Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies used by teachers to realize the Pancasila Student Profile which is reflected in character education. The objectives of this research are: 1). know how to implement the Pancasila Student Profile, 2). knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Pancasila Student Profile. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative which describes teachers' strategies for realizing the Pancasila Student Profile which can be reflected in character education. The data collection techniques used were observation and literature review. The results of this research are that there are 2 strategies used by teachers to realize the Pancasila Student Profile which can be reflected in the character education of students which consists of implementing P5 (Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project) and habituation activities. This topic is interesting and important because this program has great hopes in improving the character and competency skills of students in educational units in accordance with the 6 characteristics of the Pancasila student profile as follows: Faith and devotion to God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence , creative and critical reasoning.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian language is closely related to language skills including; listening, speaking, reading and writing. An Indonesian language education teacher is expected to be able to teach and train students in their mastery of language skills that are useful in social life. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability and skills of writing recon texts in class X². This Classroom Action Research focuses on efforts to improve the ability to write recon texts through the Teaching at the Right Level approach, recon texts are texts that make an experience, either one's own experience or that of others by paying attention to the systematic writing in recon texts and understanding the types of recon texts including; factual recon texts, inspirational recon texts, and imaginative recon texts. Efforts to improve students' writing skills aim to achieve learning outcomes in writing elements through an attitude assessment process including independence, mutual cooperation, and critical reasoning in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum. The target subjects of the study were class X² in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research method with research design is Collaborative Classroom Action Research and Qualitative Descriptive, data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of this study show an increase in the ability to write recon text successfully through the Teaching at the Right Level approach with interactive media from cycle I with a result of 82.19 and cycle II with a result of 84.09.

Abstract

The digital era has brought various innovations in all aspects of life, including in the world of education. The integration of technology in the learning system in madrasah is a necessity that cannot be ignored to prepare students to face future challenges. This paper explores how madrasahs can implement technology in the teaching and learning process, ranging from the use of hardware and software, online learning platforms, to educational applications. The research method used is literature review. The results show the importance of technology integration in learning in madrasahs to improve the quality of education and prepare students adequately for the digital era. Despite the challenges, collaboration among education stakeholders is considered crucial in ensuring a successful transition to a technology-based learning system, which in turn will shape a more innovative, interactive learning environment that supports students' overall development

Abstract

The main aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive picture of the potential and problems associated with this educational transition, as well as a basis for developing educational policies that are responsive to contemporary demands. This research will adopt a qualitative approach by relying on literature analysis as the main methodology. This approach was chosen to understand in depth the impact of educational transformation in the digital era on the traditional role of teachers, as well as to identify emerging challenges and opportunities. Education has undergone a major transformation with the advent of the digital era, which has changed the traditional learning paradigm into a more dynamic and connected environment. While this creates many opportunities, it also creates a number of challenges that must be overcome so that everyone can benefit equally from this transformation. Designing more meaningful learning experiences is possible through the use of artificial intelligence, project-based learning methodologies, and international collaboration. The transformation of education in the digital era can be the basis for developing an inclusive and creative learning environment that is in line with today's expectations if we are aware of these problems and have the ability to exploit these opportunities.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum involves teachers, because teachers are the main actors in implementing the curriculum. This article aims to explain teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the independent curriculum at Raudhatul Athfal Swasta Harapan Bandar Pulo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Research data collection techniques by conducting unstructured interviews. The respondents are class teachers. The research results show that: (1) Teachers support the Independent Learning Curriculum; (2) Training and socialization regarding the Independent Learning Curriculum has not been carried out optimally; (3) The changes experienced by teachers lie in students becoming active and increasing the sense of mutual cooperation due to project-based learning; (4) The teacher's obstacle in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum lies in the administration system

Abstract

The development of PUKIF (Creative Puzle) learning media for Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah students can significantly improve learning outcomes and student engagement. However, it is still little developed for civic education learning in madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. . This study aims to develop the design and test the feasibility of PUKIF (Creative Puzzle) learning media. This research involved 29 students of class II-D MIN 1 Kota Kediri for the trial. This type of research and development in this study is using Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design¸ Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The instruments in this study are interviews, observations, documentation, questionnaires for material and media expert assessments, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that (1) the validation results of 2 media experts showed that the learning media was suitable for use in the learning process with an average score of 3.8 and 3.8 from the score range of 3.25 ≤ ¯x ≤ 4.00, While the results of the operational field trial show that the learning media is feasible to use in the learning process with an average score of 1.93, the score range is 1 < ¯x ≤ 2. For further research, researchers should compare the effectiveness of PUKIF with other existing learning media, such as flashcards, educational games, or other interactive learning methods.

Abstract

The term students are interpreted as people (children) who are following the process of educational activities or teaching and learning processes to grow and develop their potential, so in Arabic literature that is often used by Islamic education leaders, among others, they are found with the names: mutarabby, muta'allim, muta'addib, daaris, student. First, the word mutarabby implies as a person who is being targeted as a target to be educated in the sense of being created, maintained, regulated, managed, repaired through educational activities carried out together with murabby educators.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus is endemic and has become the main focus of various countries. The Covid-19 virus has infected millions of people in the world, including Indonesia. Not only the impact in the health sector, but the Covid-19 virus has also had many impacts on the joints of human life. The Covid-19 virus has triggered chaos in various fields of life globally, including the field of education. Gathering activities in order to gain knowledge together, is not recommended to be held. In fact, many countries eliminate face-to-face learning, and replace it with online learning. This policy was implemented to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In line with these efforts, the campus as a place to forge itself with knowledge, also needs a strategy to help reduce the spread of Covid-19. Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the campus environment will be in line with the government's appeal, namely to organize online learning at home. Online learning gives birth to logical consequences, for the perpetrators, both for students and teachers. On the one hand, online learning is an alternative to reduce the possibility of crowding, but online learning also creates challenges to present material in a manner that is able to accommodate scientific demands. Despite the challenges, online learning is definitely expected to foster an attitude of optimism, provide challenges and opportunities to develop innovation, creativity, capacity, personality, and student needs. The solution, lecturers are required to have the ability in the field of learning technology. Another logical consequence is that higher education leaders must be active in optimizing the performance of using online facilities for all lecturers, students, and education staff.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors that are influencing students in choosing Department of Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Riau University. The independent variables of this study are actors, resources and norms, and the dependent variable is students’ decision in choosing Department of Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Riau University. The data used in this study is primary data collected directly from students of Department of Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Riau University. The Analytical method used is quantitative method and analyzed by correlation using SPSS 22 for Windows. The result of data analysis shows resources have an insignificant negative effect with a very low level of correlation to students’ decisions to choose Department of Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Riau University, meanwhile norms have a significant positive effect with a low level of correlation to students’ decision to choose Department of Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Riau University

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of early reading skills in second grade students at SD YPK Bukit Sion Kuadas. The purpose was to determine the early reading ability of the students in that school. The approach was descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data collection steps such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the students' early reading ability was: students have difficulty identifying letters, changing words, pronouncing wrong words, stammering spelling, not understanding the contents of the reading, and having difficulty concentrating. The external factors that became the results of this study was the parents of students, they still lacked retraining at home to read. The student tends not to progress which results in the students not being able to read fluently. The role of parents in guiding in learning to read is very influential in improving children's early reading skills. The habit of learning to read should be more applied at home with simple methods in teaching, for example by using a short story book, or using colored alphabet cards as the teaching medium
