ALKHIDMAH: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kemitraan Masyarakat is published by Islamic Sharia College Nurul Qarnain, Jember, East Java, Indonesia. The Journal Contains publications on the results of community service activities, models or concepts and or their implementation in the context of increasing community participation in development, community empowerment or the implementation of community service in the form of application of various fields of science including education, engineering, agriculture, social humanities, computers and health. <![CDATA[Nurul Jadid Senior High School (SMA NJ) is one of the schools under the auspices of the Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School. This institution not only emphasizes formal lessons but also emphasizes religious lessons which are highly emphasized to the point of growing madrasah diniyah in the institution. In the current era, new breakthroughs are needed so that Madin can survive in the increasingly tight competition in the education services business. The institution's steps in making changes must of course be adjusted to the condition of its human resources. That's why at Madin educational institutions it is carried out every 2 days a week. In an effort to increase Madrasah Diniyah activities in schools, several methods have been implemented so that the activities at Madrasah Diniah which are carried out at Nurul Jadid High School often change and the implementation of the current activity method is by dividing the days with formal schools which were originally one week for full school. So Seka has now been changed to four days of formal school and two days of Madrasah Dinah school. Nurul Jadid High School provides various educational support facilities for students. There are many teachers who are competent in their fields, learning support activities such as Madrsah Diniyah, extracurriculars, student organizations, learning communities, sports teams and libraries, but at NJ High School, apart from studying formal science, NJ High School is very There is also emphasis on religious education carried out by Madin (Madrasah Diniyah) which is carried out 2 days a week so that the institution also increases students whose religion is broad and can be applied in daily activities.]]>

<![CDATA[Weevil mushrooms are a type of mushroom that has high economic value and is very promising as a source of income for mushroom farmers. As the demand for humpback mushrooms increases, business opportunities for humpback mushrooms have high prospects. Based on this, there is a need to empower the community regarding the production or cultivation of Weevil Mushrooms in Jambesari Village. The aim of this service program is to provide education and assistance to the Jambesari Village Community regarding how to cultivate humpback mushrooms from the process of preparing ingredients to the process of harvesting humpback mushrooms. This tuber mushroom cultivation business is used to improve the community's economy and make it a superior product. The results of community service in the production of tuber mushrooms are: 1). Mitra was able to make a growing medium for weevil mushrooms by utilizing corn cob waste which is abundant, cheap and easy to obtain from the surrounding environment, namely corn cobs which some people throw away after going through the corn selep process 2). The creation of a community as cadres who have expertise in the tuber mushroom cultivation business. 3). Increased knowledge in the community that tuber mushroom products, apart from being able to be used to add nutrition or food menus, can also increase family income.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service aims to improve organizational governance at Politeknik Harapan Bersama through the handling of official manuscripts. A community service approach is used to involve internal stakeholders of Politeknik Harapan Bersama in the process of improving organizational governance. This service involves the development of more effective official manuscript guidelines, training for administrative staff regarding the implementation of these guidelines, as well as assistance in the implementation and evaluation process. The results showed an improvement in administrative efficiency, accountability, and transparency in the organizational governance process at Politeknik Harapan Bersama. The positive impacts of this service include reduced administrative workload, increased compliance with applicable regulations, and increased employee satisfaction regarding administrative processes. In addition, external parties also experience increased comfort and speed in getting services from Politeknik Harapan Bersama. This service makes a real contribution to efforts to improve organizational governance in educational institutions. The practical implication is that there is a better understanding of the importance of official manuscripts in supporting the efficiency and transparency of administrative processes in higher education institutions.]]>

<![CDATA[The Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar traditional village is in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The majority of the village population lives from rice cultivation, and the village is very attached to the culture of their ancestors. The combination of cultural and natural aspects offers an experience to tourists. Tourism development that combines these two aspects allows the creation of sustainable and responsible tourism products, which not only increase economic value but also preserve and respect cultural heritage and natural sustainability. Community service activities carried out aim to provide input to traditional stakeholders and the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar community in identifying and analyzing potential tourist attractions from a cultural and natural perspective and strategies for developing tourist attractions. Community service activities in the form of community assistance were carried out on December 17, 2023. The results included identifying natural and cultural tourist attractions in Kasepuhan Ciptagelar and providing information about tourism potential, tourism management, and tourism marketing as input to traditional stakeholders and local communities.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Empowerment Program aims to enhance the well-being of the community around PT. Transportation Jakarta through the utilization of recycled paper. The initiative focuses on collaboration with Bank Sampah Kumala to create added value from the paper recycling process. Firstly, education is provided to the community and employees of PT. Transportation Jakarta about the importance of paper recycling and its positive environmental impact. Subsequently, a partnership is established with Bank Sampah Kumala to collect used paper from PT. Transportation Jakarta. The used paper is then processed through an environmentally friendly recycling process. This community service provides dual benefits. First, it reduces the amount of paper waste entering landfills, potentially mitigating negative environmental impacts. Second, the recycled paper products are sold, providing additional income to the community under the care of Bank Sampah Kumala. The increased income is expected to contribute positively to the well-being of the surrounding community. By involving PT. Transportation Jakarta and Bank Sampah Kumala, this community service creates synergy between the company, the community, and waste management institutions. <![CDATA[This service activity is carried out based on the problems that occur among vocational school graduates related to lack of competence and weak absorption in the world of work and industry. Based on the potential of Widya Praja Ungaran Vocational School as a partner, the Community Service program implementation team chose the hospitality department. The specific target is class XII students who must be prepared as prospective graduates who can be absorbed by industry. Also related to the team's field of knowledge, namely Japanese Literature and Education, the solution chosen was the concept of Kaizen 5-S and Healthy Character. The 5-S concept is a working principle of Japanese society that prioritizes self-management and the work environment. This concept was chosen because it is suitable for implementation with class XII vocational school students because it is easy to apply. Healthy character is one of the special characteristics of the vision of the Bachelor of Japanese Literature study program which can be published so that it is not only able to compete in field competencies but also has a person with healthy character in four (4) dimensions, namely ethics, literacy, aesthetics and kinesthetics. Therefore, the team proposed a community service program with the title "Introduction of the Relationship between the Kanzen 5-S Concept and Healthy Character in Students as Preparation for Entering the World of Work and Industry at Widya Praja Ungaran Vocational School." The method used is a socialization method using presentation media, flashcards, posters and booklets.]]>

<![CDATA[Broomsticks have many benefits, one of which is that they are used in everyday life, for example for household needs, offices or cleaning staff. The broom sticks that are usually used as cleaning tools are made from palm tree frond sticks, coconut frond sticks or you can also use sugar palm sticks, but most people use palm frond sticks and coconut sticks. Naga Kesiangan Village is an agricultural village. So the economic output of the residents and the livelihood of most of the residents are farmers. Of the total number of families (945 families), approximately 672 families (76%) are farmers. The remaining 273 families are civil servants, TNI/Polri, traders, plantation employees and others. Judging from the average income level, the people of Naga Kesiangan Village are classified as poor. The manufacture of broom sticks must be further improved to advance the community's economy. With social media promotional media, people can sell products more widely, not only local people can buy broomstick products.]]>

<![CDATA[Population health is influenced by nutritional intake in the food consumed. In accordance with the SDGs goal, eliminating hunger, people's nutrition must be considered. Each person's nutritional adequacy rate varies depending on gender, age, level of physical activity, and physiological condition. Adequate nutrition or excess nutritional consumption is related to obesity. Obesity is a serious public health problem throughout the world. One of the activities that can be carried out to fulfill education regarding the fulfillment of balanced nutritional health is by obtaining information through interactive lecture-based counseling or using smartphone applications. The Method is Counseling using an application for early detection of potential obesity seeks to provide knowledge to teenagers regarding balanced nutrition education, starting with coordination with the Head of RT 5, outreach with posyandu cadres, counseling for RT 5 teenagers and evaluation of activities. The results of the evaluation of this activity are an increase in teenagers' knowledge regarding balanced nutrition and they are more aware of their condition, motivated to be more active in exploring information regarding the fulfillment of balanced nutrition. The Conclusion is Access and quality of health services for adolescents regarding nutritional health status is carried out by assessing the standards for fulfilling balanced nutrition with status categories based on body mass index. <![CDATA[One of the obstacles in the breastfeeding process is low milk production. This can be influenced by the mother's psychological condition. The happiness, comfort and calm of breastfeeding mothers has a positive impact on the breastfeeding process. This positive psychological condition can be obtained with hypnobreastfeeding, which is a relaxation technique to help smooth the breastfeeding process. Deep and regular relaxation makes the endocrine system, blood flow and other systems in the body function better, causing the endorphin hormones produced by the mother to flow to the breast. the baby through breast milk and also makes the baby feel comfortable and calm. This educational activity about hypnobreastfeeding was carried out at PMB Soraya Palembang 4 times, targeting post partum mothers and mothers who exclusively breastfeed their babies. The activity is planned to begin with education about hypnobreastfeeding and the factors that influence breast milk production and the factors that cause little breast milk. Next, distribute a pretest questionnaire containing the mother's attitude towards the ongoing breastfeeding process. Next is direct practice of hypnobreastfeeding and continued with evaluation using a posttest questionnaire with questions about the mother's attitude towards the breastfeeding process. Mothers' knowledge about hypnobreastfeeding on breast milk production has increased by 70%. It is hoped that all parties will improve their skills in realizing exclusive breastfeeding, one of which is through hypnobreastfeeding.]]>
