Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of learning in the Society 5.0 era by highlighting the challenges faced by teachers and identifying strategies to improve the quality of education. The Society 5.0 era is characterized by the integration of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things, which are oriented toward human-centered development. In the educational context, this transformation requires innovative learning approaches that focus not only on knowledge transfer but also on the development of 21st-century skills. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were collected from various sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant research reports, and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that teachers face several challenges, including low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, changing characteristics of students, and high administrative workloads. To address these challenges, several strategies are needed, such as enhancing teachers’ digital competencies, implementing innovative learning models, strengthening character education, and fostering collaboration and adaptability. In conclusion, learning transformation in the Society 5.0 era requires teachers to be well-prepared in integrating technology with appropriate pedagogical approaches in order to create effective, innovative, and character-oriented learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze innovations in the implementation of Fiqh learning strategies in Islamic educational institutions. In the context of Fiqh education, adapting teaching approaches to social and cultural dynamics is essential to ensure that students can understand and apply Islamic teachings in a relevant manner. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design focused on a State Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri) in Kapuas Regency. The informants in this study consisted of one principal, five Fiqh teachers, and twenty students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data collection techniques involved interviews with teachers, students, and the principal to explore their perspectives on the implementation of Fiqh learning strategies. Classroom observations were conducted to analyze interactions between teachers and students as well as the methods used. In addition, relevant documents such as lesson plans, syllabi, and teaching materials were also collected. Data obtained from interviews and observations were analyzed using thematic analysis methods, including interview transcription, identification of key themes, and data coding. Conclusions were drawn based on the themes identified. The results of the study indicate that Fiqh learning integrated with technology, such as digital media and online learning platforms, has a positive impact on student engagement. Project-based strategies and group discussions are effective in enhancing interaction between students and teachers, as well as helping students understand Fiqh material in a more practical context. The implementation of formative assessment and continuous evaluation has been proven to significantly improve students’ understanding. The findings highlight the use of applications and e-learning platforms in Fiqh learning, as well as the application of project-based and discussion methods as effective strategies. This study also recommends continuous professional development for teachers, improvement of infrastructure such as internet access and technological devices, and the development of adaptive content relevant to contemporary issues to make Fiqh learning more engaging for students. A collaborative environment that supports interaction between students and teachers needs to be facilitated, while continuous evaluation, including technology-based formative assessment, should be optimized to provide fast and accurate feedback, thereby encouraging continuous improvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of humanistic learning theory in Christian Religious Education (CRE) as an effort to form Christian character. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study design, through the review of various sources such as books, journals, and relevant theological references. The findings indicate that humanistic principles such as self-actualization, freedom to learn, student-centered learning, and empathetic teacher–student relationships play an important role in supporting character formation. This integration enables CRE learning to go beyond the transfer of biblical knowledge by also fostering balanced cognitive, emotional, and spiritual development. As a result, Christian values such as love, responsibility, and humility can be internalized in students’ lives. This study affirms that humanistic and integrated CRE learning can produce real changes in students’ attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to an increasing use of gadgets among early childhood in daily life. This condition brings both positive and negative impacts on child development, thus requiring active parental involvement in supervision. This study aims to examine the role of parents in controlling gadget use in relation to the formation of early childhood character through a literature review approach. The method used is qualitative with a literature study design, by analyzing various relevant sources such as books and scientific journals. The findings show that parents play an essential role in controlling gadget use through time limitation, accompaniment, content selection, and the implementation of family rules. Effective control contributes to the development of children’s character, particularly in discipline, responsibility, and empathy. Therefore, parental involvement is a key factor in directing gadget use to positively support early childhood character development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the formation of students’ character through a psychological approach in schools using a literature review method. The discussion focuses on the concept of character, relevant psychological theories, and their implementation in the educational process. The findings indicate that character formation is influenced by both internal and external factors and requires the active role of teachers as role models, guides, and facilitators. Psychological approaches, such as habituation of positive behavior, motivation, and emotional support, have proven effective in supporting students’ character development. However, several challenges remain, including lack of consistency, external environmental influences, and limited parental involvement. Therefore, continuous collaboration among schools, families, and the community is needed to create an educational process that not only emphasizes academic achievement but also fosters holistic character development.

Abstract

The implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) to improve the quality of education in schools is a model of educational management approach that provides schools with greater autonomy or independence in decision-making, involving all stakeholders such as principals, teachers, students, parents, and the community. This is compared to the previous centralized educational management paradigm that has long been in place, often making schools less responsive to local needs and the characteristics of individual students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Fiqh learning and its impact on students’ understanding and skills. Fiqh learning, which is usually focused on memorization and lectures, needs to be improved to become more contextual, practical, and meaningful. The PjBL model offers a learning approach that involves students actively through projects that are related to their daily lives. In this process, students are guided to study, plan, and create products or solutions related to Fiqh topics, such as worship practices, muamalah, and the application of Islamic law in social life. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the learning process and the results. The findings show that the use of PjBL in Fiqh learning can improve students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and responsibility. In addition, the learning process becomes more interesting and relevant to real life. Therefore, the PjBL model can be an innovative alternative to improve the quality of Fiqh learning in educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the basic concept of educational communication in paedagogical and andragogical learning processes. Educational communication plays an important role in learning activities because it serves as a bridge between educators and learners in conveying knowledge, values, and skills. The achievement of learning objectives is greatly influenced by the quality of communication that occurs during the teaching and learning process. As social beings, humans need communication to exchange information, build shared understanding, and establish positive social relationships. In the context of education, communication is not only used to deliver learning materials but also functions as a means of shaping students’ character and personality. This research uses a literature study method by reviewing various sources such as scientific journals, articles, and other relevant references. The results of the study show that communication is an inseparable part of the educational process. Therefore, educators need to convey learning messages clearly, simply, and in ways that are easy for learners to understand so that the learning process can run effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to explore innovations in Islamic education curriculum development in overcoming ethical challenges at Markazul Quran Bukittinggi and the role of teachers in developing a responsive curriculum at Markazul Quran Bukittin. Innovation in curriculum development is considered a key parameter for assessing the success and quality of Islamic religious education in overcoming the technological ethical dilemmas faced by students. It is necessary to remember that the curriculum is a dynamic entity that is always developing, keeping up with the times and the needs of society. Therefore, an educational institution which is part of society must always see the development of society as a source of learning as a consideration in preparing the curriculum development of its institution or institutions, understanding the use of social media, digital security, and the impact of technology on Islamic values ( Hadith and Al-Quran). The method that the author uses in research is library research. The results of this research show that innovative Islamic religious education curriculum development can overcome the challenges of student education at Markazul Quran Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of students. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems related to integer operations in the fourth-grade class at SDN 2 Klaling. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data were obtained using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. fourth-grade teachers at SDN 2 Klaling, and secondary data in the form of books, journals, documentation, and references about students' problems in the integer operations material. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study uses the interactive data analysis model of Miles & Huberman, which explains that interactive data analysis techniques consist of three components: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that students still have difficulty understanding the meaning of symbols and parentheses when working on integer division problems. Students also experience difficulties in operating numbers with negative signs in the material on subtraction and addition of integers. The difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts are due to both internal and external factors.
