Abstract

The increasingly apparent phenomenon of global climate change has given rise to significant psychological responses among the public, one of which is eco-anxiety. This study aims to examine the relationship between eco-anxiety and pro-environmental behavior through a literature review approach. This study analyzes various empirical and theoretical findings that address whether eco-anxiety acts as a driver of ecological action or inhibits it due to its excessive emotional impact. The results indicate that eco-anxiety has a dual role: on the one hand, it can encourage individuals to engage in concrete actions for environmental sustainability; on the other hand, if not managed properly, this anxiety can lead to feelings of hopelessness and inactivity. This study concludes that constructively managing eco-anxiety is crucial to transform it into positive motivation supporting environmentally friendly behavior. Furthermore, educational and psychological interventions are needed that can frame ecological anxiety as a form of concern, rather than a paralyzing fear.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of positive emotions, particularly hope, in fostering pro-environmental behavior amidst the increasingly alarming global ecological crisis. While many previous studies have highlighted the impact of negative emotions such as eco-anxiety on individual actions, constructive emotional aspects such as hope have received insufficient academic attention. Through a literature review of interdisciplinary studies from environmental psychology, behavioral science, and climate change communication, this study analyzes how hope can serve as a catalyst for sustainable environmental engagement. The findings suggest that hope is not simply a passive emotion but a psychological force that can shape perceptions, motivate action, and strengthen long-term commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, factors such as self-efficacy, social support, and positive narratives from the media or community leaders contribute to the formation of productive hope. This study emphasizes the importance of a balanced emotional approach in environmental education and communication strategies to create a psychological space that empowers individuals to act.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of working hours, business capital, and the use of QRIS technology on the income of traders at Pasar Agung Peninjoan, Denpasar. The background of this research is based on the importance of the informal sector, particularly traditional markets, in supporting the community's economy, as well as the challenges faced by traders in adapting to competition and the development of digital technology. A quantitative approach was used with multiple linear regression analysis, based on data collected from 108 respondents. The findings show that both simultaneously and partially, working hours, business capital, and QRIS usage have a positive and significant effect on traders' income. Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal realization of program and activity budgets in Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Kediri City, even though the average performance achievement reaches 87%. This indicates that the budget is not optimally absorbed, which can be caused by a lack of participation in budgeting, unclear budget targets, and weak internal control. This study aims to analyze the influence of participatory budgeting, clarity of budget goals, and internal control on managerial performance, as well as examine the role of organizational commitment as a moderation variable. The method used is a quantitative approach with probability sampling techniques and a sample of 50 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) supported by classical assumption test and hypothesis test through SPSS software version 30. The results showed that participatory budgeting had no significant effect on managerial performance, while clarity of budget goals and internal control had a significant effect. Organizational commitment has been proven not to moderate the influence of participatory budgeting, but to moderate the influence of the clarity of budget goals and internal control on managerial performance. These findings confirm the importance of clarity of goals and effective controls, especially with the support of strong organizational commitments.

Abstract

The phenomenon of an always-on culture, characterized by the expectation to be constantly connected and responsive to work, has become a hallmark of the modern workplace, particularly among knowledge workers. This culture gradually creates psychological stress that is difficult to immediately recognize but has a significant impact on mental health and productivity. This study aims to uncover and analyze the phenomenon of invisible burnout, a hidden but persistent mental exhaustion caused by the pressure of working without clear time limits. Using a literature review method, this study examines various previous studies that discuss the correlation between digital technology, continuous workloads, and their impact on worker well-being. The results show that invisible burnout often goes undetected because it is masked by a culture of high productivity and the normalization of working outside of office hours. This research highlights the importance of healthy work policy interventions and organizational awareness of work-life balance as preventative measures against the risk of long-term, invisible burnout.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on the effectiveness of monetary policy in developing countries through a literature review approach. DeFi, as a blockchain-based financial system that operates without traditional intermediaries, is increasingly demonstrating its potential to disrupt conventional monetary policy transmission mechanisms. Through an analysis of various academic studies, reports from international financial institutions, and recent publications on DeFi dynamics, this study identifies the key challenges faced by central banks in maintaining price stability, managing liquidity, and regulating the financial system amidst the widespread use of digital assets and DeFi protocols. Furthermore, DeFi also offers opportunities to increase financial inclusion and payment system efficiency, particularly in developing countries facing limitations in traditional financial infrastructure. The study's findings suggest that the success of monetary policy in the digital era depends heavily on the ability of monetary authorities to respond to technological innovation through policy adaptation, dynamic regulation, and cross-sector collaboration. This study provides a conceptual contribution to understanding the interaction between decentralized financial innovation and traditional macroeconomic instruments in the context of developing countries.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a crucial aspect in strengthening the competitiveness of cooperatives in the technology-based economy era. However, the rate of technology adoption among cooperatives in Denpasar City remains relatively low. This study aims to analyze the effects of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions on the intention to adopt mobile application technology in cooperatives in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The study involved 85 active cooperatives that had not yet adopted technology, selected using purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression was used as the analytical method. The findings reveal that all four independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on technology adoption intention. Partially, each variable also shows a positive and significant effect, with social influence identified as the most dominant factor. These findings contribute to the strengthening of the UTAUT theory and support the endogenous growth theory approach, which emphasizes the importance of institutional internal factors in driving innovation.
