Abstract

Education requires input from various parties in the formulation of its policies. Given that the moral crisis is escalating, strict educational management is needed. Education is a process of instilling and developing values and norms that are implicit in every subject, including Islamic education and its teachers. Therefore, it is not only Islamic education teachers who have the responsibility to educate students' morals and character, but this also applies to all educators. Efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education have been widely implemented. The aim is to convey the meaning of education that serves to build the character and morals of a dignified nation in order to educate the nation, develop the potential of Indonesians who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, have noble morals, are healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, and independent. The shortcomings and strengths of each school will have an impact and require different approaches. Appropriate policies and management will yield positive outcomes aligned with the institution's objectives. Conversely, if management and policies are not tailored to the institution's needs, failure is inevitable. Do not merely focus on the policies and management of other institutions that appear effective and successful. Every institution has different needs and objectives, so policies and management in each school will also differ and should be tailored to their respective needs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine Teachers' Creativity in Making Thematic Learning Media for grade III MIS Roudhotul Ulum Parit Setia, Jawai District, Academic Year 2023-2024. This research uses a qualitative approach and a qualitative descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that: 1) How teachers make media in Grade III thematic learning MIS Roudhotul Ulum Parit Setia Academic Year 2023-2024, Determining learning objectives, Analyzing learning materials, Paying attention to students' needs and interests, Using various sources such as images, videos, etc. 2) The problems faced by teachers in creating thematic learning media for Class III MIS Roudhotul Ulum Parit Setia for the 2023-2024 Academic Year are as follows: Limited time, Limited resources such as technological devices, Limited school budget. The way teachers evaluate the application of media in thematic learning for Class III MIS Roudhotul Ulum Parit Setia for the 2023-2024 Academic Year is as follows: Adjusted to the type of learning, education level, and needs of students, Evaluation method: Direct observation of student involvement and response, Test before and after media use to see the impact on understanding.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the physical, psychomotor, cognitive, social, emotional, moral and spiritual development of 6th grade elementary school children. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. The object of the research is a 6th grade elementary school child named Zahwa Asyifa. Zahwa's development has been quite good in various aspects. First, his physical and psychomotor development has shown good progress. Second, in terms of emotions, Zahwa can control her emotions well, although sometimes she can get angry if she continues to be disturbed. Third, in terms of social development, Zahwa tends to prefer being alone at home and socializing less with her friends. Fourth, Zahwa's cognitive development is very good, as evidenced by the high scores she obtained, especially in mathematics. Lastly, in spiritual development, Zahwa has shown progress, even though sometimes his prayers are missed, especially at midday prayer time which coincides with coming home from school and at evening time which is often late after doing his homework.

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago through a literature review of the process, the role of key figures, and models of cultural acculturation. Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago took place gradually through various channels, such as trade, education, politics, and the arts, each of which exhibited diflerent characteristics in each region. The central role of key figures, such as saints, scholars, and sultans, was crucial in integrating Islamic teachings into local social and cultural structures, thereby accelerating the acceptance of Islam among the people. Adaptive acculturation strategies enabled the harmonisation of Islamic values with pre-Islamic traditions, resulting in a distinctive, moderate, and inclusive form of Islam. These findings confirm that the Islamisation process in the Nusantara region not only brought about religious changes but also shaped the cultural and social identity of Indonesian society to this day.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of educational psychology for educators in improving the quality of learning. The problem faced by educators today is a lack of understanding of educational psychology which can affect the quality of learning. The aim of this research is to determine the benefits of educational psychology for educators in improving the quality of learning. The research method used is literature study by analyzing various relevant literature sources. The research results show that educational psychology has significant benefits for educators in improving the quality of learning, namely increasing educators' ability to understand student behavior and needs, increasing learning effectiveness, and improving the quality of relationships between educators and students.

Abstract

Refers to students' lack of understanding of good communication ethics due to various factors. This research aims to design and develop flashcard learning media to increase awareness of communication ethics in class VI students at SDI Assalam, as well as determine the suitability of the flashcard products that have been produced so that they are suitable for use in learning Communication Ethics. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. The development process includes needs analysis, design, development, implementation and media evaluation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires, expert validation, and documentation. Expert validation was carried out by 3 media experts and 1 material expert. The media developed was tested by 11 students. Sampling was carried out using the Non-Probability Sampling technique.

Abstract

Quasi-experimental research is a research method used to measure the effect of a particular treatment on a variable without using full subject randomization. This method is often used in situations where full control of external variables is difficult, such as in educational, social, or health settings. Quasi- experimental research designs involve a treatment group and a control group, but the subjects in both groups are not selected randomly. There are several types of designs in quasi-experiments, such as nonequivalent control group design, time series design, and pretest-posttest design. The main advantage of quasi-experiments is their flexibility in real-world situations, allowing researchers to test causal relationships in a more natural environment. However, this method has the disadvantage of potential threats to internal validity, such as selection bias and the influence of external variables. Therefore, data analysis in quasi-experiments requires special attention to control these factors, such as the use of analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) or other statistical methods. Quasi-experimental research is very relevant in developing policies or interventions that can be practically implemented in society. With a good design, this method is able to produce valid and useful findings for evidence-based decision making.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to identify the learning facilities used to support the process of learning the Qur'an and Hadith at Jongkong 1 Public Primary School. (2) To determine how teachers utilise learning facilities to support the process of learning the Qur'an and Hadith at Jongkong 1 Public Elementary School. (3) To identify obstacles in utilising learning facilities to support the process of learning the Qur'an and Hadith at Jongkong 1 Public Elementary School. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The facilities have been utilised well and appropriately in supporting the Al-Qur'an Hadith learning process, but there are still several obstacles faced by Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in using learning facilities. These obstacles can be overcome with other facilities and the creativity of Al-Qur'an Hadith subject teachers. Other obstacles experienced by teachers in utilising learning facilities at school are more related to the situation and conditions, especially for learning rooms and libraries. Facilities that can support Al- Qur'an Hadith learning include the school library and prayer room

Abstract

Moral development is an educational or development process that aims to shape and improve an individual's behavior, morality and ethical values so that they conform to the moral standards recognized in a particular culture or ethical system. Moral development is an important part in the formation of a society that behaves well and justly and is an integral aspect in many ethical, religious and philosophical systems. It aims to create individuals who are able to make wise decisions, act with integrity, and contribute positively to society. In Islam, moral development is very much needed, especially nowadays, many people have deviated from Islamic teachings. Therefore, moral development must be instilled as early as possible so that a person's moral character is inherent in him. Noble morals will make people happy in their lives, and vice versa. In another sense, moral development in Islam does not conflict with each other but complements each other, namely traits that are deeply embedded in the soul which appear in outward actions that are carried out easily, without requiring any further thought and have become a habit.

Abstract

Al-Ghazali's thoughts on Islamic education are highly relevant to modern education today and can serve as a reference in shaping individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and have noble character. He emphasises the importance of balance between intellectual and spiritual aspects in the learning process. Education should not only focus on academic knowledge, but also on shaping the character and soul of students. Al-Ghazali's spiritual experience is also reflected in two main points that he puts forward as the ultimate goals of education, namely the achievement of human perfection that leads to closeness to Allah and human perfection that leads to happiness in this world and the hereafter. Meanwhile, according to al-Ghazali, the education curriculum classifies several parts: (1) syar'iyah (religious) and 'aqliyah (rational/intellectual) knowledge, as well as ghairu syar'iyah (non-religious) knowledge, whether it is praiseworthy (mahmud), permissible (mubah), or despicable (madzmum); (2) theoretical and practical knowledge; (3) hudhuri (present) knowledge and hushuli (acquired) knowledge; and (4) fardhu 'ain knowledge and fardhu kifayah knowledge. Al-Ghazali's classification of knowledge does not mean that he rejects the importance of studying all kinds of knowledge. Al-Ghazali only emphasises the need for humans to prioritise education by placing religious knowledge in the most urgent position
