Abstract

Technology has become an essential part of modern education, especially at the K-12 level. Proper use of technology can greatly increase student interest and participation in learning. Students become more motivated and active in class when technology is used well and students' grades and problem-solving skills also improve. However, this success depends on several important factors, such as teachers' ability to use technology, students' access to devices and the internet, and support from the school. While there are some challenges, such as the risk of distractions and online safety issues, the benefits of using technology in education far outweigh them. It follows, then, that technology, when used appropriately, can be a highly effective tool for improving the quality of education at the K-12 level. It is important for schools and educators to develop good strategies for integrating technology into their curriculum to maximise students' learning potential in this digital age.

Abstract

Inclusive education has become a major focus of global education policy, but its implementation still faces complex challenges. The main challenges identified include a lack of understanding of the concept of inclusion, limited resources and infrastructure, lack of teacher skills in dealing with student diversity, policy and system barriers, and social stigma and discrimination. To address these challenges, various strategies have been developed and implemented in different countries. These strategies include increasing public awareness and understanding, developing supportive policies, improving teacher capacity through training, providing adequate resources, and collaboration between various stakeholders. Although challenges remain, many countries have shown significant progress in implementing inclusive education. Thus, a holistic and contextualised approach that considers each country's social, cultural and economic conditions is necessary to achieve effective and sustainable implementation of inclusive education

Abstract

This research aims to examine the dynamics of Sundanese language usage in the Banjarharjo area, Brebes Regency, which is predominantly inhabited by the Javanese ethnic group. The focus of the study includes the history, origins of Sundanese language usage, differences between the Sundanese dialect of Banjarharjo and other regions, factors influencing Sundanese language usage, and its impact on the development of local culture. This research employs a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving local communities as primary informants. The research findings indicate that the use of the Sundanese language in Banjarharjo is rooted in the influence of the Padjajaran Kingdom and social interactions with the directly adjacent West Java region. The Sundanese language of Banjarharjo possesses its own distinctive characteristics, both in dialect, vocabulary, and intonation, which are influenced by the cultural acculturation of Javanese and Sundanese. Nevertheless, a shift in language usage is occurring among the younger generation, where the dominance of the Indonesian language is beginning  to  replace  Sundanese  as  the  primary  means  of  communication.

Abstract

This abstract offers a succinct overview of a comprehensive analysis on the integration of legal education into Bangladesh’s secondary and higher secondary educational framework. It explores how teaching legal information at a young age can help pupils develop civic engagement, legal literacy, and awareness. Using qualitative approaches to analyze integration potential and difficulties, the study assesses the current condition of legal education in the curriculum. Interviews with students, instructors, legislators, and legal experts provide qualitative data that illuminates how legal education influences students’ moral and intellectual development. The study emphasizes the benefits of including legal education in the secondary and upper secondary curriculum since it fosters ethical reasoning, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of legal topics. It also identifies obstacles to successful implementation, including problems with curriculum integration and resource limitations. The conclusions emphasize the significance of comprehensive legal education in developing responsible persons capable of navigating legal intricacies and making recommendations for improving Bangladdesh’s educational system through curriculum, teacher training, and legislative changes. These observations underline the critical role that legal education plays in developing socially conscious persons in secondary and higher secondary schools, and they greatly add to the current discourse in Bangladesh regarding education reform

Abstract

This literature review examines the application of technology in education and how these innovations affect teaching and learning. The research shows that technology has the potential to increase the accessibility and flexibility of education, reduce educational disparities, and provide a more interactive and personalised learning experience. However, the adoption of technology in education requires adequate infrastructure, technology competency training for teachers, and attention to student privacy and data security. In addition, challenges such as the risk of distraction, cyberbullying and technology dependency also need to be addressed through appropriate policies and regulations. With adequate support and a wise approach, technology can be an important tool in improving the quality of education and learning.
