Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the Indonesian learning which contains very little of moral and character messages and the lack of learning resources, resulting in less interesting and unpleasant learning which lead the development of four aspects of language skills as learning objectives to be unachieved. Therefore, this research aimed to find out (1) the eligibility of interactive multimedia on Indonesian learning with Islamic insight based on the assessment of media experts and material experts, and (2) the quality of interactive multimedia on Indonesian learning with Islamic insight based on the assessment of students and teachers. This research and development are using ADDIE model. The procedures of this research include the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pringlangu 02 Pekalongan City. The results of this study are: (1) interactive multimedia products for Indonesian learning with Islamic insight was assessed by material experts with a score of 21.5 in the very eligible category and assessed by media experts with a score of 49.5 in the eligible category; (2) the quality of interactive multimedia for Indonesian learning with Islamic insight is very good based on the assessment of students and teachers. Thus, the use of multimedia for Indonesian learning is needed because it is a source of learning that can improve learning performance, as well as seeding the value of Islamic characters in students.Keywords: interactive multimedia, indonesian learning, Islamic values.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang kering dari pesan-pesan moral dan karakter serta minimnya sumber belajar yang mengakibatkan pembelajarannya kurang menarik dan tidak menyenangkan yang pada gilirannya pengembangan empat aspek keterampilan berbahasa sebagai tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan (1) kelayakan multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berwawasan nilai-nilai Islami berdasarkan penilaian ahli guru dan siswa, dan (2) kualitas multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berwawasan nilai-nilai Islami berdasarkan penilaian siswa dan guru. Penelitian pengembangan ini (Research and Development) menggunakan model ADDIE. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi: tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pringlangu 02 Kota Pekalongan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) produk multimedia interaktif untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berwawasan nilai-nilai Islami dinilai oleh ahli materi dengan skor 21,5 berada pada kategori sangat layak dan dinilai oleh ahli media dengan skor 49,5 berada pada kategori layak; (2) kualitas multimedia interaktif untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berwawasan nilai-nilai Islami adalah sangat baik berdasarkan penilaian siswa dan guru. Dengan demikian, penggunaan multimedia pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia diperlukan karena menjadi sumber belajar yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja pembelajaran, sekaligus penyemai nilai-nilai karakter Islami pada siswa.Kata kunci: multimedia interaktif, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, nlai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

                                                    AbstractCrossword puzzle strategy is one strategy of active learning that involves all students to actively think by filling out crossword puzzles prepared by the teacher. So those students are expected to be more enthusiastic in participating in learning. This study aims to examine the effect of applying the crossword puzzle strategy on students' learning motivation in science learning. The research method used is a quantitative method, with the design of one shoot case study. The population in this study were all students of class amounting to 21 students, and using saturated sampling in determining the sample. Data collection techniques used are structured observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Furthermore, the results of the research data were tested using regression tests. The results showed that the significance value of the regression test was 0,000. Because significant value is smaller than 0.05 and t count (4.316) is greater than t table (1.72913), it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that the implementation of crossword puzzle strategy has a significant effect on students' learning motivation in science learning.Keywords: crossword puzzle, students’ learning motivation, science learning. AbstrakStrategi crossword puzzle adalah salah satu strategi pembelajaran aktif yang melibatkan semua peserta didik untuk aktif berfikir dengan mengisi teka teki silang yang telah disiapkan oleh guru. Sehingga diharapkan peserta didik menjadi lebih antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tentang pengaruh penerapan strategi crossword puzzle terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan desain one-shoot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 21 siswa, dan menggunakan sampling jenuh dalam menentukan sampelnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi pada uji regresi sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan t hitung (4.316) lebih besar dari t tabel (1.72913), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa penerapan strategi crossword puzzle berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.Kata kunci : crossword puzzle, motivasi belajar siswa, pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the necessity of having student books that suit to the 2013 curriculum objectives, the characteristics of elementary school students and the characteristics of learning outcomes. The study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective elementary school student books based on thinking actively in social context. Employing a 4-D research model (define, design, development and disseminate), the data were garnered using tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The data from tests and questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics whereas the triangulation was used to analyze the data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the developed student books met the valid criteria with a final score of 85.25% (very valid). It was found that the student books are easy to use, time-saving, and useful to implement in the classroom practices. It could also enhance student learning outcomes in terms of spiritual attitudes, social, knowledge and skills with a percentage increase of 15.35%. As those books are valid, practical, and effective; they can be used as a reference for the learning activities in elementary schools.Keywords: student books, 2013 curriculum, TASC, elementary schools.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya buku siswa yang selaras dengan tujuan kurikulum 2013, karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar, dan karakteristik hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku siswa kurikulum 2013 berbasis thinking actively in social context untuk sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Menggunakan model penelitian 4-D (define, design, development, disseminate), data dikumpulkan mealui tes, angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari tes dan angket dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif sedangkan triangulasi digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang berasal dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku siswa yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dengan skor akhir 85,25% (sangat valid). Buku siswa mudah digunakan, menghemat waktu, dan bermanfaat dalam implementasinya pada pembelajaran di kelas. Buku siswa juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada aspek sikap spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 15,35%. Karena buku yang telah dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif, buku siswa tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: buku siswa, kurikulum 2013, TASC, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by learning barriers and low understanding of the mathematical students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah on the concept of decimal fraction. The purpose of this research is to determine the effective learning technique for decimal fraction by using storybook. This type of research uses didactical design research which includes the stages of prospective analysis, metapedia didactic analysis, and re-prospective analysis. The draft of the design applied to twenty-eight students' sixth grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Kadupandak Serang City. Observation sheets, interviews, and test comprehension were used as a data collection instrument for implementation execution. Didactic design using literature based math was made through one revision and it consist of eight steps. The results showed that the implementation of didactical design using literature based math can help students build their mathematical understanding of the decimal concept. It can be seen from the reduced percentage of students' errors in solving comprehension test questions from 71.6% to 11.6%. Therefore, for elementary teacher who has storybooks related to mathematical concepts are advised to try the eight learning steps developed in this study.Keywords: literature-based math, didactic designs, students' mathematical understanding.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hambatan belajar dan pemahaman matematis siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah yang masih rendah pada konsep pecahan desimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik pembelajaran pecahan desimal dengan menggunakan buku cerita. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain didaktis yang meliputi tahapan analisis prospektif, analisis metapeda didaktik, dan analisis re-prospektif. Rancangan desain didaktis diterapkan pada 28 (dua puluh delapan) siswa kelas VI (enam) Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Kadupandak Kota Serang. Lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes pemahaman digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian. Desain didaktis dengan menggunakan matematika berbasis literatur dibuat melalui satu kali revisi dan terdiri dari delapan langkah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan desain didaktis dengan menggunakan matematika berbasis literatur dapat membantu siswa dalam membangun pemahaman matematika tentang konsep desimal. Hal tersebut terlihat dari berkurangnya persentase kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tes pemahaman dari 71,6% menjadi 11,6%. Oleh karena itu, bagi guru sekolah dasar yang memiliki buku cerita yang berkaitan dengan konsep matematika disarankan untuk mencoba delapan langkah pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: matematika berbasis literatur, desain didaktis, pemahaman matematika siswa.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the integration model of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum as well as its implementation and the impacts of its integration in elementary schools. Involving an ICP class of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) elementary laboratory school and a model class of Brawijaya Smart School  elementary school, a qualitative case-study method and a multi cases design were employed in this study. The data were collected  from observations, interviews, and documentations which then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The result of the study shows that (1) the integration of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum in the Brawijaya Smart School elementary school uses a model of Sequenced Eye-glasses integration, while a Shared Binoculars Integration model is used in the UM elementary lab school; (2) The implementation of Sequenced Eye-glasses in the model class of the Brawijaya Smart School elementary school is conducted by compiling and teaching the materials from both curricula. Meanwhile, a Shared Binoculars Integration model in UM elementary lab school is implemented through teaching the 2013 curriculum thematically and the Cambridge curriculum separately. (3) The integration of 2013 curriculum and Cambridge curriculum enhances students' abilities in: a) English language; b) reasoning; c) creative thinking; and d) academic achievements.Keywords: integrated curriculum model, 2013 curriculum, Cambridge curriculum.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model integrasi kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum Cambridge beserta implementasinya, dan dampak integrasi tersebut pada sekolah dasar. Melibatkan satu kelas ICP (SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang) dan satu kelas model (SD Brawijaya Smart School), pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus dengan rancangan multikasus digunakan pada penelitian ini. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan kemudian dianalisis dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) integrasi kurikulum di kelas Model SD Brawijaya Smart School menggunakan model integrasi Sequenced Eye-glasses, sedangkan model integrasi Shared Binoculars Integration digunakan di kelas ICP SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang; (2) Implementasi model Sequenced Eye-glasses dilaksanakan dengan menyusun materi dari dua kurikulum tersebut, dan mengajarkan materi yang berkaitan secara bersamaan. Implementasi model Shared Binoculars Integration dilaksanakan dengan mengajarkan Kurikulum 2013 secara tematik dan Kurikulum Cambridge secara terpisah. (3) Integrasi kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum Cambridge dapat meningkatkan a) kemampuan berbahasa Inggris; b) kemampuan dalam bernalar; c) kemampuan berpikir kreatif; dan d) prestasi akademik.Kata kunci: model integrasi kurikulum, kurikulum 2013, kurikulum Cambridge.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low writing skill of students, especially in writing narratives. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of photo story media usage in multi-literacies learning model towards narrative writing skills of the fifth grade of elementary school. The research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method by using a nonequivalent control groups design (ncgd) research design, with the experimental class using photo story media in a multi-literacies learning model and the control class using conventional learning. The population was the fifth grade students of Majalengka District. The research sample consisted of 60 students for experimental class and 60 students for control class. The data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation, by  using statistical data for data analysis. The results showed that there were differences narrative writing skills in the experimental class and the control class. The average of pre-test experimental class reached 57.53 and 75.33 for post-test and the n-gain value was 0.428 in the medium category. While the control class reached 57.40 for pre-test and the 67.1 for post-test and n-gain value of 0.237 is categorized as low level. It indicates that the used of photo story media in multiliteracies learning models is more effective in improving narrative writing skills of the fifth-grade elementary school students compared to conventional learning.Keywords:  multiliteracies learning, narrative writing skills, photo story media. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa, terutama dalam menulis narasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan efektivitas penggunaan media cerita foto dalam model pembelajaran multiliterasi terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi di kelas lima sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control groups (ncgd), dengan kelas eksperimen menggunakan media photo story dalam model pembelajaran multiliterasi dan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dari Kabupaten Majalengka. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 60 siswa kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis data statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan keterampilan menulis narasi di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Keterampilan menulis narasi di kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai pre-test mencapai 57,53 dan post-test mencapai 75,33 dengan nilai n-gain adalah 0,428 dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan di kelas kontrol, rata-rata nilai pre-test mencapai 57,40 dan post-test 67,1 dengan nilai n gain 0,237 dikategorikan rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media cerita foto dalam model pembelajaran multiliterasi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa sekolah dasar kelas lima dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: pembelajaran multiliterasi, keterampilan menulis narasi, media foto cerita.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the mathematical literacy ability of elementary school students by using field trip in mathematics learning. This research tried to find out the general description of field trip starting from planning, implementation and evaluation. The object of field trip is adjusted to the mathematical material so that it gives an effect on students' mathematical literacy. The mathematical material used in this study is rounding and scale. The research design used for the trial was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, by using n-gain test for data anlysis. Data collection is done through mathematical literacy tests and observations of student activities. The results showed an increase in mathematical literacy ability through the post-test and pretest. The first post-test obtained an increase of 54.48% and the second post-test 8.30%. The results of the N-Gain analysis showed the mathematical literacy ability of students in the rounding material and the scale increases from the first pretests of 0.7 and the second pretest of 0.77, of the two results indicate N-gain in the high category so that mathematics learning through the field trip can improve students' mathematical literacy effectively.Keywords: field trips, mathematical literacy, mathematics learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan field trip pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menemukan gambaran umum tentang implementasi field trip mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Lokasi field trip yang dituju disesuaikan dengan materi matematika, sehingga memberikan efek dalam literasi matematis siswa. Materi matematika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah materi pembulatan dan skala. Desain penelitian yang digunakan untuk uji coba adalah one group pretest-posttest design, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji n-gain. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes literasi matematis dan pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis dari hasil postes dan pretes. Postes pertama diperoleh peningkatan sebesar 54.48%, dan postes kedua 8.30%. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi pembulatan dan skala meningkat dari pretes-postes pertama sebesar 0.7 dan pretes-postes kedua sebesar 0.77, dari kedua hasil tersebut menunjukkan N-gain pada kategori tinggi sehingga pembelajaran matematika melalui field trip untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis efektif dalam penerapannya.Kata kunci: field trip, literasi matematis, pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was about developing an entrepreneurial education model in improving the recycling skills of elementary school students as well as to find out the improvement of aspects of knowledge, aspects of attitudes, and aspects of student skills through the entrepreneurship education model. This development research adopted the development design of Borg & Gall. Model validation is done through expert judgment. Model trials were conducted in class V (five) in three elementary schools. Research data obtained through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the development of entrepreneurship education models in improving students' recycling crafts skills in primary schools based on the results of expert validation by 66.94% with a high category. The entrepreneurship education model developed can also increase the entrepreneurial knowledge aspect by 76.16%, the attitude aspect by 79.84%, and the entrepreneurial skills aspect by 82.64%. This means that the increase in all three aspects is in the high category. Therefore, this entrepreneurship education model can be an alternative in developing entrepreneurship education in elementary schools.Keywords: entrepreneurship education, recycling crafts, elementary school students.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kerajinan recycling siswa sekolah dasar sekaligus untuk mengetahui peningkatan aspek pengetahuan, aspek sikap, dan aspek keterampilan siswa melalui model pendidikan kewirausahaan tersebut. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi desain pengembangan dari Borg & Gall. Validasi model dilakukan melalui expert judgment. Uji coba model dilakukan di kelas V (lima) di tiga Sekolah Dasar. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kerajinan recycling siswa di sekolah dasar berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli sebesar 66,94 % dengan kategori tinggi. Model pendidikan kewirausahaan yang dikembangkan juga dapat meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan kewirausahaan sebesar 76,16%, aspek sikap sebesar 79,84%, dan aspek keterampilan kewirausahaan sebesar 82,64%. Artinya peningkatan ketiga aspek tersebut dalam kategori tinggi. Oleh karena itu, model pendidikan kewirausahaan ini dapat menjadi alternatif dalam mengembangkan pendidikan kewirausahaan di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: pendidikan kewirausahaan, kerajinan daur ulang, siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was intended to determine the effect of independence education in Islamic boarding schools on the development of emotional intelligence in Qur’ani Islamic Elementary School of Al-Bahjah Cirebon. This research is a quantitative research using the post facto method. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the determination test. Based on the test of the effect of independence education in Islamic boarding schools on the development of emotional intelligence, this study showed 57.1%, meaning that there is an effect of independence education in Islamic boarding school environment on emotional intelligence of students Qur’ani Islamic elementary school of Al-Bahjah Cirebon while the rest is influenced by other factors. Thus, it is expected that independence education in the boarding school environment can become a role model in the application of independence education in all formal educational institutions so that the children of Indonesia become independent generations who have high emotional intelligence.Keywords: self-reliance, emotional intelligence, Islamic boarding schools. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kemandirian di pondok pesantren terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan emosional siswa Sekolah Dasar Islam Qur’ani (SDIQu) Al-Bahjah Cirebon. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode expost facto. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis melalui uji determinasi. Berdasarkan uji determinasi pengaruh pendidikan kemandirian di pondok pesantren terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan emosional dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan 57,1%, artinya terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kemandirian di lingkungan pondok pesantren terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa SDIQu Al-Bahjah Cirebon. Sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pendidikan kemandirian di lingkungan pondok pesantren dapat menjadi role model dalam penerapan pendidikan kemandirian di seluruh lembaga pendidikan formal agar anak-anak bangsa Indonesia menjadi generasi mandiri yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi.Kata kunci: kemandirian, kecerdasan emosional, pondok pesantren.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of google classroom media on students’ learning outcomes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The research adopts qualitative method, which examines students’ learning outcomes using google classroom media, where researchers apply the media during learning instruction. Data collection techniques used were students’ learning outcomes, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using interactive models and testing the validity of data using tests of credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and cconformability (objectivity). The results showed that the use of google classroom media was effective in improving the students’ learning outcomes of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kaulitatif, yakni menelaah hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menggunakan media google classroom, di mana peneliti menerapkan media tersebut pada saat pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah hasil belajar mahasiswa, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan uji credibility (validitas internal), transferability (validitas eksternal), dependability (reliabilitas), dan Confirmability (objektivitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media google classroom efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media google classroom dapat dijadikan sebagai media alternative dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: media google classroom, e-learning, hasil belajar.Â
