Abstract

In facing the era of global competition, the government must be able to prepare qualified and reliable human resources. Preparing qualified and reliable human resources can be done through skills and entrepreneurship training. This study was conducted with the following objectives: 1) To determine the role of the village head in increasing the interest in entrepreneurship in the community in Sukaraja Village, Jerowaru District; 2) To determine the efforts of the Village Head in utilizing village assets as a source of community entrepreneurship in Sukaraja Village, Jerowaru District; and 3) To determine the influence of entrepreneurship on the success of MSMEs in Sukaraja Village, Jerowaru District. In addition, this study was conducted with the aim of identifying effective strategies that can be applied by the village head to stimulate interest in entrepreneurship at the village level. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation methods. The subjects of this study were the Head of Sukaraja Village, the Sukaraja Village Government and the Sukaraja Village Community. The results of this study indicate that the village head can play a key role in increasing interest in entrepreneurship by implementing various strategies, such as providing entrepreneurship training, facilitating access to resources, and forming partnerships with related institutions. In addition, active support in promoting local businesses and developing instructors who support entrepreneurship have also proven effective. This study contributes to further understanding of the role of village heads in supporting entrepreneurship development in Suakraja village, while also providing guidance for village governments in designing more effective policies in increasing community interest and involvement in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning. This study uses a qualitative research method with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of the study were class B teachers and the principal of PAUD Al-Ansori Jerowaru. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive qualitative data analysis with an interactive model from Bodgan which consists of three simultaneous activity paths: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. As a conclusion, the researcher can conclude regarding the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class B PAUD Al-Ansori Jerowaru, Jerowaru district, is that online learning is less effective because online learning for early childhood is like a compulsion. The advantage of online learning is that it trains students to not depend on teachers, students can seek answers to their curiosity from other parties such as parents, friends or siblings. Meanwhile, the disadvantages are uneven internet networks and expensive internet access.

Abstract

Early childhood education is essentially a form of education that focuses on laying the foundation for growth and development, including motor coordination (fine and gross), emotional intelligence, multiple intelligence and spiritual intelligence in accordance with the uniqueness and growth of early childhood. This study aims to explore the implications of the use of rewards and punishments in improving social-emotional skills in early childhood. In this study, researchers identified several positive implications of the use of appropriate rewards, namely; 1) fair and consistent rewards can increase children's self-esteem. 2) the use of rewards can encourage cooperation and build social skills needed for interaction with peers and adults. 3) appropriate rewards can reinforce desired behaviors, such as sharing, politeness, and emotional control. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data obtained by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis was carried out in four stages, namely; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show: 1) Internal and external environmental conditions of Hamzanwadi NW Bungtiang Kindergarten. 2) Teacher strategies in the implications of rewards and punishments in developing children's social emotions at Hamzanwadi NW Bungtiang Kindergarten. 3) Inhibiting factors in implementing rewards and punishments to students at Hamzanwadi NW Bungtiang Kindergarten.

Abstract

Early childhood is a group of children who are in a unique growth and development process. They have a specific growth and development pattern according to their growth and development level. This study aims to determine whether image media can improve the reading skills of early childhood in class B RA Bahrul Ulum NW Telaga Bagik. This study is a participatory Classroom Action (CAR) with the Kurt Lewin model design. The number of cycles used in the study was two cycles. Each cycle used two meetings. The subjects of the study were children in class B RA Bahrul Ulum NW Telaga Bagik consisting of 7 male students and 8 female students with a total of 15 students. Data were collected using an instrument in the form of an observation sheet with an assessment scale. The credibility test in this study used the participation extension examination technique. The data analyzed were the difference in value between cycle I and cycle II using a one-sample t-test with one-party testing criteria: namely the right side. The calculation results showed , namely 9.667> 1.761, these results indicate that Ha is accepted. In conclusion, image media can improve the reading skills of early childhood in class B RA Bahrul Ulum NW Telaga Bagik.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to analyze the non-major students’ speaking anxiety in language learning classroom. The subject of this research was the 2nd grade students of the study program of Islamic Educational Management (MPI) of STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok. This research investigated various categories of anxiety and their causal factors. The research utilized a case study feature. The data were collected through classroom interaction observations and interviews. The data were then analyzed and interpreted to answer the research questions. This research achieved two results related to the research questions. First, the researcher obtained three proven categories of anxiety such as Anxious Nature, Contextual Anxiety, and State Anxiety. The category of students’ speaking anxiety was based on Elis theory. Furthermore, the researcher gained three causal factors that brought up the students’ speaking anxiety such as Speech Anxiety, Exam Anxiety, and Dread of Negative Evaluation. The causal factors of students’ speaking anxiety was based on Horwitz theory. Additionally, pupils have speaking anxiety due to a lack of vocabulary and grammatical skills. Thus, on behalf of forcing the students to be more confident, eloquent, and disappear their anxiety to speak, lecturers should uplifting them by having brilliant approach and creativity in teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research investigated the utilization of mobile-assisted language to enhance students' writing skills. Conducting of the research was to improve student achievement in writing skills. This research was a classroom action research. The subjects were eighth-grade students in the High School of STIT Palapa. The procedure of the study consisted of two phases, namely the preliminary study and the action. In the preliminary study, information obtained was on the student’s problems, and in the action, the phases of action research presented in the classroom. Data collected were through observation, questionnaires, tests, and field notes. The data analyzed were quantitatively and qualitatively. The research result showed that using mobile support in language learning significantly improved students' writing skills. Before the implementation of the intervention, the mean score of students' writing achievement was 56; after the intervention, it was 78. The post-intervention score was higher than the pre-intervention score where the upper minimum completion criterion (KKM) for proficiency was 70 achieved by 25 students. The post-action success of MALL supported by several pieces of evidence were first, the use of MALL, students were motivated to learn English writing according to a lesson plan. Second, students focused on paying attention to the teacher's guide. Lastly, the material of the recount text designed was the juxtaposed pictures so that students found the idea of writing easily

Abstract

Traditional games have significant potential in developing students’ social skills; however, their application in formal education remains limited. This study is motivated by the importance of social interaction skills as essential competencies for students in communication, cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution. The traditional game selodor was selected because, in addition to its cultural value, it provides real opportunities for students to engage in meaningful interactions within an enjoyable and collaborative environment. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of 60 students from grades IV and V at SDN 1 Mamben Daya in the 2023/2024 academic year, with a purposive sample of 40 students equally divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument was a social interaction skills questionnaire covering communication, cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution, which had been validated and tested for reliability. Data were collected through a pretest, treatment involving six sessions of selodor, and a posttest, and then analyzed using the t-test at a 0.05 significance level. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ social interaction skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. These results indicate that the selodor game effectively enhances students’ abilities to build social relationships, manage differences, and actively participate in group activities.In conclusion, the study confirms that the traditional game selodor is effective as a pedagogical strategy for fostering social interaction skills among elementary school students. The implications highlight the need for teachers to integrate traditional games into classroom learning and extracurricular activities to strengthen students’ social competence and character development.

Abstract

Essentially, every child needs an education, as it allows them to develop their interests and talents. One way to develop these talents and interests is through formal or informal institutions. This research aims to find out the forms of physical bullying behavior at SD IT Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddia Keruak, to find out PAI teachers' strategies for dealing with physical bullying behavior at SD IT Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Keruak and to find out the obstacles and solutions in dealing with it. the problem of physical bullying among students. The methods used in data collection were the observation method, interview method and documentation method. Based on the data obtained, the following research results were found, namely forms of bullying carried out by children such as pushing a friend's body, kicking. hitting, etc. There are two strategies used by PAI teachers in dealing with physical bullying behavior, the first is by using a lecture strategy. namely providing direction and advice to students, second is using a punishment strategy, namely cleaning we and muraja'ah as well as other punishments which are carried out after negotiating with the school and the students' parents. In realizing this strategy PAI teachers encounter several obstacles starting from students who do not respond to advice from parents who do not understand children's behavior at school, teachers who set poor examples and there are no written rules from school regarding bullying. So the solution is to provide guidance to students continuously, inform parents about student activities well, teachers change behavior to be better and will discuss making rules against bullying with the school.

Abstract

Arabic, as one of the international languages ​​and the main religious language in the Islamic world, requires good mastery to be able to be used actively in various situations, both in social, academic and professional contexts. This study aims to determine the impact of the Arabic language program on the communication skills of children at the Dato' Rahmat Dasan Baru Bengkel Child Welfare Institution (LKSA), as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the program's implementation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Arabic language program can increase children's confidence in communicating, strengthen religious understanding, and encourage them to be more active. Supporting factors for the program's success include the children's enthusiasm, teacher commitment, and internal support from the institution. Inhibiting factors include limited facilities and infrastructure, limited learning time, and minimal parental involvement. In conclusion, the Arabic language program at LKSA Dato' Rahmat plays an important role in training children's communication skills effectively.

Abstract

Religious education is a fundamental aspect in shaping a child's character and morals. In this context, parents play a crucial role as their children's first and primary educators. This study aims to examine the role of parents in religious education at home and its influence on children's behavior in Pemongkong Village, Jerowaru District. The background of this research is based on the importance of the family as the first and foremost educational environment in shaping children's religious character. Parents are not only caretakers but also spiritual educators through example, habituation, and supervision. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving 30 parents and 30 children selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation via SPSS software, supported by qualitative data for deeper interpretation. The results show that the role of parents in religious education is categorized as high, and children’s behavior is generally good. The correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between the role of parents and children's behavior, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.701 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings are supported by interview and observation data indicating that religious habituation, communication, and parental modeling strongly influence children’s daily attitudes and behaviors. In conclusion, the role of parents in providing religious education at home significantly influences the formation of children's behavior. This study emphasizes the importance of active parental involvement in instilling Islamic values in children from an early age.
