Abstract

This study aims to understand the perceptions of teachers and students of grade 6 of Tegalsari Elementary School regarding classroom management in technology-based learning processes. This study uses a mix method technique with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach with interviews and observations for 3 months and a quantitative approach using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure student perceptions. The subjects of the study consisted of homeroom teachers and all 13 grade 6 students. Data analysis from interviews and observations was carried out using the steps of Miles and Huberman, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data was processed using a triangulation test so that the data produced was credible and valid. The results of the study showed that teachers and students had the same perceptions regarding the effectiveness of technology-based classroom management applied during the learning process which can make it easier for teachers to create a conducive atmosphere, foster enthusiasm for learning, and students feel less bored so they can focus while learning. However, there are several obstacles to the limitations of digital media facilities owned by schools, such as chromebooks, projectors, signals, and power outages quite often occur. This study provides insight and motivation to elementary school teachers to involve digital technology in managing classes during the learning process

Abstract

Educator professionalism is a crucial factor in enhancing the quality of education, particularly in mathematics instruction within educational institutions. Teachers are considered professionals when they possess not only a strong conceptual grasp of the content but also demonstrate the ability to implement innovative teaching techniques, adapt their methods to suit student needs, and effectively utilize technology and educational resources. This research aims to examine the impact of teacher professionalism on the enhancement of mathematics instruction in schools. The approach employed in this research is a literature review. The findings of the research indicate that educators with a strong sense of professionalism can enhance the quality of mathematics instruction in schools by fostering an engaging learning atmosphere and boosting students' motivation and comprehension of mathematical principles. Therefore, improving teacher professionalism through continuous training and competency development is a strategic step in efforts to improve the quality of mathematics learning in schools

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the extent of the Comparative Study on the Implementation of Educational Management Systems in Public and Private Schools until now. The method of this research is that this study uses a qualitative approach with a comparative analysis method. Data was collected through interviews published in scientific journals and other mass media, observations related to government regulations, and the collection of documents from several public and private schools in various regions. The results of this study are that this comparative study shows that there are significant differences in the implementation of education management systems between public and private schools. Private schools tend to have greater flexibility in developing curricula, grading systems, and the use of technology, while public schools are bound by government regulations

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found during the initial observation that the development of religious and moral values of children in Group B RA Al-Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City has not developed optimally. This can be seen that children rarely say greetings when they arrive at school, children have not been able to behave well when playing with their friends, when praying activities do it with a screaming voice. Therefore, researchers used the role-playing method to determine its effect on the development of children's religious and moral values. The purpose of this research conducted in Group B RA Al Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City is to find out: 1) The development of children's religious and moral values through the role- playing method in the experimental class; 2) The development of children's religious and moral values through the storytelling method in the control class; and 3) The difference in the development of children's religious and moral values between using the role-playing method and the storytelling method. This research method is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design and through pretest, treatment and posstest patterns on two groups to determine the development of religious and moral values in children. Class B1 as many as 15 children (control class) and class B2 as many as 15 children (experimental class). The results of data analysis show that the development of religious and moral values of early childhood before being given treatment using the role-playing method obtained an average value of 54 and after being given treatment using the role-playing method obtained an average value of 88. While the development of religious and moral values of children before being given treatment using the storytelling method obtained an average value of 47 and after being given treatment obtained an average value of 74. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained t_hitung = 2.903> t_ (table) = 1.701 then H_0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and H_1 (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the development of religious and moral values in children between learning using the role-playing method and the storytelling method in Group B RA Al Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found, namely regarding children's fine motor skills. There are some children who have not been able to hold a pencil correctly (placing fingers on the pencil is still wrong), and there are children who have not been able to cut according to a predetermined pattern. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze: (1) Children's fine motor skills before the application of constructive play using clay media in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City; (2) Children's fine motor skills after the application of constructive play using clay media in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City; (3) The effect of constructive play using clay media on children's fine motor skills in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach using Pre-experimental Design. Respondents in this study were 27 children. Determination of the sample using saturated sample technique, meaning that the number of samples is done by setting the entire population as research respondents. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis process involves instrument testing, namely validity and reliability, then normality test, homogeneity test, partial test of indicator items and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City before the application of constructive play using clay media obtained an average value of 52.5 with less interpretation. After the application of constructive play using clay media obtained an average value of 78.5 with good interpretation. There is a significant difference in children's fine motor skills before and after the application of constructive play using clay media. This is evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test which shows the value of ????ℎ????????????????g 8.561 and ????????????????????????2.007 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is an effect of constructive play using clay media on the fine motor skills of early childhood in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City.

Abstract

The personality of a child is determined by several factors: genetic and environmental factors. Parents who are the first environment a child encounters provide a great contribution in shaping the personality of a child. Families have models of parenting as well as methods of providing education. There are three kinds of parenting that parents can apply to children, namely: democratic parenting, permissiveness and authority. Democratic parenting gives children freedom responsibly, while authoritarian parenting is a way of educating children by using authoritarian leadership, that is, parents determine all policies, steps and tasks that must be done. Authoritarian parenting reflects the attitude of parents who act hard and tend to discriminate. Permissive parenting patterns have the characteristics of parents to give full freedom to children to do so that sometimes children do actions that are against the rules. In providing parenting to children, some strategies provide education with exemplary methods, familiarization, attention, advice and methods of punishment.

Abstract

This study is based on the background that the implementation of management strategies is needed by BK teachers in determining guidance and counseling service strategies, so that it is easier for BK teachers to help students. This study aims to determine the guidance and counseling management strategy at State Islamic Senior High School 2 Hulu Sungai Utara in overcoming problems faced by students. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 2 BK teachers, the object of this study was the guidance and counseling management strategy at State Islamic Senior High School 2 Hulu Sungai Utara. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentaries. Data were processed using editing, classification, and interpretation techniques. Data were analyzed using a qualitative approach and inductive conclusions were drawn. The results of the study showed that the guidance and counseling management strategy in overcoming problems faced by students at State Islamic Senior High School 2 Hulu Sungai Utara can be seen from the process carried out by BK teachers, namely the process of formulation, implementation, and evaluation of strategies. The results of the guidance and counseling management strategy at State Islamic Senior High School 2 Hulu Sungai Utara in overcoming problems faced by students are first, the strategies applied in overcoming student problems, namely information services, individual counseling, and group counseling. Second, its usefulness is to help BK teachers take a systematic and professional approach in solving student problems, and to help ensure that the services provided are structured, eflective, and can meet student needs. The third supporting factor is the availability of facilities for BK, supported by the principal, deputy head of student aflairs, homeroom teachers, other teachers, OSIM supervisors, and PIK-R MAN 2 HSU. Fourth, the inhibiting factor is that there is no special schedule for the implementation of guidance and counseling in classes, so it requires free hours and time outside of class hours.

Abstract

This research discusses the classical texts of Islamic education which includes a study of the works of scholars who form the basis of educational theory and practice in the Islamic tradition. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the classical texts of Islamic education influence the development of Islamic education until today. The purpose of this research is to explore the meaning and relevance of these texts in the formation of a modern Islamic education system. This research uses the literature study method by analysing primary and secondary sources. The results show that the classical texts of Islamic education provide an important foundation in the preparation of the curriculum and values of Islamic education until today.

Abstract

This research investigates the complexity of the relationship between digital technology and the understanding and application of Christian values in the lives of Generation Z. As a generation growing up in the digital era, Generation Z faces unique challenges in integrating religious values with the increasingly pervasive use of technology in their daily lives. The study explores the impact of technology on how Generation Z interacts with Christian values, as well as the eflorts and strategies they employ to live a holy life in the digital realm. The research methodology includes surveys and online content analysis to comprehend the behavioral patterns, attitudes, and experiences of Generation Z in integrating Christian values in the digital era. The findings indicate that despite facing temptations from online content conflicting with Christian teachings, Generation Z also utilizes technology to deepen their spiritual beliefs. Churches and religious communities play a central role in providing support, ethical guidance in the digital realm, and community spaces to help Generation Z navigate moral dilemmas in the digital world. The implications of the research underscore the need for a holistic approach from churches and religious communities to support Generation Z in living a holy life amidst the rapid development of technology

Abstract

This research explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in schools in shaping national character in the digital era. Good character, based on Islamic values such as honesty, sincerity, and responsibility, is an important element in building the identity of a Muslim who loves the homeland. PAI aims to instill moral and spiritual values amid the challenges of a secular national education system, where the focus is often more on knowledge transfer than character building. Through a theoretical study approach with a descriptive qualitative method, this study analyzes various literature to understand the extent to which PAI can strengthen students' national values and morality. The results show that the comprehensive and consistent implementation of PAI in the educational curriculum can contribute significantly in overcoming the morality crisis among students, equipping them with characters that support the welfare of the community and the nation
