influence on employee performance: The research reveals a significant impact of hierarchical culture, market culture, clan culture, and adhocracy culture on employee performance, with hierarchy culture and clan culture identified as the most influential variables for IKM performance. Quantitative approach and sampling: The study employs a quantitative approach, using the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) for data collection through a survey. Total sampling and non-probability sampling methods are utilized, with 184 respondents included in the analysis. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the educational environment on students' interest in learning. The non-experimental quantitative research method with descriptive correlational research design was tested on several experimental classes using an assessment instrument in the form of giving a questionnaire of 20 questions to determine the effect of the educational environment on students' interest in learning. The population used was 412 using simple random sampling technique so that in class VII there were 24 representatives from 119 students, class VIII 24 from representatives of 122 students, and class IX consisted of 34 representatives from 171 students at Avisena Junior High School. Data analysis used correlation between variables X and Y through the SPSS 25 application, namely. Based on the results of descriptive analysis found that the educational environment was in the good category 46.9%, and the results of interest in learning were in the good category 43.3%. The educational environment is significantly and positively related, shown because the significance value is 0.02 < 0.05, then it is correlated and the Pearson correlation value is 0.319 > 0.213 r table so that based on the correlation value greater than r table, there is a relationship between the educational environment variable and students' interest in learning science

Abstract

Teachers have a very important role in improving the quality of education in schools. Therefore, strategies appropriate principals are highly demanded to improve teacher competence. The purpose of this research to describe the principal’s strategy in improving the personality competence of teachers at Multilingual Anak Saleh Sedati elementary schools. The research method was qualitative. The result showed that principal made a teacher personality up grading program. The program consists of: coaching, training, assignments and supervision. The up grading program increases the personality competence of teachers who are steady and stable, mature, wise, dignified and have a noble character. This research is expected to add insight and knowledge about the principal’s strategy in improving teacher personality competence.

Abstract

The collective leadership model is very influential in the implementation of the development of educational institutions, basically the implementation of this collective leadership model is the division of tasks and positions as a whole with the shared authority and responsibility.This study describes the collective leadership model in increasing the target for the development of the An Nur Penatarsewu Islamic boarding school Tanggulangin Sidoarjo educational institution, the focus of the research is the collective leadership model, its implementation, "supporting and inhibiting factors" in the implementation of the development of Islamic boarding school educational institutions.The choice of research method in describing it using qualitative methods. Researchers collect data by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by triangulating the data, examining the suitability of the written data, the results of interviews and observations that had been made.This research produces findings. First, the An Nur Penatarsewu Islamic boarding school uses a collective leadership model in developing educational institutions by means of: planning, monitoring and evaluation. The decision-making system of the An Nur Islamic Boarding School is by way of deliberation and consensus by taking steps; identification of problems, gathering information, predicting the consequences that will occur, alternative decisions Second, the collective leadership of the An Nur Islamic boarding school carries out the duties and responsibilities shared by each other. Third, the application of collective leadership is driven by a sense of togetherness in developing the An Nur Islamic boarding school educational institution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the Project Citizen Learning Model and social intelligence to the 5th and 6th graders of SD Muhammadiyah 01 Sidoarjo. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The result is that the steps in this model have been implemented by the teacher. Starting from the beginning of learning, teachers and students identify problems and seek information about public policies that exist in the community by discussing, groups will present their work and portfolios that have been made, reflecting on the learning experience at the end of the lesson. Based on the results of the questionnaire data obtained 89% of students are confident in making new friends, 97.8%. Students easily communicate with friends, 93.5% are able to communicate with other people including school workers, 79.7% help friends complete assignments, 90% are able to do school assignments well, 100% of students answer the mandate to take care of safekeeping items. With this Learning Model, not only cognitive abilities are obtained by students but the development of students' social intelligence is evident from the results of questionnaires distributed by researchers.
