Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyse the role of Community Social Workers (PSM) in social services in Cirebon City, West Java. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores how PSM carry out initiatives in addressing social issues, developing social welfare activities, providing social services, and coordinating and assisting government programmes. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with two active PSM and the Head of the local Social Service, as well as observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that PSM play a strategic role as initiators of social programmes, facilitators of community empowerment, and partners of the government in the implementation of social welfare programmes. The main challenges faced include limited resources and policy synchronisation. However, the participatory and collaborative approach applied by PSM has proven effective in creating positive impacts on community welfare. This study recommends strengthening the capacity and structural support for PSM to improve the effectiveness of social services at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction at Pusat Baju Bali Murah. The research is grounded in the importance of customer loyalty in maintaining business sustainability amid the sales decline caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 100 respondents who had previously purchased from Pusat Baju Bali Murah. Data were analyzed using path analysis and Sobel test to examine mediation effects. The results indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on both customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Moreover, customer satisfaction also significantly influences repurchase intention. The mediation test shows that customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between product quality and repurchase intention. Hence, improving product quality not only enhances customer satisfaction but also directly and indirectly encourages repeat purchases. These findings provide valuable insights for MSMEs to strengthen competitiveness through consistent product quality strategies centered on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of internal factors, to examine the opportunities and threats of external factors, and to evaluate the appropriate strategies to be implemented. The data collection methods employed in this research include interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The analytical techniques used consist of qualitative descriptive analysis, the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) matrix, the External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) matrix, the Internal-External (IE) matrix, and SWOT analysis. The findings indicate that both internal and external factors influence marketing strategies. Based on the IFAS matrix, the main strength lies in the uniqueness of locally distinctive products, while the primary weakness is the lack of product variation in line with customer preferences. According to the EFAS matrix, the main opportunity is customers’ interest in socially valuable local products, whereas the primary threat is the changing algorithms of social media platforms. The results of the IE matrix place the business in the growth position (cell 5).

Abstract

The development of financial technology has driven a transformation in Indonesia's payment system, one of which is through the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). This initiative aims to create efficient and inclusive cashless transactions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of QRIS by Bank BPD Bali, Negara Branch, among Generation X merchants at Pasar Umum Bahagia, and to identify the obstacles encountered in the adoption process. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach using the AIDA model (Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action), the study involved field observations, in-depth interviews with Generation X merchants, and supporting documentation. The findings indicate that although most merchants already have bank accounts and are registered in the QRIS system, only a small number actively use the service. The main barriers identified include limited access to technological devices, unstable internet connections, and low trust in the security of digital systems. The study recommends continuous digital education, infrastructure improvement, and more personalized and repeated outreach by the bank to enhance QRIS adoption among traditional market merchants, particularly those from Generation X.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic scale and the influence of capital, labor, and raw materials on production in the jajan Begina industry in Luwus Village, Baturiti Sub-district, Tabanan Regency. The jajan Begina industry is a household-based enterprise with significant potential to support the local economy and absorb labor, particularly during religious holidays in Bali. This research employs a quantitative method using the Cobb-Douglas multiple linear regression model. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 96 respondents using accidental sampling techniques. The variables examined in this study include capital, labor, raw materials, and production. The analysis was conducted to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on production, as well as to assess the industry’s economic scale. The findings reveal that capital, labor, and raw materials simultaneously have a significant effect on production. Partially, capital exerts the most dominant influence on production, with a regression coefficient of 0.561, followed by raw materials at 0.073, and labor at 0.028. The total regression coefficient value of 0.662 (>1) indicates that the jajan Begina industry in Luwus Village is operating under conditions of increasing returns to scale. This implies that an increase in input will lead to a more than proportional increase in output, reflecting a growing economy of scale in the industry.

Abstract

The rapid development of Padang City has changed land use, resulting in a reduction in green open space (RTH). To map the distribution of RTH more easily, this study uses remote sensing technology with Landsat 8 OLI satellite imagery. The objective of this study is to identify the availability of RTH in Padang City using the Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) on Landsat 8 OLI imagery. According to Indonesian Law No. 26 of 2007, the proportion of RTH in urban areas must be at least 30% of the total urban area, with at least 20% being public RTH and 10% private RTH. Based on the analysis using the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) method from Landsat 8 OLI imagery, it was found that the vegetation condition in Padang City has a relatively high level of greenness, indicating that Green Open Spaces (RTH) still dominate the area. This suggests that Padang City still has RTH areas covering 41,525 hectares or 60%. Green Open Spaces (RTH) in Padang City are distributed across all districts, and based on the analysis, most of these RTH areas are still in good condition, as indicated by a fairly good percentage. However, in the city centre, the availability of RTH is increasingly scarce. Based on the results of this study on calculating the availability of RTH in Padang City in accordance with Law No. 26 of 2007, it was found that.

Abstract

This journal aims to describe the basic concepts and implementation of guidance and counseling at SD Islam Cokroaminoto 01 Kalabahi. The issues addressed include students' emotional and behavioral problems caused by family conditions such as broken homes, lack of focus in learning, and difficulties in social interaction. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews and direct observation of the homeroom teacher. The findings show that teachers use emotional, social, and psychological approaches, and involve parents and families in addressing students’ problems. In addition, teachers apply specific methods such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) strategies and ISP (Individualized Service Plan) for students with special needs. Counseling activities are conducted informally to ensure students feel comfortable and their privacy is respected. These findings indicate that guidance and counseling services play a crucial role in supporting students’ personal and social development, and in creating a positive learning environment in elementary schools.
