Abstract

This research explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation on industrial transformation through a comprehensive literature review. The findings show that AI and automation have the potential to improve operational efficiency, productivity and innovation across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, services, healthcare and finance. However, the application of these technologies presents significant challenges, such as the reduction of traditional employment, the need to develop new skills, and ethical and data security issues. The study highlights the importance of investment in technology infrastructure, workforce training, and organisational culture adaptation to reap the maximum benefits of AI and automation. In addition, mitigation strategies and the formation of strategic partnerships are recommended to overcome negative impacts and ensure the success of industrial transformation in the digital age.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach (Lestari & Ghaby, 2018). The data used in this study are primary data that researchers obtained from Financial Services Authority employees spread throughout Indonesia as many as 5000 employees. The data were obtained from an online questionnaire and analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool with the following hypothesis. The result in this article show the Education Level variable can have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Employee Performance because it is positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.045. This means that the higher the education of an employee, the more it can influence employees to be more careful in understanding superiors' directions, working intelligently, and solving every problem that exists well, which ultimately improves Employee Performance.. In the next line, the researcher's hypothesis can also be proven if the Training variable can strengthen the influence of the Education Level variable on Employee Performance because the direction of the relationship is positive and the ebrad is below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.021, which is more significant than direct testing of 0.05. Thus, the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted.

Abstract

The use of technology has transformed how students learn English, especially in the digital era. Understanding students' attitudes toward this shift is essential for enhancing their learning outcomes. This study examines the attitudes of fourth- semester English Department students at Gorontalo State University, focusing on cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects. A quantitative approach was applied by distributing close-ended questionnaires online using Google Forms. The data were analyzed based on the Three Component Attitude Model. The results show that students generally have a positive attitude toward English learning supported by technology. The cognitive aspect achieved the highest score (86%), highlighting students’ belief in the benefits of English for career opportunities and global communication. Meanwhile, the behavioral aspect also showed active participation in using digital platforms (79%). However, the affective aspect scored lower (73%), reflecting mixed feelings about the use of technology in learning. These findings suggest that while students are open to using technology, further efforts are needed to address emotional barriers and optimize engagement. Educators are encouraged to incorporate digital tools creatively to foster a more effective and enjoyable learning experience.

Abstract

Language proficiency is a critical skill, and understanding the dynamics of language exposure is fundamental to its acquisition. This research applied quantitative descriptive research aims to describe language exposure among 2021 English Department students at the English Language Education Study Program (ELESP), Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The study is guided by Magno's exposure framework, encompassing home, friends, school, and media. The background of the study highlights the importance of language exposure in language acquisition, with a specific focus on the four exposure types within the context of ELESP. The objectives centre on providing information about the language exposure experiences of the 2021 cohort, guided by these four exposure types. The methodology employs a quantitative descriptive approach, using surveys and written interviews. The practical significance of this study lies in its potential use as a resource for ELESP, offering insights into the effectiveness of their English language exposure across these four types. Theoretically, the research contributes to the academic discourse, serving as a learning resource for students of ELESP and offering a new perspective for future researchers in the same field.

Abstract

The concept behind meeting current sustainable development aims to meet needs without endangering the capacity of future generations to meet their own. In this sense, ensuring the achievement of sustainable development goals depends heavily on legislation. The application of sustainable development and its encouragement are greatly aided by the law. Through appropriate regulations, effective law enforcement, and the application of principles of justice, law can be a main pillar in achieving development objectives that prioritize not just economic advancement but also environmental preservation and social welfare for future generations. Overall, the role of law in sustainable development is crucial. Law not only regulates but also protects the rights of the community and the environment, and ensures that development is carried out in a sustainable and responsible manner. With a strong legal framework, Indonesia can achieve sustainable development goals that balance economic, social, and environmental needs.

Abstract

Prediabetes is a condition characterized by blood sugar levels that are higher than normal but have not yet reached the threshold for type 2 diabetes. Management of prediabetes through a regular exercise program is claimed to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. This literature research was carried out by reviewing various published empirical studies in health and medical journals in databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library. The studies analyzed were those that evaluated the effectiveness of a regular exercise program with a minimum duration of 12 weeks, and compared Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) scores, weight loss, and insulin sensitivity between intervention and control groups among individuals with prediabetes. Findings showed a significant reduction in HbA1c values, improved blood glucose control, and increased insulin sensitivity in individuals who underwent a regular exercise program compared to a control group who did not. It was identified that a combination of aerobic activity and resistance training provided the best benefit in reducing the risk of transition to type 2 diabetes. Regular physical activity plays an important role in combating the global increase in the incidence of type 2 diabetes, especially in individuals with prediabetes. Regularity and intensity of exercise are important factors in determining the success of the intervention. Based on the literature reviewed, a regular exercise program is effective in reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes in individuals with prediabetes. Recommendations for increasing the success of the intervention include creating individualized exercise programs, increasing awareness of the importance of physical activity, and support to maintain patient motivation.

Abstract

Computer education in higher education fosters sustainable innovation by equipping students with digital skills for problem-solving, creativity, and technological advancement. The research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of curriculum redesign, incorporating emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, and fostering practical skills essential for innovation. This study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population for the study comprised students, lecturers, and administrative staff from higher education institutions in Anambra State. A total sample size of 130 participants was selected using stratified random sampling to ensure representation from all key groups. To gather data, a structured questionnaire was used. Inferential analysis, specifically ANOVA, was conducted to identify and evaluate differences in perceptions among various demographic groups. In the post hoc multiple comparisons, the Scheffe and Tamhane tests were applied to evaluate significant differences between age groups regarding their perceptions. Findings indicate that the redesign of computer education curricula significantly impacts students' innovation capacity, with varying effects across different age groups. The study highlights the need for curriculum integration of hands-on, project-based learning, industry collaborations, and reliable technological infrastructure to foster an innovation-driven educational environment. The results suggest that a more inclusive and forward-thinking approach to computer education can greatly enhance sustainable innovation in Anambra's higher education institutions. Based on these findings, recommendations for curriculum reforms and educational policies are presented to better align computer education with the evolving demands of the digital economy.
