Abstract

Education is an important component for the progress of a country. The more adequate and developed education, the more advanced the society. Education and technology must be able to go hand in hand. In the digital era, the process of change and development certainly goes very fast. This process was initially marked by advances in technology which greatly influenced human life, including education or vocational education. Vocational education or vocational education is also known as vocational education at the SMK/MAK level, which is education at a high level which aims to prepare students to continue to higher levels of education and/or expand basic education, as well as to improve students' abilities to be able to develop themselves in line with the development of science, technology and the arts, so that they can enter the workforce and develop a professional attitude

Abstract

English Character formation in early childhood at RA Madigondo, Takeran, Magetan, is significantly supported by traditional games such as gobak sodor, congklak, and engklek. These games serve not only as entertainment but also as learning tools rich in moral and social values. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection instruments. The findings reveal that traditional games foster character values such as honesty, cooperation, responsibility, sportsmanship, and independence. The interactive learning process through games also reflects the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, including critical thinking, collaboration, and global diversity. Moreover, traditional games embody elements of local wisdom that are relevant to building children's identity and cultural character from an early age. Thus, the integration of traditional games into early childhood education proves to be effective in character development and in preserving national culture.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the role of Christian schools in shaping the Christian character of students through a case study approach. Education in Christian schools has a specific goal, namely to create a learning environment that reflects and integrates the values of the Christian religion into the daily lives of students. The primary focus of this research is on the role of teachers as role models and facilitators in the formation of Christian character, as well as the impact of religious activities on the development of the moral and spiritual aspects of students. The research method employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data is collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, school stafl, and students, as well as direct observations of religious activities at the school. Thematic data analysis is conducted to explore how the interaction between the components of Christian schools contributes to the formation of students' character. The results of the research are expected to provide in-depth insights into the role of Christian schools in the development of Christian character in students. The implications of this research include the potential application of eflective character education practices in Christian schools and contributions to further developments in the literature on Christian religious education.

Abstract

Education is a means to achieve human needs for social values, moral rules and other dimensions that support the development of an increasingly complex modern world. Thus, planning, maturation and quality control of educational programs must be prioritized. Curriculum planning is the ability to plan students' learning opportunities and all forms of learning experiences received to prepare students to achieve educational goals. What this article uses in writing is the eseach library. Data collection through various sources from books, articles or journals, and the results of previous research. Educational facilities and infrastructure are needed to support the teaching and learning process directly and indirectly. Considering the importance of curriculum planning in achieving optimal educational goals, all curriculum planning principles must be fulfilled in order to form a good curriculum that is in line with the needs of current developments

Abstract

The shift in values in social, cultural, and educational life is a phenomenon that has become the focus of attention in modern society. This article examines the significant changes in values that lead to cultural and educational transformation. The study uses a descriptive-analytical approach to describe the impact of value shifts in diflerent contexts. In social life, the shift in values is reflected in changes in the attitudes and behavior of society related to norms, ethics, and morality. Globalization, increasingly sophisticated technology, and communication have aflected how values are adopted and interpreted by individuals and groups. These changes can create imbalances in social relationships, create conflicts of values, and change the dynamics of interpersonal interactions. In a cultural context, the shift in values also aflects the identity and tradition of a group. Traditional values often compete with more individualistic and consumerist modern values. It could threaten the sustainability of local cultures and stimulate the search for new identities that reflect changes in the patterns of society's values. In education, value shifts have a significant impact on curricula, teaching methods, and educational goals. Modern education tends to emphasize technical capabilities and global understanding, while moral and character aspects are often overlooked. This can lead to a generation that may have extensive knowledge, but a lack of strong values. Therefore, the shift in values in social, cultural, and educational life poses a serious challenge inining valuable values within societies. Intelligent change eflorts in curriculum development, the promotion of positive values, and intercultural dialogue can help overcome conflicts of values and promote better understanding between diflerent generations. Awareness of this shift in values is vital to ensuring that societies can maintain valuable cultural and educational sustainability in the face of changing times.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that is very vulnerable to occurring in teenagers, which is now easier and more often done using electronic or digital tools. The aim of this research is to determine cyberbullying behavior with its impact and the factors that influence cyberbullying behavior in adolescents. The method used by researchers is the library research method, library study. The results of the research were carried out by analyzing journals related to cyberbullying in adolescents. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that Cyberbullying is an action carried out by a person or group of people against another individual via text messages, images/photos or videos that tend to be degrading and harassing. Apart from that, cyberbullying can have a serious impact on an individual's mental development, one of the negative impacts being low self-confidence. Feeling lonely and isolated from the surrounding environment. On the other hand, there are also internal factors, including; Internal behavior is related to the personality characteristics of the perpetrator who lacks empathy. The external factors are caused by the rapid development of technology, as well as the increasingly easy way for technology to provide open social media for teenagers.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of family literacy programs on elementary school children's academic achievement. Using a quantitative research method with a literature review approach, data were analyzed from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and online resources. The results of the literature review indicate that literacy plays a crucial role in developing children's abilities in reading, writing, and critical thinking. Challenges in improving children's literacy in Indonesia include the influence of rapid technological and informational advancements. Family literacy programs are considered as one of the solutions to enhance children's literacy, with parents playing a significant role in providing literacy stimulation from an early age. Program evaluation is conducted through rewards and sanctions, as well as through a nurturing and wise educational approach. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the importance of family literacy in supporting children's academic achievement in elementary school.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of using technology and innovative learning methods in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of learning at SMAN 11 Surabaya. The use of innovative learning offline is carried out with various creative strategies that have had a positive impact on student motivation, understanding, engagement, and learning ability. In addition, various learning methods also help teachers in achieving learning objectives optimally, but funding constraints that are not in accordance with the program schedule are the main obstacles in developing teacher professionalism in teaching. This research method uses a skinative approach by collecting primary data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The level of attendance and engagement at school, especially teacher discipline, is also an important factor affecting learning effectiveness. Although teacher attendance is relatively high, efforts to improve attendance and the quality of teacher professionalism need to be improved. Professional training organized periodically by schools is a strategy to help improve teachers' competencies, but funding constraints are still a major issue that needs to be addressed. Evaluation of teachers' job satisfaction is also an important aspect that needs to be considered in improving their motivation and performance in teaching students. Support from various parties is needed including school administrators, teachers and TU staff

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools requires significant changes in teaching methods, one of which is the integration of technology. This article aims to analyze the role of technology in supporting the learning process in the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in terms of assessment, collaboration, and the development of 21st-century skills. This research analyzes the role of technology in the learning of the Merdeka Curriculum conducted at SDN 06 Belantik, Siak Regency. Using descriptive methods and a qualitative approach, data were collected through the completion of questionnaires by 3 (three) teachers via Googleform. Research results show that technology plays an important role in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum by facilitating the learning process, conducting formative assessments, and increasing student engagement. However, despite that, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teacher capabilities, and internet access become significant obstacles. Students' acceptance of technology is also positive, increasing their interest and engagement in learning. Thus, continuous training, improvement of technological facilities to support effective learning in the digital era, as well as the utilization of available digital devices and cloud-based applications to address existing challenges, are necessary to achieve educational goals in line with the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Average Years of Schooling (RLS) in six Sumatra Provinces in 2023, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, and South Sumatra. RLS data were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods to provide a comprehensive picture of the condition of education in the region. The results of the analysis show that the average years of schooling of the population in these six provinces is 9.27 years, with a median of 9.145 years and a mode of 8.52 years. The standard deviation of 1.297 years indicates moderate variation in the data, while the skewness of 0.343 indicates a slightly right- skewed distribution of the data. The kurtosis of -0.165 indicates a distribution that is flatter than a normal distribution. These results provide important information for education planning and policy making in Sumatra. It is suggested that utilizing more sophisticated technology and statistical software can improve the accuracy and efficiency of data processing.
