Abstract

Quality improvement is essential for enhancing the competitiveness of export-oriented garment manufacturers. However, production defects during cutting, sewing, and finishing continue to increase rework, material waste, production costs, and delivery delays, indicating weaknesses in existing quality management practices. This study aimed to develop an integrated quality improvement framework by identifying priority production quality attributes and diagnosing the root causes of manufacturing defects at PT Anggun Kreasi Garment. A descriptive quantitative case study was conducted involving **30 respondents** selected through purposive and proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.969 for importance and 0.962 for performance), supported by observations, interviews, and company quality records. Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) were applied sequentially to evaluate production quality, identify priority attributes in Quadrant I, and determine the underlying causes of defects. The analysis identified 22 priority quality attributes across the cutting, sewing, and finishing departments. The dominant root causes were associated with machine reliability, work methods, human factors, material management, workplace conditions, and quality control practices. The proposed integrated IPA–FTA framework supports evidence-based quality improvement by linking performance evaluation with root-cause analysis, enabling more focused and effective decision-making for continuous quality improvement in garment manufacturing.

Abstract

The digital transformation implemented by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) through the adoption of CEISA 4.0 aims to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and reliability in customs services, including at operational units within the Free Trade Zone (FTZ). However, recurring issues such as system downtime, document validation failures, and access difficulties indicate a gap between user expectations and the net benefit of the system. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use on user satisfaction and the net benefit of the CEISA 4.0 application among service users in the FTZ. A quantitative approach was employed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS v4.2.9. A purposive sampling technique was applied to CEISA 4.0 service users in the FTZ areas of Batam, Bintan, Karimun, and Sabang. All constructs demonstrated adequate reliability and validity (Cronbach's Alpha 0.847–0.931; Composite Reliability 0.897–0.946; AVE 0.686–0.748). Data were collected through a Likert 1–5 scale questionnaire distributed to CEISA 4.0 service users in the Free Trade Zone. The theoretical framework integrates the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the DeLone & McLean IS Success Model. Results indicate that: (1) perceived ease of use has a significant positive effect on user satisfaction (β = 0.649; p < 0.05); (2) user satisfaction has a significant positive effect on net benefit (β = 0.442; p < 0.05); (3) perceived ease of use has a direct significant positive effect on net benefit (β = 0.229; p < 0.05); and (4) user satisfaction significantly mediates the effect of perceived ease of use on net benefit (β = 0.287; p < 0.05). These findings underscore that improving ease of use of CEISA 4.0 is a strategic key to enhancing user satisfaction and net benefit of digital customs services in FTZ.

Abstract

Abstract

This systematic review synthesizes how transformational and digital leadership are connected to public trust through organizational capability, digital transparency, dialogic communication, service performance, and procedural fairness, with Indonesia as the primary institutional context. Searches covered 2012-29 July 2026 across Google Scholar, GARUDA, publisher portals, Crossref/DOI records, and backward citations. Peer-reviewed public-sector studies with an explicit method and evidence for at least two focal constructs were eligible. Of 78 identified records, 31 were retained after screening and quality appraisal: 19 Indonesia-focused and 12 international or comparative studies. Screening, extraction, and coding were completed in two sequential passes by one reviewer using a structured evidence matrix and an MMAT-informed, design-sensitive appraisal; independent inter-rater agreement was therefore not calculated. Because designs, measures, and reported effects were not statistically comparable, narrative thematic synthesis was used instead of meta-analysis. The corpus provides stronger evidence for adjacent links than for a complete causal leadership-trust chain. Leadership is associated with internal capability and ethical climate, while trust is more consistently associated with usable and verifiable transparency, responsive communication, reliable services, and fair correction. Comparative evidence also shows that visibility, participation, or digitalization alone does not necessarily increase trust. The review proposes an evidence-informed conversion framework in which internal leadership conditions shape citizen-facing governance mechanisms that inform competence, integrity, and benevolence judgments under contextual boundary conditions.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effects of physical fitness, parenting style, and secondhand smoke exposure on Physical Education learning outcomes and to examine the mediating role of secondhand smoke exposure. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 38 fifth- and sixth-grade students from Kuranji Elementary School Number 32nd, Padang City, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI), parenting style and secondhand smoke exposure questionnaires, and Physical Education academic records. Data were analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 27. Physical fitness had a positive and significant effect on Physical Education learning outcomes (β = 0.427; p < 0.001), while parenting style (β = −0.379; p = 0.001) and secondhand smoke exposure (β = −0.344; p = 0.001) also showed significant effects. The model explained 68.2% of the variance in Physical Education learning outcomes. Physical Education learning outcomes are influenced not only by students' physical fitness but also by family environmental factors, particularly parenting practices and reduced exposure to secondhand smoke.

Abstract

Indonesia's decentralized government relies on collaboration across ministries, regional agencies, villages, public-service units, businesses, universities, civil-society organizations, and communities. This review analyzes how such coordination is converted into integrated policy, joint implementation, and public value. A PRISMA-aligned search of indexed journal literature published in 2020-2025 identified 74 records; 35 articles remained after duplicate removal, screening, full-text assessment, and index verification. The corpus comprised 26 qualitative case/process studies, four mixed or quantitative studies, and five review, policy, or conceptual articles. Because designs and outcomes were heterogeneous, the study used structured extraction, design-sensitive methodological appraisal, and hybrid deductive-inductive thematic synthesis rather than statistical pooling. The synthesis indicates that collaboration is warranted when authority, knowledge, implementation capacity, and legitimacy are distributed across organizations; hierarchy remains necessary for legal authority, minimum standards, rapid command, and accountability. Five conditions repeatedly distinguish substantive collaboration from ceremonial participation: an authoritative mandate linked to resources, facilitative and boundary-spanning leadership, explicit roles and decision rights, integration of plans-budgets-data-workflows, and accountability for citizen outcomes. The proposed Indonesian Collaborative Government Management Cycle connects problem interdependence, actor architecture, shared intelligence, policy integration, joint delivery, and public-value learning. Its theoretical contribution is to position policy integration as the conversion mechanism between collaborative process and service outcomes, while treating mandated participation, decentralization capacity, power asymmetry, cultural legitimacy, and digital interoperability as contextual conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective interactive e-worksheet utilizing Canva, and Liveworksheets platforms based on Jerome Bruner’s cognitive development theory (enactive, iconic, symbolic) to improve the counting abilities of children aged 5-6 years. Using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) research and development (R&D) model, this study was conducted at TK Pautan Hati Sungai Tambang during the 2025/2026 academic year. The subjects consisted of 5 children for the pilot test and 20 children for the field test. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher practicality questionnaires, and children's counting performance tests (pretest and posttest). Formative evaluation from media, material, and evaluation experts showed a cumulative validation score of 94.08% (Highly Valid). The teacher's practicality response reached 97.00% (Highly Practical). Furthermore, quantitative analysis demonstrated a significant increase in children's average counting scores from 53.25 (pretest) to 89.50 (posttest). The efficiency was confirmed by a Normalized Gain (N-Gain) score of 0.776 (High Effectiveness) and a Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). In conclusion, the developed interactive e-worksheet is highly feasible, practical, and effective to be implemented in early childhood numerative learning.

Abstract

Soccer is a high-intensity intermittent sport characterized by repeated efforts of sprinting, jumping, and rapid directional changes, demanding highly developed anaerobic capacities. Despite growing scholarly interest in anaerobic training for soccer players, the diversity of training modalities, populations, and outcome measures has precluded definitive conclusions regarding optimal training configurations. This systematic review aimed to synthesize the available scientific evidence on the effects of anaerobic training interventions on physical performance outcomes in soccer players. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines (Page et al., 2021), a comprehensive search was conducted on the Scopus database, yielding an initial pool of 931 records. After removing 15 duplicate records, 237 records were screened based on title and abstract, of which 174 were excluded. Of the 63 full-text articles assessed for eligibility, 41 were further excluded due to irrelevant study designs, non-intervention nature, or populations outside the scope. Consequently, 22 studies published between 2021 and 2025 were included in the final synthesis. The findings indicate that sprint interval training, plyometric training, and combined anaerobic training programs significantly improve repeated sprint ability, sprint speed, explosive power, and change-of-direction performance in soccer players across various age groups and competitive levels. High-intensity interval training emerges as an effective and versatile approach when individualized according to training frequency, intensity, and recovery parameters. These results have important implications for sports scientists and coaches in designing evidence-based anaerobic conditioning programs. Future research should prioritize female populations, long-term follow-up assessments, and training periodization frameworks.

Abstract

Football is the most widely practised team sport in Southeast Asia, yet regional teams continue to underperform relative to international benchmarks, and the physical fitness evidence underpinning player development remains fragmented across countries and competitive tiers. This systematic review synthesises how physical fitness has been characterised among football players in Southeast Asia and how the reported profiles differ across competitive levels. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 framework. A Boolean search of Scopus using TITLE-ABS-KEY, combining football, physical fitness and Southeast Asian country terms, retrieved 4,122 records. Eligibility was restricted to English-language journal articles published in final stage between 2021 and 2025 that reported at least one standardised physical fitness outcome for football players sampled in a Southeast Asian country; reviews, non-player populations and studies without fitness outcomes were excluded. After duplicate removal, filtering and screening, 53 reports were assessed in full text and 22 studies were included. Aerobic capacity and linear speed dominated the evidence base, whereas flexibility, balance and anaerobic power were rarely profiled, and professional and female cohorts were markedly underrepresented. The findings support level-specific testing batteries and a harmonised regional normative database, and future work should prioritise longitudinal, cross-level and female-focused designs.
