Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed patterns of human relationships from embodied presence to virtually mediated interactions. This transformation affects not only social communication but also spiritual experiences, church practices, and human understanding of presence. This study aims to construct a theological understanding of the Incarnation in the context of virtual space through a constructive theology approach. The research employs qualitative methods with a systematic Christological approach, contextual theology, and digital theology. Analysis is conducted through conceptual analysis, theological synthesis, and normative-contextual reconstruction of the relationship between the doctrine of the Incarnation and modern digital culture. The results of the study indicate that the deepest core of the Incarnation does not lie solely in physicality, but in the relational presence of a personal and transformative God.

Abstract

The crisis of modern faith education is characterized by religious learning that tends to be cognitive, individualistic, and insufficiently transformative, causing faith education to lose its dimensions of spiritual formation and social responsibility. In this context, the Reformation thought of Huldrych Zwingli offers an important contribution to the reconstruction of the paradigm of Christian Religious Education (CRE). This article aims to analyze Zwingli’s Reformation theology, particularly regarding church–state relations and sacramental pedagogy, as well as its relevance to the renewal of contemporary faith education. This study employs a literature review method using a historical-theological literature review approach through an examination of Zwingli’s primary works and relevant secondary sources in the fields of Reformation theology and Christian education.

Abstract

This article examines the dimension of solidarity in charismatic theology by situating the themes of blessing, restoration, and the work of the Holy Spirit within the framework of God’s solidarity with humanity. This study seeks to reconstruct this understanding through the framework of the theology of solidarity, so that prosperity can be interpreted as a holistic restoration of life that also has a social impact. Methodologically, this study is qualitative, combining a constructive theological approach with a literature review of biblical texts, solidarity theology literature, Pentecostal/Charismatic theology, and liberation theology. The research findings reveal that God’s solidarity is manifested through acts of liberation in the Old Testament, reaching its pinnacle in the incarnation, ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and is subsequently continued through the work of the Holy Spirit, which shapes the church community to live in a spirit of sharing and empowerment.

Abstract

This article discusses pedagogical transformation in Christian Religious Education through the use of digital storytelling in the digital era. Technological developments have significantly changed the learning patterns of contemporary students, making conventional one-way teaching approaches increasingly ineffective. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method through a literature review to analyze the role of digital storytelling as a transformative learning medium in faith and character formation. The findings reveal that digital storytelling creates a more interactive, participatory, and contextual learning environment by integrating narratives, visuals, audio, and spiritual reflection. This approach not only enhances students’ cognitive understanding but also strengthens their affective and spiritual dimensions holistically. Furthermore, the concept of Digital Faith Formation demonstrates that faith development can occur within participatory and collaborative digital spaces.

Abstract

The Anabaptist movement was one of the significant movements within the sixteenth-century Radical Reformation that greatly influenced the development of Christian theology and education. From this movement emerged the Mennonite tradition and significant influences on the Baptist Church, particularly regarding believer’s baptism, religious freedom, and Christian discipleship. This article aims to analyze the theological and pedagogical ideas of the Anabaptist movement, the Mennonite Church, and the Baptist Church, as well as their implications for Christian Religious Education. The method used in this study is library research with a descriptive analytical approach toward various theological and Christian educational literatures. The findings reveal that these three traditions emphasize the importance of personal conversion, discipleship, Christian character formation, exemplary living, and community-based education.

Abstract

Church planting in modern society faces serious challenges such as missionary growth stagnation and the tendency toward worship services and leadership figures that are centralized. This study aims to describe the theological basis of cell group multiplication based on the Great Commission and to analyze its implementation strategies in church planting. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach, collecting and analyzing theological literature, scientific journals, and biblical studies systematically. The results show that the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 gives a mandate for discipleship that is reproductive, while the pattern of the early church in Acts 2:42-47 demonstrates the effectiveness of house communities as a basis for growth and church planting. Effective cell group multiplication strategies include relational evangelism, reproductive discipleship, leadership multiplication, and the formation of new congregations.

Abstract

This article discusses culture and faith through an intercultural approach in the approach of Christian Religious Education (PAK) and places the traditional culture of Sasi worship in Halmahera as the main case study. This research uses a reflective qualitative approach with hermeneutic, phenomenological and cultural philosophical analyses to interpret the meaning of Sasi worship as a cultural practice but which has also undergone integration with the Christian faith. The results of the study will try to show that Sasi worship is not only a celebration of buaday with a customary-ecological mechanism, but also a theological and pedagogical space in representing ecological spirituality, responsibility ethics, and contextual and transformative faith education. From the perspective of PAK, this tradition serves as a learning medium for grounded faith, teaching the value of creation ministry, social solidarity and life balance.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way learners learn, interact, and access knowledge. In the context of Christian Religious Education (PAK), this change presents both challenges and opportunities to realize inclusive learning for all students, including those with diverse learning needs. This article aims to examine the adaptation of PAK content for digital-based inclusive learning through the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) 3.0 framework and examine its theological and pedagogical implications. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various literature on inclusive education, digital technology, Universal Design for Learning, and Christian Religious Education. The results of the study show that the principles of UDL, namely engagement, representation, and action and expression, can be effectively integrated in PAK learning through the use of digital technology and a student-centered pedagogical approach.
