Abstract

Parents' attention to children's education in the household greatly determines the success of children in learning. This has a positive impact on behavioral changes and children's educational development. Parents must always pay attention to how their children learn at home so that their children get good achievements at school. The learning difficulties experienced by students are inseparable from the role of parents in providing guidance at home. The role of parents towards children is often influenced by the attitude of parents in providing guidance and coaching to children. The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the role of parental guidance on the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Kota Sorong and to be able to find out the factors that affect the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the method used in this study being qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the role of parental guidance for learning achievement of students of Class V SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, there are four parents who have not provided learning assistance to their children, and one parent has not fully provided learning assistance to their children, and two parents have not provided learning assistance to their children because parents are busy in their daily lives so that students have not received full learning assistance from parents. There are three roles of parental guidance on the learning achievement of Class V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, namely parents as student companions, parents as facilitators, and parents as student motivators. Factors that hinder tutoring activities from parents to children are such as parents who do not understand the material being studied by their children, a crowded home environment that is not conducive, and subject matter that is not clear or even absent in textbooks.

Abstract

This thesis discusses general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students at SDLB Negeri Sambas. The research has three objectives, namely: First, to find out the various strategies of general teachers in teaching Islam for Deaf Students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 Pandemic for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. Second, knowing the application of various general teacher strategies in teaching Islam for Deaf Students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Third, find out the obstacles in learning Islam for deaf students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive, qualitative study which aims to find out what strategies are used by general teachers in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students at SDLB Negeri Sambas. The subjects of this research were general teachers at SDLB Negeri Sambas. Data collection tool techniques are: observation, interviews, documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. Then the data validity checking technique used is triangulation and member check. The results of this research are: First, general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students, namely expository strategies, individual strategies, behavior modification strategies. Second, the application of general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students consists of opening, core and closing activities. Third, the obstacles faced by general teachers in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students are in terms of internal factors, namely physiological factors, psychological factors, then finally, external factors including the social and non-social environment.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the use of block media in improving the ability to recognize letters in early childhood at RA Al-Hidayah Dalan Lidang. The method used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each including the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed a significant increase in children's ability to name, differentiate and group letters. In cycle I, the results of observations showed that the majority of children were in the Starting to Developing to Not Yet Developing category. However, in cycle II, there was an increase, where the number of children who reached the Very Well Developing and Developing As Expected categories increased. This confirms that block media is effective in improving letter recognition in early childhood, even though there are several obstacles faced during the learning process.

Abstract

Schools are in the midst of society and can be said as a double-edged sword. The first eye is to maintain the sustainability of positive values in society. The second eye is as an institution that can encourage changes in values and traditions in accordance with the progress and demands of life and development. Values that are in accordance with development needs are maintained, while those that are not in accordance must be changed. Schools are the mainstay of society's hopes for their progress. Thus, there should be good cooperation between schools and the community. In addition, education is a shared responsibility between schools, government and society. The realization of this responsibility with the community cannot be carried out if the relationship between schools and the community is not established as well as possible

Abstract

Education is the primary pillar of a nation's success. It plays a crucial role in advancing the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045. High-quality education enhances human resources, which, in turn, drives a country's progress. This study examines the role of education in supporting the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045, which serves as the foundation for national development. A descriptive qualitative method was employed through a literature review of journals, articles, and other credible sources. The findings reveal that Indonesia faces various challenges in improving education quality, requiring several solutions. These include enhancing teacher competence through technology- based training, strengthening curricula to align with industry demands, and increasing access to adequate educational facilities, particularly in remote areas. This study highlights the importance of adaptive and innovative educational policies to ensure equity and quality improvement in education. Consequently, Indonesian youth can develop into competent individuals ready to compete on a global scale, contributing to the realization of the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045.

Abstract

Early marriage is a phenomenon that is of major concern in health and human rights issues among society globally. Early marriage is usually dominated by women, especially in rural areas. Some parents give permission and let their children marry before the age of 18. Some parents think that marrying their children off at a young age can ease the economic burden on the family. Even though early marriage has a negative impact on both the prospective mother and the prospective child. This service aims to provide education to students at SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang regarding the impact of early marriage and the factors that cause early marriage so that students avoid marriage at an early age and focus on studying. The method for carrying out this activity is by providing information about early marriage, providing direction and motivation. This socialization activity received a positive and quite enthusiastic response from both teachers and students because it was followed by promotion of the STAIN Madina campus and inviting younger students to study at the Pride Campus of Mandailing Natal Regency.

Abstract

This research originated from the discovery of a problem about Islamic religious education teachers who very rarely use information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas. The purpose of this research is to identify internal factors and external factors that cause the problematics of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas in the 2023-2024 academic year. This research used qualitative method with phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validity checking technique uses source triangulation and member check. The results of research on the problematics of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas, namely: Internal factors that cause the problems of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media are weak teacher competence, lack of teacher interest and teacher age. External factors that cause the problems of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media are lack of facilities, lack of training and limited funds.

Abstract

The lecture method is one of the approaches often used by educators in delivering learning materials, especially in the context of Pancasila learning. In this method, educators convey information directly to students, so that they can understand the concepts taught. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the lecture method in Pancasila learning. To achieve this goal, the researcher applied a qualitative approach, which allows for in-depth and comprehensive data collection. The researcher conducted interviews with class teachers to obtain their perspectives on the use of the lecture method that had been used. In addition, the researcher also analyzed the values obtained by students during the learning process. In this way, it is hoped that a clear picture can be obtained regarding the impact of the lecture method on students' understanding and achievement in the Pancasila subject. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective teaching methods in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the eflect of organisational culture and leadership on employee job satisfaction, both simultaneously (jointly) and partially. The hypotheses of this study are: 1) There is a positive and significant eflect of organisational culture and leadership together on employee job satisfaction; 2) There is a positive and significant influence between organisational culture and employee job satisfaction; 3) There is a positive and significant influence between leadership and employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted at the Buay Pemuka Peliung Sub-District Office, East OKU Regency, using a sample survey research method. The research respondents were 30 employees of the Buay Pemuka Peliung Sub-District Office, East OKU Regency. The instrument used was a questionnaire regarding organisational culture and leadership as the independent variable (independent variable), and a questionnaire regarding employee job satisfaction as the dependent variable (dependent variable). The organisational culture, leadership and job satisfaction questionnaire instruments were validated using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula, while the reliability of the instrument was measured using Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis uses Simple Regression Analysis, Multiple Regression, and Coefficient of Determination (R2). F-test to determine the eflect of the two independent variables of organisational culture and leadership simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the t-test is used to determine the eflect of the two independent variables of organisational culture and leadership partially on employee job satisfaction as the dependent variable. The level of significance used in this study is α = 5%. From the results of the study, it was found that: (1) Simultaneously, there is a significant influence between the independent variables of organisational culture and leadership on the dependent variable of employee job satisfaction where the correlation (R) is 0.747 (2) Partially, there is a significant influence between organisational culture and employee job satisfaction, where the simple correlation coefficient (R) is 0.309, (3) Partially, there is a positive influence between leadership and employee job satisfaction where the simple correlation coefficient (R) is 0.688.

Abstract

Teacher psychological well-being is a very important factor in creating a conducive and effective learning environment. Teachers who have good psychological well-being tend to be more innovative, creative, and able to establish positive relationships with students, thereby increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. This study discusses factors that influence teacher psychological well-being, such as social support, workload, and work-life balance. In addition, the impact of teacher well-being on teaching performance, relationships with students, and classroom management is also discussed. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that to improve teacher well-being, strategies are needed such as strengthening social support, better workload management, and increasing awareness of mental health through training and counseling services. With the implementation of these strategies, it is hoped that teacher psychological well-being can be improved, so that it can contribute to improving the quality of education in schools
