Abstract

The use of online shopping applications has become a predominant trend among the Indonesian population, presenting challenges and opportunities within the context of Islamic economics. This article discusses the challenges faced by users of online shopping applications from the perspective of Islamic economics in Indonesia, highlighting aspects such as Sharia compliance, transparency, and social responsibility. Challenges include the ambiguity of the halal status of products, uncertainty in transaction processes, and ethical issues related to promotions and advertisements. Simultaneously, this article identifies solutions that can be implemented to address these challenges. These solutions encompass the development of clear Sharia guidelines for online products and services, increased transparency in business processes, and enhanced awareness and education of the public regarding Islamic economic principles. The implementation of blockchain technology and Sharia-compliant payment mechanisms is also highlighted as potential solutions to improve trust and Sharia compliance within the online shopping ecosystem. Through this analysis, the article provides insights into how online shopping applications can be integrated with Islamic economic values, creating an ecosystem that is not only technologically innovative but also aligned with the principles of Islamic finance. Consequently, it is hoped that a more inclusive, transparent, and Sharia-compliant online shopping ecosystem can be established in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the partnership strategies implemented by PT. Sadhana Jember to enhance the economic status of tobacco farmers and the partnership patterns at PT. Sadhana Jember from the perspective of fiqh muamalah. The research methodology employed is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique utilized is qualitative data analysis employing triangulation methods including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that PT. Sadhana Jember's partnership strategy, known as the Core-Plasma pattern, prioritizes partners as the core and the company as the plasma. This strategy involves internal identification, partner selection, and agreement establishment. The welfare impacts encompass meeting basic needs and spiritual fulfillment, reflecting a comprehensive approach. From a fiqh muamalah standpoint, Mudharabah and Musyarakah financing models propel agricultural development, particularly in tobacco farming, instilling economic awareness and benefiting landowners through profit-sharing arrangements, consequently elevating their living standards.

Abstract

This study looks into the relationship between marketing performance, market research use, and digital marketing expertise in start-up businesses in Jakarta and West Java, Indonesia. The study uses Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to quantitatively analyze 175 surveyed start-ups and investigate the correlations between these important variables. The integration of descriptive statistics, a sturdy measurement model, hypothesis testing, and model fit evaluations results in a thorough comprehension of the dynamics in the start-up ecosystem. The findings emphasize how important it is to use market research and digital marketing expertise to influence marketing performance. The findings emphasize the necessity for a comprehensive approach to digital strategy and data- driven decision-making, with practical implications for training and development programs. The present study contributes to our comprehension of the intricate variables impacting marketing efficacy within the ever-changing Indonesian startup scene.

Abstract

The flow of labor migration indicates low employment opportunities in the country, thus encouraging them to trade in neighboring countries, which offer market opportunities that are more promising for prosperity. In this context, cross-border migration in border areas is seen as positive because it can reduce the problem of unemployment in the country and can improve the economic life of the community. Encourage increased productivity and innovation. Another thing that can happen to cross- border migration is that migration can create competition in the workforce. Workers may compete with the local workforce for low- paying jobs, this can result in pressure on wages and working conditions. The research was carried out using the literature study method. A literature review was used to collect data and information regarding the influence of cross-border migration on the labor market in border areas. This research discusses the definition of cross-border migration, the different styles and types of cross-border migration, the influence of cross-border migration on the labor market, and the factors that influence cross-border migration.

Abstract

In an ever-evolving information age, digitalization has reshaped the economic management landscape, opening up new opportunities while presenting a unique set of challenges. This literature review aims to explore the influence of digitalization on economic management theory and practice, highlighting the changes taking place in the way companies conduct their operations and interact with global markets. The study adopts an analytical approach to the existing literature according to the context of the research discussed. The results show that digitalization has catalyzed innovations in data collection and analysis, introduced automation and increased operational efficiency, and opened pathways for personalization of products and services. These factors have collectively enhanced companies' competitiveness and ability to operate on a global scale. However, these shifts also pose significant challenges, including cybersecurity concerns, the need for labor skills transfer, and the digital divide between different economic actors. Moreover, the findings emphasize the need for adaptive regulatory frameworks that can support cross-border cooperation while ensuring ethical and sustainable practices.

Abstract

The power utility industry is in the midst of transition driven by three global movements; de-carbonisation, de-centralisation and digitalisation. The 4.0 revolution direct the electricity environment is becoming more complex than ever before, with rapidly evolving disruptive technologies. This study is to assess empirically how such disruptive technology affect power utility industry. The three most disruptive technologies have been investigated; solar PV, battery energy storage and smart grid. Based on 336 engineers’ reviews from 118 business unit of Indonesia Electricity State Company, it is found that not all disruptive technology does negatively affect the firm performance. The customer pulls and digitalisation as the antecedents of the disruptive technology have been assessed. Instead of their negative impact, the firms can utilise certain disruptive innovation to be beneficial for their competitive advantages if they know a way to deal with it.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of organizational orientation rhetoric on fundraising success in the context of sustainable development. The research method used is literature. The results show that clear and insightful rhetoric can achieve organizational goals towards sustainable development and fundraising success. Organizations that successfully communicate their sustainable values and goals in an authentic and transparent way are more likely to attract support from committed donors. An effective communication strategy proves essential in building trust and creating awareness among stakeholders, both of which are key factors in securing financial and non-financial support. In addition, the implementation of technological innovations and utilization of social media as part of sustainability-oriented fundraising strategies adds to the effectiveness of such efforts, contributing to more significant and sustainable outcomes.

Abstract

Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is the most efficient instant payment method which is a collaboration product between Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI). Non- cash payments in the digital era have made Bank Indonesia innovate non-cash payment systems by promoting and socializing to the public about the Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS). The presence of QRIS can improve non-cash payment system services efficiently. QRIS has become an increasingly common technology used in electronic payments in Indonesia, and this research aims to understand how QRIS affects transaction patterns, customer convenience. Consumers are the parties who encourage the implementation of QRIS in transactions. A consumer is someone who buys goods or uses services. The public's enthusiasm for using QRIS is a momentum that can be used to accelerate the acceleration of QRIS. There is high interest from the Indonesian people, the majority of whom consist of the millennial generation, to be able to make digital payment transactions easily, quickly and safely. The many conveniences provided by QRIS make people carry out completely digital transactions. Of course there are advantages and disadvantages to using the QRIS payment method.

Abstract

PT. Bank Kalteng is one of the regional development banks that plays a crucial role in supporting economic growth in Central Kalimantan. The recruitment and placement processes of employees are crucial factors determining the effectiveness and efficiency of the bank's operations. In addition to recruitment and placement, compensation also plays a significant role in determining employee performance. This study aims to evaluate the impact of recruitment and placement on employee performance at PT. Bank Kalteng, with compensation as a mediating variable. The results indicate that recruitment and placement together significantly influence employee performance through the mediation of compensation. Recruitment also directly influences employee performance significantly with compensation as a mediator, as does placement. The analysis results show a path coefficient value of 0.196, a T-statistic value of 4.588, and a P-value of 0.022, indicating that the first hypothesis is accepted. This means that recruitment and placement together significantly affect employee performance through compensation mediation. These findings underscore the importance of effective recruitment and placement roles as well as adequate compensation in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

Education and training in the field of entrepreneurship are still considered to play an important role in strengthening the spirit of the young entrepreneur. The important role of education and training for the growth of entrepreneurial spirit. Various literature explains that the possession of entrepreneurial spirit is not merely due to an innate factor so that it automatically inherits in one's self, but can be formed and prepared through educational and training activities, so that one can become a tough entrepreneur. Therefore, to this day, various institutions of formal education have taught entrepreneurial education designed to equip young entrepreneurs so that they can become a successful entrepreneur. The research techniques that will be applied in this study include literature studies and library research, in which researchers use a range of literary sources to gather data for their investigations and employ a qualitative methodology due to the fact that the data generated by these sources takes the form of words or descriptions. The definition of young entrepreneurship, the function of education in fostering youth entrepreneurship, the function of training in fostering youth business development, and the connection between education and training in fostering young enterprise development are all covered in this study.
