Abstract

In today’s era, many eldery people live alone at home, they don’t want to live in nursing home or live with their children because they feel more comfortable living in their own home. The findings of this research show that many eldery people find happiness even though they live alone at home. This research discusses eldery people who live alone at home in interpreting the meaning of happiness in their remaining years. This research uses a type qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which is carried out to understand a phenomenon with relatively similiar characteristics. Respondent involved in this research used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used interview and observation of 3 eldery people in RT 01,RW 10, Sanan Wetan Blitar jawa Timur. The results of this research show that even though the subject are eldery and live at home alone, they feel happy because they are healthy and some are still able to earn a living, have peers, and active in social life.

Abstract

The research focuses examined in this study are: 1) How is the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 3 LimaPuluhKota in the 2023/2024 academic year? 2) How is the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 3 LimaPuluhKota in the academic year 2023/2024? The objectives of this study are: 1) describe the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 3 LimaPuluhKota in the 2023/2024 academic year. 2) describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 3 LimaPuluhKota in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a type of case study research. While data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used according to Miles Huberman's theory, namely: Data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity in this study uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study are 1) the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 3 LimaPuluhKota: students are asked to study the material at home first, students are asked to review the material that has been learned by raising their hands to scramble scores, students are told to memorize surah verses or hadith. The process of memorizing 2 to 3 times, then depositing the memorization. 2) Effective to motivate students to be active in learning. Those who previously stuttered in reading, memorizing and reviewing the teaching material that had been delivered by the teacher then they became more confident, and fluent. besides that they also have a strong enough memory

Abstract

This research is motivated by current students, especially at the high school level, where there are still students who are passive and have not been able to develop critical thinking in the learning process. If they are not trained starting from now, it will be difficult in the future when they grow up and are involved. in the world of work. So, many parents are now taking their children to do additional study outside of school to broaden their children's insight and abilities and hone their children's abilities more deeply. However, all learning activities in class are still said to be less than optimal, especially in terms of maximizing learning time which is less effective. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' critical thinking abilities in learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, as well as to determine the factors that inhibit and support learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is descriptive interpretative. The results of the research show that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model really helps students understand the learning material. One of the things that supports learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is the supporting media used, while the inhibiting factor in learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is the lack of time in carrying out the learning process.

Abstract

The professional competence of basic education teachers plays an important role in the learning process in schools, and must always refer to actions that are rational and have certain specifications in carrying out their educational duties. Teachers as professional staff are required to have abilities and skills that are appropriate to the field they are working in, so that the process of growth and development of students' potential, which includes cognitive, affective, psychomotor and spiritual aspects, can run well and in accordance with the educational goals that have been set. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with critical discourse analysis and literature review methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that efforts to increase teacher professional competence can be carried out through the following steps: first, efforts made by basic education teachers to increase their professional competence, including: attending teacher upgrading, training, national or international seminars, and teacher deliberations field of study, increasing knowledge through mass or electronic media, and professional advancement through independent study; and second, the efforts made by school principals to increase the professional competence of basic education teachers, including: empowering to increase the professionalism of basic education teachers through collaboration with advanced and developing basic education institutions, providing opportunities for basic education teachers to improve their profession, encouraging teacher involvement basic education in every school education activity (participatory), and increasing the knowledge of basic education teachers through deliberation, both among material teachers and as a whole.

Abstract

Vocational Building Engineering Education plays a crucial role in producing skilled workforce required in the construction industry. In this digital era, traditional teaching methods are no longer adequate. This article discusses the implementation of blended learning strategy in electrical installation competency in Vocational High Schools (SMK). By combining online and face-to-face learning, students can engage flexibly and actively. Abstract

Islamic education faces significant challenges in the millennial era, characterized by technological advancements and globalization. With their unique characteristics, the millennial generation requires a paradigm shift in Islamic education. This article discusses the necessary changes in crucial elements of Islamic education, such as vision, mission, goals, curriculum, and teaching methods, while preserving the values of the Quran and Hadith. Placing Islam as the primary perspective in education is crucial to understanding and integrating the spiritual values of Islam into the daily lives of the millennial generation. To remain relevant and contribute to building a civil society in Indonesia during the reform era, the reconstruction of the Islamic education paradigm must be done carefully, blending tradition with contemporary developments.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the development of Islamic educational institutions through the challenging struggles of the Indonesian people throughout Indonesia's history. During the colonial period, the Dutch openly employed various methods to suppress Islamic education, which, at that time, took the form of Madrasah and Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren). This led to the emergence of a dichotomy referring to a significant division or difference between institutions of education recognized and supported by the Dutch colonial government, which tended to follow Western education systems, and traditional Islamic educational institutions such as pesantren and madrasah, which focused on Islamic education. The research method employed in this study is literature review, involving the collection of various sources on the development of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The findings of this research can contribute to the literature on educational studies, particularly in the context of Islamic education. This information can serve as a reference for further research on the development of education in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that Madrasah, as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, also underwent a long journey, with Dutch colonialism exerting pressure to weaken the education system in Madrasah

Abstract

Education is guidance given by adults to immature people to achieve a goal, namely maturity. Education is also defined as a conscious effort to develop the personality and abilities of students inside and outside school and lasts a lifetime. In order to survive, humans need education, because with education humans can develop all the potential they have. What is meant by potential is the ability or strength possessed by an individual. Meanwhile, genetic potential is the main ability of humans which can be a reference in designing the future or which things should be chosen according to our respective potential. To find out this potential, a test called the STIFIn test is carried out. The STIFIn concept can be used to help recognize our potential, apart from that, the STIFIn test can also be used to find out how a person's character is formed. In educational activities, the STIFIn test has certain benefits, starting from helping teachers in determining models, methods, learning evaluations, and so on. The aim of this research is to find out what are the benefits of the STIFIn test in educational activities, especially learning at SD IT Madani 2 Payakumbuh. Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to explain the meaning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT); (2) explain the importance of using ICT in Mathematics Learning; (3) describe how much ICT is used in Mathematics Learning in Indonesia; (4) describes the positive and negative impacts of applying ICT in Mathematics learning. The method used is a literature review and descriptive interviews with educators and students in the field of mathematics education. Information and Communication Technology is electronic equipment consisting of hardware and software as well as all activities related to processing, manipulation, management and transfer of information between media. Its function is to produce quality and communicative information. In Indonesia, the use of Information and Communication Technology is still at the level of integration, which is shown by the use of technology in learning. The use of information technology, apart from being an effort to overcome technical problems of learning as a learning medium, is also an effort to answer substantial problems of learning as a teaching resource and encourage the acceleration of computer literacy in Indonesian society. This article aims to discuss the effectiveness of online-based mathematics learning (E-learning) on student learning achievement. So the development of education today is influenced by the rapid progress of information and communication technology. One of the information technologies that plays a role in the world of education is online learning (E-learning). Online learning (E-learning) functions as a link between educators and students using electronics and internet networks that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Abstract

This service is entitled Literacy Assistance for children through word board media at SDK Kekajodho. The purpose of this service is to introduce the concept of words to children to improve literacy through word board media. The methods used methods used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the this assistance shows that this media assistance carried out by Teaching Campus students is able to improve students' literacy Teaching Campus students are able to improve students' literacy. Interview results interview results also show that using word board media is very effective for children because it is a direct teaching tool that can be displayed or used by students. children because it is a direct teaching aid that can be shown or shown to children and can be shown to children and can help children recognise words and improve literacy. Word boards can also can improve children's ability to recognise and distinguish letters.
