Abstract

The use of technology in learning at SMK Pembangunan has shown a significant impact on improving student achievement through various innovations in instructional media. Technology, from online platforms to interactive simulations, has opened up opportunities for more engaging, eflective, and student-centered learning. The impact is not only evident in understanding the material and practical skills but also in students' learning motivation. However, to achieve maximum eflectiveness, continuous development in teacher skills, technology access, and integration of technology into the curriculum are needed. With these measures, it is hoped that SMK Pembangunan can create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, preparing students to face the challenges of the digital era workforce.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of bullying on student self-confidence in the Negri 2 Tiratan Kaman School. The research method used is a qualitative approach using case studies. To obtain comprehensive data, the information gathering approach is carried out by conducting interviews with perpetrators and victims of bullying. This method of observation is used to look more closely at the impact of bullying behaviour on student self-confidence. The study found signs of repression, including more than just repression.Verbal expressions like slander, comments that underestimate physical deprivation, and insult parents. Research shows that obviously repressive incidents have a negative impact on student self-confidence, thereby lowering overall self- esteem. A thorough study of the various forms of bullying that occurred in Negri 2 Tiratan Kaman High School will help us understand the consequences that students may experience in responding to such behavior, especially the negative consequences of a significant decrease in self-confidence to the base

Abstract

Language is very important in communication. Language becomes one of the foundations for achieving success in creating good communication. Therefore, skills in using languages are very influential and become a special concern in language learning. Speaking is part of English lessons both at the elementary level to the college level at the moment. The development and acceleration of technology also requires everyone to be able to communicate and speak internationally, in this case English well and smoothly. However, there are some barriers to applying English language skills especially to students at a college. The factor of confidence and courage is a student’s self-image in implementing the ability to speak English in the classroom and the surrounding environment. While in the assessment of English speaking skills, students need to have vocabulary knowledge, grammar, fluency, accents, and understanding. The aim of this study is to analyze and know the relationship of confidence with English speaking skills in students of the 4th semester of Tadris English. The research method used is Qualitative Descriptive using survey data to students of the 4th semester of English.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the interactive lecture method in improving English language acquisition among primary school students in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the difference in learning outcomes between students taught using the interactive lecture method and students taught using conventional methods. The research method used was an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design, involving 20 fifth grade students who were divided into two groups: control and treatment. The results showed that the treatment group showed a significant increase in scores compared to the control group. The conclusion of the study underlines that the interactive lecture method is more effective in improving students' English proficiency. This study highlights the importance of using the interactive lecture method in English language teaching to improve students' learning outcomes, and suggests further research with larger samples and different treatment durations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the fun learning method on students' interest in learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muawanah 1 Barurejo, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The data collection methods used in this research are questionnaires, observation, documentation. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, use the Pearson Correlation formula to find the reliability of the data using the Cornbach Alpha formula. Then for hypothesis testing using the F test and T test, to test normality using the formula Kolmogrov-Smirnov. Data analysis uses linear regression analysis simple. The results of this research show that from these data, if interpreted using the test criteria, namely the results of the t test > t table, meaning 1.186> 0.682, then Ha is accepted, so the results of this research show that the fun learning method is classified as good. And if interpreted using the testing criteria, namely the results of the t test > t table, meaning 3.537 > 0.682, then Ha is accepted, so the results of this study show that interest in learning Arabic is classified as good. Then from the results linear regression test, it was found that the fun learning method (X) had a very weak influence on students' interest in learning Arabic (Y) at 4.1%, the remaining 95.9% was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

In the course of Soil Mechanics & Road Engineering, students only receive instruction from teachers and do not have the opportunity to learn freely or systematically. Therefore, the education system should be more interactive and engaging to enable students to learn more freely and systematically. Teachers should have the ability to make the material more interesting and influential so that students can understand it better. The method used is Literature Review, which involves collecting and analyzing data from various sources of literature, such as articles, books, slides, and internet information, is known as a literature review process. Literature review is used in road engineering education to support students' knowledge and skills. In the subject of Soil Mechanics & Road Engineering, the application of project-based learning with a constructivist approach is an appropriate choice. This approach enhances learning performance and helps students achieve their learning goals. According to the project, learning increases students' ability to solve transportation problems in the field, enhances their teamwork skills, increases their enthusiasm, and makes them more independent and creative. The use of project-based learning (PBL) models in the Soil Mechanics & Road Engineering course can help students improve academic quality, skills, and understanding of building construction. Project-based learning with a constructivist approach can improve students' learning performance and achieve learning goals. The project-based learning model has a positive effect on learning, such as making it easier for students to understand the material during learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of large assignments on the level of learning motivation of building engineering education students class of 2022. This study uses a quantitative research design with explanation and with the Generalized Framework for Observational Research Methods (G-from) method . The population of this study were all Jakarta State University Building Engineering Education students who had taken the Steel Structure 1 course in 2023, and the research sample was 30 students who were randomly selected. The results showed that there was a positive effect of giving large assignments on the level of student learning motivation. The effect is moderated by several factors, namely the type of large assignment, the difficulty of large assignments, the availability of resources, and lecturer support.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the use of wordwall learning media on interest in learning mathematics. The population in this study were class XI MIPA MAN 1 Pasaman students. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research model in the form of a design with nonequivalent group. Research data was obtained through questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data processing analysis uses a simple linear regression test and Independent T-Test. The results of the research based on percentage calculations found that students' interest in learning mathematics using the wordwall learning media was _, while in the control class students who were not treated using the wordwall learning media showed lower interest in learning in the mathematics learning process, namely _. In the hypothesis test using the independent T-Test, the significance value (sig.2 tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the wordwall learning media influences students' interest in learning mathematics at MAN 1 Pasaman

Abstract

Since its inception, an active learning approach has been used. More often, it is considered active interaction during the learning process when the teacher explains the material and listens to the students. The purpose of this section of the journal is to discuss active learning, including mind mapping, particularly in vocational high schools. The goal is to provide the best overview and examples of applied learning in schools. Descriptive analysis is the method of data analysis employed, and the findings of the study demonstrated that the learning objectives of students instructed in the mind map learning strategy were It is possible to conclude from the first technical drawing course of the Building Engineering Education study program that the mind mapping learning method outperforms the expository learning strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Christian counseling guidance model aimed at enhancing students' emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence has been recognized as a crucial factor in students' personal and academic success, and the Christian counseling guidance approach can significantly contribute to the holistic development of this aspect. In this study, a model is developed based on the principles of Christian theology and relevant counseling theories, with the goal of providing a solid foundation for enhancing students' emotional well-being. The research methods used include literature review, theological studies, as well as model testing and evaluation through qualitative approaches. The research findings indicate that the developed Christian counseling guidance model has great potential in strengthening students' emotional skills, improving interpersonal relationships, and enriching their spiritual dimension. The practical implications of this research lie in providing a comprehensive and meaningful framework for Christian counseling practitioners in guiding students towards balanced holistic growth. It is hoped that this research will make a valuable contribution to enriching the practice of Christian counseling guidance and enhancing students' overall quality of life.
