Abstract

"Development of Picture Card Media to Improve Numeracy Literacy in Children Aged 4-5 Years". This research is a type of research and development. The development model used was adapted from the Brog and Gall development model. This research was carried out in the following steps: (1) Preliminary study or field observation; (2) Research plan- ning; (3) Initial product development; (4) Limited field testing; (5) Revision of field test results; (6) Product suitability for learning; (7) Revise the results of the feasibility test of the product itself; and (8) Revision of field products. The media developed was validated by 1 material expert and 1 media expert before being tested on children. The test subjects for this research were 20 children. 2 children during individual trials, 8 children during small group trials, and 10 children during field trials. The instruments used to collect data are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data was obtained from prod- uct quality assessments in the form of suggestions from material experts, media experts and accompanying teachers. Quantitative data are scores obtained from questionnaires filled in by media experts, material experts, the instruments used are validity instruments for material experts and media experts in the form of checklists and evaluation sheets. The results of the research show that from the validation results the learning aspect ob- tained a score of 3.5 (good criteria), the content aspect 3.75 (good criteria), and the dis- play aspect obtained a score of 4.17 (very good criteria), and the user aspect 3.75 ( good criteria). From these results, it can be concluded that picture card media as an educa- tional learning medium for the abilities of children aged 4-5 years is suitable for use as a source of children's learning to make it easier for children to learn to tell stories and speak.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the perception of teachers and students of grade IV of SDN 13/I Muara Bulian towards the use of technology-based learning media in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects consisting of grade IV teachers and students who are directly involved in technology-based learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman's steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that both teachers and students have a positive perception of the use of technology-based learning media. Teachers assess that technology can improve student understanding, create engaging learning, and motivate students to learn. Meanwhile, students feel that technology-based media makes learning more fun, easy to understand, and encourages learning independence. However, several challenges have arisen, such as limited facilities, device access, and technical skills that still need to be improved. With support from schools and further training, technology has the potential to significantly improve the quality of learning. This research provides important insights for the development of technology-based learning in elementary schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between work conflict and teacher professionalism in schools, particularly its impact on the quality of individual and organizational performance. Poorly managed work conflicts can disrupt professionalism, such as by reducing commitment, hindering collaboration, or lowering adherence to work standards. Conversely, a high level of professionalism can be a key factor in resolving work conflicts constructively, as professionalism includes the ability to communicate effectively, maintain work ethics, and prioritize shared interests. Therefore, the author is interested in examining the topic "The Relationship Between Conflict and Teacher Professionalism at UPT SMPN 10 Tapung, Kampar Regency." The sample for this study consists of 28 teachers. The results of a simple correlation analysis (r) indicate a correlation between teachers' perceptions of the relationship between conflict and teacher professionalism, with an (r) value of 0.853 and a significance level of 0.05 (5%). This shows a positive relationship, as a higher conflict level correlates with lower teacher professionalism. It can be concluded that the relationship between conflict and teacher professionalism falls into the "very strong" category, with a coefficient range of 0.80–1.00. Thus, it can be stated that interpersonal conflicts are related to teacher professionalism at UPT SMPN 10 Tapung, Kampar Regency

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between pedagogical competence and social competence of teachers at the Ubay bin Ka'ab Salo Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this research is interviews with sources and field observations to obtain comprehensive data. The research results show that good pedagogical competence, balanced with high social competence, contributes significantly to the formation of students' character and learning motivation. Apart from that, this research reveals that positive interactions between teachers and students can strengthen the learning process. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable insights for the development of teacher professionalism in Islamic boarding school environments, as well as being a source of inspiration for further research in the field of education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using graphic image media on student learning outcomes at MTs Al-Washliyah Sorkam. This study is a quantitative study with a research design that uses Quasi Experiment. The sample of this study was grade VII students at MTs Al-Washliyah Sorkam with a sample size of 60 students. The sample of the study was class VII A Experiment using graphic image media and class VII B Control with conventional methods, data analysis techniques using hypothesis testing with paired sample tests. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the use of graphic image media on student learning outcomes in the subject of aqidah akhlak at MTs Al-Washliyah Sorkam class VII A. As these results prove that the value of the experimental class Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 while alpha (0.000 <0.05), with an average value using graphic image media of 72.83.

Abstract

The use of Duolingo application is one of the alternatives that can be used in language learning, one of which is Arabic listening learning. This study aims to describe the learning process by using the Duolingo application. As a learning media. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at an Integrated Islamic Primary School in Padang class involving 35 students. Data were obtained from observation and student interviews. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning process through the duolingo application can be used as an alternative for teachers to increase students' learning independence and practice listening skills This shows that the use of Duolingo can be an alternative media for learning Arabic

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the phenomena of the problem of Islamic education in Indonesia, namely the tendency for some of the younger generation of Muslims to now like to access content or reading that is less useful, resulting in some of them being mentally weak, lacking in morals, and who like to follow a hedonistic lifestyle (lifestyle). which focuses on seeking worldly pleasures and unlimited satisfaction) shows that Islamic religious character education in Indonesia has not succeeded in building an Islamic generation of Muslims. Umar bin Khattab's Biography Book by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad As-Shallabi is a historical biography book that has Islamic religious character values in it. The aim of this research is to identify the values of Islamic religious character education in the biography of Umar Bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad Ash- Shallabi. The type of research used in the research is literature study with data sources that include two types: primary data sources and secondary data, collected using documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using content analysis. The results of this study show that there are religious character education values in the biography of Umar bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhhammad Ash-Shallabi. The author found the values of religious character education in the biography of Umar bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. There are ten of Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi, among others: Obedient to Allah, Confident, Creative, Love of knowledge, and Honest. The religious character of being obedient to Allah in the biography of Umar Bin Khattab contains Umar's submissive and obedient attitude to Allah by trying to carry out His commands and staying away from His prohibitions; Umar bin Khattab's confident religious character in the book is shown by his courage in preaching and contributing ideas to the Muslim community, as well as not hesitating in doing something he believes he can do; Umar bin Khattab's creative religious character is demonstrated by Umar's creativity in presenting brilliant ideas regarding the benefit of the Muslims; The religious character of Umar bin Khattab's love of science is shown by his activities, which tend to be like attending science meetings, like discussing, like reading and writing; Umar bin Khattab's honest religious character in the book is shown by always saying and doing what he really is, saying what is right is right and saying what is wrong is wrong.

Abstract

This study investigates the marketing management approach to school branding in the competitive education era. The main objective is to analyze effective school branding strategies to improve the competitativeness of educational institutions. The methodology used is a quantitative method (library research) that includes a comprehensive analysis of current literature on educational marketing management and school branding. The main findings show that the implementation of branding strategies can enhance the school’s image, attract more talented students, and improve the institution’s competitiveness. It also shows the importance of integrating educational values into marketing strategies to maintain the integrity of the institution. Other recommendations include developing a comprehensive branding model, improving employee competencies in marketing management and continuously evaluating the effectiveness of branding strategy. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the important role of branding in navigating an increasingly comprehensive educational environment

Abstract

Rahmah El Yunusiyah is an important figure in Islamic education in Indonesia, especially for women. Through the establishment of Diniyyah Putri, she introduced the concept of education that combines religious and general knowledge, emphasizing equal educational rights between men and women. This research aims to examine in depth Rahmah El Yunusiyah's role in developing women's education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using library research. All data used comes from various written sources such as books, documents, and manuscripts. The results showed that Rahmah El Yunusiyah's role in education was enormous. By combining religious and general education, Rahmah succeeded in creating a complete and inclusive education system for women. The educational institution she founded, Diniyyah Putri, has had a major impact in increasing women's access to formal education. In conclusion, Rahmah el Yunusiyah has made major changes in education, especially for women. Her contributions created a strong foundation for women's education in Indonesia. By combining religious and general education, and fighting for equal educational rights between men and women, Rahmah succeeded in having a positive impact on educators today to continue to support equitable and thriving education for all.

Abstract

Islamic education has a significant role in encouraging positive social change. This article explains how Islamic education is not just a process of learning religious values but also has a role as the main driver for changing the paradigm, behavior and social life of society. By understanding Islamic teachings about education as an instrument of change, this article also explains the contribution of Islamic education in empowering society, overcoming social problems and forming characters with integrity. The method used is a kind of information from the library. Aims to discover several aspects, starting from the concept of Islamic education, community empowerment through education, the role of religious values in overcoming social problems, to the practical implementation of Islamic education in contemporary social contexts. In the context of contemporary challenges, this article  highlights how Islamic education responds to and overcomes various contemporary problems including globalization, social injustice and intercultural and interreligious conflicts. By exploring the role of Islamic education in promoting the values of tolerance, concord and harmony, this article emphasizes the importance of implementing religious teachings in society to drive sustainable and positive social change.
