Abstract

Facilities, infrastructure, technology and textbooks are important factors in the learning process. Facilities and Infrastructure Standards are national education standards relating to minimum criteria for classrooms, sports halls, places of worship, libraries, laboratories, seminars, playgrounds, places for creativity and entertainment as well as other learning resources needed to support the learning process, including their use. The use of information technology allows the learning process to shift from passive absorption of learning material to conscious awareness, so that the learning process becomes more interesting and effective. Student-centered curriculum design must adapt students' abilities, including skills, knowledge and attitudes, to their talents, interests and development, focus attention on students, determine learning models, develop teaching materials, determine the learning process, pay attention to learning objectives. Management of educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of learning must start from planning, procurement, maintenance, disposal and monitoring. Adequate facilities and infrastructure, technology and textbooks can help improve the quality of education and increase student achievement in the fields of sports, science and technology. This research aims to analyze the role of facilities and infrastructure management in increasing the effectiveness of learning media for students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Anwarul Hasaniyyah (ANWAHA) Tabalong Regency. Good management of facilities and infrastructure in schools is very important to create a conducive learning environment. The research method used is a case study by collecting data through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that the management of facilities and infrastructure at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Anwarul Hasaniyyah has made a positive contribution to the effectiveness of student learning media. Adequate and well-maintained facilities create an environment that supports the learning process. In addition, the management of technology and sophisticated learning tools has helped improve the quality of teaching. This research underlines the important role of facilities and infrastructure management in increasing the effectiveness of learning in madrasas. These findings can be a basis for decision making at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Anwarul Hasaniyyah and other madrasas to continue to improve and manage facilities and infrastructure well in order to improve the quality of education

Abstract

Library promotion aims to attract visitors to the library. The IAIS Sambas Library is a university library that provides sources of information to students. This study looks at the extent to which promotion is carried out by the IAIS Sambas library. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the IAIS Sambas library in promotion planning conducts user target analysis, library SWOT analysis, and determines the purpose of library promotion to determine which promotional media will be used. The promotion of the IAIS Sambas library uses individual sales, use of Facebook social media, blogs and word of mouth, and direct sales (whatsapp and email). The obstacle faced by the Pustakalana library in carrying out promotions was the lack of human and financial resources, so that the implementation of several activities was hampered.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into and understand the experiences of junior high school students in their eflorts to overcome academic procrastination behavior through counseling guidance services. Academic procrastination has been identified as an issue that aflects academic performance and emotional well-being of students. In this context, counseling guidance services are considered a potential source of support and strategies for students. Data is collected and analyzed using a thematic analysis approach to identify thematic patterns in participant narratives. The results of this research provide deep insights into how students experience and confront the challenges of academic procrastination. These findings also depict eflective strategies and approaches in addressing academic procrastination through counseling guidance services. This research holds significant implications for the development of more focused and responsive counseling guidance programs tailored to students' needs in managing their time and academic tasks. By understanding the students' perspectives, schools can devise more eflective interventions to help students develop time management skills and overcome procrastination tendencies.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe language and literacy planning in Indonesia. The language planning under study is focused on planning the Indonesian language which is positioned as the state language and national language. While literacy is focused on reading-writing literacy. Language planning is an activity carried out by the government or an agency appointed by the government to develop, foster and protect the Indonesian language. In Indonesia this body is the Language Development and Development Agency, which is then shortened to Language Agency. This agency has a vision of realizing human beings with character and becoming the nation's self through Indonesian language and literature. Many efforts have been made to pursue this vision, one of which is through the National Literacy Movement (GLN). So this paper focuses on developing, fostering, and protecting the Indonesian language and its relation to literacy conditions in Indonesia

Abstract

This research investigates the use of interactive content as a technology-based learning media tool to increase student learning motivation. In the context of rapid development of information and communication technology, education requires innovation in learning methods. Interactive content is recognized as an effective tool that can enrich students' learning experiences through clear and interactive visual representations. The aim of the research is to analyze literature related to student learning motivation, explore the benefits and challenges associated with it, and communicate the contribution of this research in the development of innovative learning practices. a research approach that uses data in the form of numbers to measure, analyze and interpret phenomena. It is used in a variety of scientific disciplines to identify relationships between variables, collect data with methods such as surveys or experiments, and produce findings that can be generalized to a larger population. Nonetheless, it is important for educators and researchers to pay attention to quality animation design as well as the role of educators in facilitates the effective use of animation. This research contributes to the development of innovative learning practices and further explores the use of animation as an effective learning medium in increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to find out the nature or meaning of the 3T area, 2) to find out indicators of low quality education in the 3T area, 3) and to find out the strategy for improving the quality of education in the 3T area along with the improvement procedures. By using the qualitative research method of literature study, namely by collecting information from various reading books and literature, it was found that education in the 3T areas or frontier, remote, and underdeveloped areas is currently still low. This condition is caused by various things, one of which is Indonesia's topography which is spread from east to west. An area is said to be a 3T region regulated in the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Regulation Number 131 of 2015 concerning underdeveloped areas, one of which is the low quality of education. Therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of education so that educational goals can be realized optimally. Efforts to increase this are not only carried out by one party, but by all parties, namely from the center, educational units, to the community.

Abstract

A good strategy from the principal in applying the vision and mission is highly expected, in order to improve the quality of the school. Therefore it is necessary to formulate long-term and short-term programs in achieving its goals. Based on this statement, the formulation of the problem in this study is how was the strategy carried out by the head of the school in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung?, and what are the long and short term goals and programs that have been carried out by the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung?. The goal to be achieved is to find out the achievement of the strategy carried out by the head of the school in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and the long and short term goals and programs that have been carried out by the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. This type of research is field research and the approach taken is a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the strategy carried out by the school head in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and the subjects of this research are the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and 3 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. The data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentaries. Data processing techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification and data analysis using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the school head’s strategy in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung is illustrated in the following description: 1) The achievement of the strategy carried out by the school head in applying the vision and mission is by using several strategies in achieving the existing vision and mission and apply the vision and mission by determining and assigning school residents according to their respective fields. The Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung is also always active in all activities at the school and is even the first person in protecting his citizens, because he not only governs, but is also directly involved in it. 2) The long-term goal is to make SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. The short-term program is achieved with in 1 to 5 years and this is illustrated by the existing vision and mission. While the programs that have been implemented include participating in competitions at the district and provincial levels and even at the national level, involving teachers in teacher training, and having extra curriculars fostered by competent people.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain reading literacy-based learning of fable texts to improve affective intelligence in class VII B students of SMP Negeri 11 Tegal. The research method used is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive working mechanism to describe learning fable texts. The research data is the attitude of students in carrying out literacy culture-based learning. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing, recording, and documenting techniques. Analysis of the research data is a content analysis technique. The results of this study found that learning fable texts based on reading literacy can improve the affective intelligence of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 11 Tegal. All students of class VII B have been able to determine moral values in fable texts as evidence of reading literacy activities and can then implement these moral values in everyday life.

Abstract

National education management in Indonesia as a whole still tends to be centralized so that the development of democratization and decentralization of education is not encouraging. Education management problems basically involve efficiency in the use of existing resources. National education management is a strategy that needs to be reorganized to overcome the negative effects of globalization. This management revitalization will also direct globalization in a positive direction for the development of national civilization. So far, the centralized management system of education has proven not to bring significant progress to improving the quality of education in general. In fact, in certain cases, centralized management has hampered the creativity of educational units at various types and levels.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the beginning of the distance of students' habits from religious activities. The aim is to describe the effectiveness of habituation of tadarus Al Qur'an as the implementation of literacy in SMP Negeri 18 Kota Cirebon. The formulation of the problem from this study is how effective the habituation of tadarus Al Qur'an as the implementation of literacy in SMP Negeri 18 Kota Cirebon. The method used is descriptive qualitative, the researcher acts as a key instrument and describes the situation objectively or based on visible facts. The source of data from this study is teachers and students at SMP Negeri 18 Kota Cirebon with reference to indicators of the effectiveness of tadarus habituation as literacy implementation. The result of this study is an increase in students' positive attitudes related to congregational Zuhur prayer activities, Friday prayer activities, Friday infak, and memorizing short letters juz 30, as well as students' readiness to learn which is getting better, so that the habituation of tadarus as an implementation of literacy in SMP Negeri 18 Kota Cirebon is considered very effective.
