PANTAREI Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal that serves as a multidisciplinary forum for critical inquiry and scholarly discussion on creativity and innovation within the contexts of education, art, and social sciences. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires educational institutions to provide information platforms that are accessible, effective, and visually representative of their institutional identity. SD Islam Harapan Ibu Pondok Pinang, as a modern Islamic elementary school, requires a redesigned website interface that not only delivers information clearly but also reflects Islamic values and a child friendly educational approach. This study aims to develop a website interface that is visually appealing, informative, and easy to use, particularly for parents and prospective students. The research employs data collection through content observation, user needs analysis, wireframe sketching, and the selection of visual elements such as color schemes, typography, iconography, and responsive layout structures. The findings indicate that an interface emphasizing simplicity, clarity of information, and visual consistency with the school’s identity enhances readability, user experience, and public perception of the school’s professionalism. The originality of this study lies in its integration of Islamic values and child-friendly design principles into the development of a school website interface an approach that remains underexplored within the context of Islamic elementary education. The implications of this research highlight the importance of interface designs that are not only functional but also visually communicative in strengthening the school’s digital communication strategy and supporting institutional promotion in the digital era.

Abstract

The reserach aims to understand to communication patterns formed within the Kaizer Tim group while playing the online game PUBG Mobile.Communication is a crutial element for archieving shared hoals, such as strategy, coordination, and teamwork. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and uses a post-positivism paradigm. The study applies group conversation theory. Data were collected through non-participant observation, structured interviews, documentation, and litelature study. The study employs triangulation of data collection techniques. The results indicate that communication patterns whitin the team are influenced by certain factor, such as flekxible roles, emotional factors, and the use of communication technologies like the voice chat feature in the game. Communication within the Kaizer Team is informal with spesific circumstances, utilizing specitif codes to convey information, structured communication, and situational outcomes. The team’s structure and role are flexible. The study also highlights that adaptability to specific situations and the use of informal language are distinctive characteristics of the team’s communication. Inconclusion, clear communication patterns can contribute to the whole team members communication. In conclusion, clear communication patterns can contribute to the team’s success in the game. This study provides insights into the importance of communication within groups in online games

Abstract

This study examines the effect of parliamentary aspiration communication on student enrolment participation in higher education, with scholarship awareness as a mediating variable and digital literacy as a moderating variable, among grade XII students in Sukabumi Regency and Sukabumi City (West Java IV). A quantitative survey was conducted with 192 valid responses from SMA and SMK students, selected using cluster and purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering four constructs and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The measurement model met reliability and validity criteria, with composite reliability values above 0.89 and AVE values above 0.62 for all constructs, and discriminant validity confirmed through Fornell–Larcker and HTMT tests. The structural model showed that parliamentary aspiration communication had a significant positive effect on scholarship awareness (β = 0.52; p < 0.001) and student enrolment participation (β = 0.24; p = 0.004), while scholarship awareness also had a significant positive effect on enrolment participation (β = 0.47; p < 0.001). Scholarship awareness was found to act as a complementary mediator in the relationship between parliamentary aspiration communication and student enrolment participation, with a significant indirect effect (β = 0.24; p < 0.001). In addition, digital literacy significantly moderated the relationship between parliamentary aspiration communication and scholarship awareness (β = 0.18; p = 0.011), indicating that the influence of parliamentary communication on awareness is stronger among students with higher digital literacy. These findings suggest that strengthening parliamentary communication on education, increasing students’ awareness of scholarships, and improving digital literacy are jointly important to enhance higher education enrolment among final-year secondary students in Sukabumi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the automated chat feature of the Shopee e-commerce platform and its impact on sales growth, service quality, and digital economic efficiency. The integration of AI into customer service has transformed interaction patterns between sellers and buyers by enabling faster, more consistent, and error-minimized responses. This research employs a mixed-methods approach by combining quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were collected through a survey of 120 Shopee users who had interacted with the automated chat feature, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 12 active sellers utilizing the AI Chat Response feature. The results indicate that the implementation of AI significantly reduced message response time from an average of 4.8 minutes to 27 seconds. This improvement in response speed directly contributed to an increase in message-to-transaction conversion rates of up to 38% and customer satisfaction levels reaching 92%. Furthermore, sellers who adopted the AI Chat Response feature experienced an average sales increase of 18.6% over the three-month research period. Analysis based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) and the E-Service Quality framework demonstrates that AI significantly enhances perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and overall digital service quality. These findings confirm that AI adoption not only improves sellers’ operational efficiency but also plays a strategic role in fostering digital economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), the use of digital filters, and artificial intelligence(AI) technology in shaping business image in the digital era. The phenomenon of FOMO has become a major driving forcebehind business engagement in following aesthetic trends to maintain relevance on social media platforms. Using aquantitative approach with an explanatory research design, this study examines the effect of FOMO on the intensity ofdigital filter and AI usage and its impact on business image. Data were collected through an online survey using a Likertscaleinstrument and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The findings indicatethat FOMO has a significant influence on the use of digital filters and AI technologies and exerts both direct and indirecteffects on business image. The application of visual technologies is shown to enhance perceptions of professionalism,aesthetic appeal, and brand credibility among consumers. Furthermore, the study reveals that psychological pressure anddigital social dynamics accelerate the frequency of visual content updates by businesses. These results contributetheoretically to the integration of psychological variables and visual technologies in the formation of digital brand image,while also offering practical implications for business practitioners in designing ethical, adaptive, and effective visualcommunication strategies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social media used by members of the Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD DKI Jakarta) in building institutional image and enhancing transparency of public performance. The study is motivated by the rapid growth of social media as a public communication platform that requires government institutions to be more open, accountable, and responsive to public demands. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on an internship (Praktik Kerja Lapangan) program conducted at the Jakarta DPRD. Data were collected through observation, interviews, direct participation, and documentation during the internship period. The findings indicate that social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, function as strategic communication channels for disseminating information related to legislative activities, including plenary meetings, recess activities, working visits, and social programs. Well-managed content that is consistent, informative, and visually structured contributes to increased public engagement and supports the formation of a professional and transparent institutional image. The application of Information Integration Theory and the Social Media Engagement Behavior model demonstrates that audiences integrate various pieces of information received through social media to construct perceptions of institutional performance.The originality of this study lies in the integration of practical internship experience with communication theory analysis within the context of digital media management in a regional legislative institution. The results are expected to provide insights for public institutions in developing effective digital communication strategies to strengthen public trust and participation
