Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Quick Ratio, Operational Cost Ratio on Operating Income (BOPO), and the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio to Return on Equity (ROE) partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is associative research. The method used in this study is panel data estimation method, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The data sources used in this study are secondary data in the form of financial statements of 10 conventional banks obtained from 2010 to 2014. The samples in this study were 10 conventional banks. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling where samples were taken based on the reasons for clear criteria. The data analysis technique used in this study is panel data estimation method, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. To test the significance of the regression coefficient using the t-test and F-test with significance (sig) of 5%. Processing data using Eviews 09.00. The results of this study indicate that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Quick Ratio, Operational Cost Ratio to Return on Equity (ROE) because of Fcount> Ftable (5.42E + 27> 2.45) and Fstatistic significance value (Fcount) <0.05 (0.000000 <0.05). The results of this study also show that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a partially significant effect on Return on Equity (ROE), Quick Ratio has a partially significant effect on Return on Equity (ROE), Operational Cost Ratio to Return on Equity (ROE), and The Non Performing Loan (NPL) ratio has a partially significant effect on Return on Equity (ROE) where the tstatistic significance value (tcount) for each of the independent variables is <0.05 (0.0000 <0.05).

Abstract

This is a survey project: using a sample which was taken from the certain population. Thepopulation under study were taken from PT. ReINDO, (204) in which the sample were 111respondents, using simple random sample; the sample recruitment technique which was donerandombly and each person in the population has a possibility as a sample.Data analysis wasdone by using descriptive analytic and statistics (correlation, coefficient determinants, t-test, Ftest and regression).Based on descriptive analysis this research found that development, working motivationand employee performance were quite high.Mean while, based on statistic analysis, this researchfound that human resource development and working motivation have positive impact foremployee performance as a single factor and multiple factors. The development of human resource has a positive effeckt and significance corelation foremployee performance in PT. ReINDO with correlation ceficcient value 0,451 and coefficientdeterminant 20,3 % wich was explained by using regression : Y= 19,51+0,955 Xt. Workingmotivations has a positive effect and significance for employee performance in PT. ReINDO, withcorrelation coefficient value 0,646 and coefficient determinant wich was explained by regression: Y + 26,391+0,963X2. These positive impacts haave linier correlation which was explained thatthe higher working motivation the more increased the employee performance; and vice versa.Keyword : working motivation and employee performance were quite high, working motivationand employee performance were quite high.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of ethical relations, organizational commitment toemployee performance in the Ministry of Tourism, and to find out how the influence of ethicalfactors, organizational commitment to employee performance. In this study the authorsdistributed questionnaires to 86 respondents with simple random sampling technique and the dataanalysis method used was multiple regression and multiple correlation F test.Based on the calculation, a regression of Y = 0.686 + 0.767 X1 + 0.069 X2 means that anyincrease in ethical variables (X1) will be followed by an increase in employee performance, eachincrease in organizational commitment will be followed by an increase in employee performance. With R = 0.90, this shows that there is a level of strong and positive relationship between ethicsand organizational commitment with employee performance. This means that an increase inethics and organizational commitment leads to an increase in employee performance. Fromtesting with the F hypothesis it is known that the F count is 177.070 while the F table is 3.11 withthe numerator dk 2 (= k-1 = 3-1) and the denominator n - k = 86 - 3 = 83. Because the F count isgreater instead of F table, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationshipbetween ethics (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) on employee performance (Y).From the coefficient of determination of 81%, this shows that the influence of ethics andorganizational commitment by 81% on the increase in employee performance, while theremaining 19% is influenced by other variables not included in this research model. For furtherresearch is expected to add other variables related to employee performance such as training, motivation, job satisfaction and so on, so it can be better known the influence of other factors thatwill affect employee performance.
