Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student mathematics learning outcomes by applying the TAI type of Cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Research subjects class is IX-A, amounting to 28 students. The data collection method of this research are test, observation, and documentation. The results of classroom action research is showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes, seen from the results of tests between Cycle I and Cycle II, the average value of Cycle I is 73.39, while Cycle II isreached 78.04 resulting in an increase of 4.65. In the mastery aspect of student learning there is a significant increase of 17.86% or 5 students, where is in the first cycle students completed 67.85% or as many as 19 students, while in the second cycle students is completed 85.71% or as many as 24 students from 28 students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) increasing the activity of learning mathematics circle material with applying of the Discovery Learning Model for Class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 1 Bumijawa in the Second Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?, (2) improving the learning outcomes of mathematics in circle material with applying Discovery Learning Model for Class VIII C Students of SMP Negeri 1 Bumijawa in the Second Semester Academic Year 2018/2019?, and (3) knowing the learning process with the Discovery Learning Model to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of Mathematics Circle material for class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 1 Bumijawa in the Second Semester Academic Year 2018/2019?. This research is a class action research. The research subjects are students of class VIII C of SMP Negeri 1 Bumijawa, second semester, academic year 2018/2019. The total number of class VIII C students is 32 students, consisting of 14 male students and 18 female students. Data collection techniques used in the form of tests, observations and documents. The data Analysis of this research is quantitative descriptive analysis and is described qualitatively.

Abstract

The aims this research was to analysis students error using Newman Procedure. The subject this research is student of class in X MM1 SMKN 1 Balongan. Many sample were used by 6 student, consist of 2 students with lowest rank, 2 students with intermediate rank, and 2 students with high rank. The result of the analysis show that the average reading error is 38,86%, the average error in comprehension is 39,43%, the average transformation error is 34,86%, the average processing error is 52,57%, and the encoding error rate is 84,57%. Based on the result of the analysis of the six students, it can be concluded that students rarely write things that are know and asked and rarely write conclusion. This is what causes encoding to always win from the four previous stages.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to describe the learning process, changes in participation, and improvement in learning outcomes for students of class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 4 Tegal in the 2018/2019 academic year using the STAD Cooperative Learning Model assisted by Geogebra. This research is conducted for four months, from September to December 2018. The research is conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Tegal. The subjects of the study are the students of class XI MIPA 1 in 2018/2019 in SMA Negeri 4 Tegal which consisted of 30 students consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The Data sources are the results of knowledge tests, project assignments, participatory observations and attitudes of students in learning. This research uses the Classroom Action Research method. This research is consisted of two cycles. Each cycles are consisted of planning, action, observation, analysis and reflection. Data is collected through test and observation sheets supported by photo documentation and daily notes. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively and is described to obtain a clear picture of the participation and learning outcomes of students during the learning process. The results of this research can be concluded that there is an increase in participation and learning outcomes of the circle through the GeoGebra-assisted STAD Cooperative Model in class XI MIPA 1 students of SMA Negeri 4 Tegal in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) To find out the mathematics learning outcomes of students with the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model whether it will be better than conventional learning models. 2) To find out the average learning outcomes with the type of jigsaw cooperative learning model and Team Games Tournament (TGT) students can reach the KKM. Jigsaw and TGT type of cooperative learning model is one type of cooperative learning that places students in learning groups of 5-8 people who have different abilities, genders and ethnicities or races. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwojati in the 2018-2019 school year, totaling 221 students. Of the seven classes, three classes were randomly selected as research samples, namely class VII E which was treated as a jigsaw class, class VII F as a conventional class and VII G as a TGT class. The results of data analysis show that: 1) Mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwojati taught using the Jigsaw learning model are relatively high with an average value of 81.281 of 32 students. 2) Mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwojati taught using the TGT learning model are relatively high with an average value of 78.781 out of 32 students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the TGT learning model containing ethnomatics on students' mathematical problem solving abilities wake up flat side space (cubes & beams). Effectiveness can be seen from the level of completeness of students 'mathematical problem solving abilities, the comparison of students' mathematical problem solving abilities of the experimental class with the control class and the influence of students 'learning activities on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The type of research in this study is quantitative research, with experimental research methods, and the approach used is the Posttest Control Group Design approach. The population in this study were eighth grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah Bumiayu. The sample used in this study is class VIII A as an experimental class and class VIII B as a control class. The method of sampling is the Cluster Sampling technique. Analysis of the data used are normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test, proposition completeness test, average difference test and simple regression test. The results of this study are the TGT learning model is loaded with effective ethnatics on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This research is bades on the low ability of student’s matematical problem solving. The result of midterm examination on the second semester in mathematical subject for eighth grade student in the academic year 2018/2019 showed that the average score of the students was 56,46, and it means that many of the students have not been able to pass the standard KKM of 70. The objective of this study was to find out effectiveness of Problem Based Learning assisted with BUTIK on the ability of solving mathematical problems especially in Single Data statistics subject. The effectiveness seen from the compare of Problem Based Learning assisted by BUTIK with conventional models on achieving minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and the better comparison or not between BUTIK assisted Problem Based Learning with conventional learning models. The researcher used Posttest-Only Control Design in this research. The samples of this study were chosen by the used of Cluster Random Sampling. The data were analyzed by using normality, homogeneity, average, completeness, and comparison. The result of this study showed that Problem Based Learning assisted with BUTIK was effective in mathematical problem solving’s ability of the students.

Abstract

The Student’s mathematical critical thinking ability is still low, many students are not yet completed with KKM worth 70. This study aims to to know the effectiveness of the Metaphorming learning model assisted by Mind Mapping on mathematical critical thinking ability in the subjects of comparison of related angle trigonometry. The effectiveness seen from the level of mastery of student’s mathematical critical thinking ability, the comparison of mathematical critical thinking of students experiment class with control class and the influence of student’s learning activitiy to student’s mathematical critical thinking ability. The approach is used experimental research with posttest control group design. The population in this research was the students of X grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Paguyangan. In this research used sample is experimental class of X TKJ grade and control class was X TSM grade determined by Cluster Random Sampling technique. The used of data analysis were normality test, homogeneity test, equality tes average, completeness test, appellate test, regression test. The results in this the Metaphorming learning model assisted by Mind Mapping was effective on students mathematical critical thinking ability.

Abstract

The student’s learning process becomes a benchmark for student’s learning process in the school. The success of learning mathematics of 9th grade at SMP N 02 Paguyangan, Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency wich is still low, need further review tthrough coaching methods. One of the most important things in learning is the goal, with the aim of the student’s learning process more directed. Each student has their own goals or targets in learning so that, the benchmark of the successful of learning goal of each student is different. Student’s learning process give an effect for the the successful of learning’s students. Therefore, this study aims to find out the description of the student’s prepare for national mathematics examinations at 9th grade of junior hight school students through coaching. Objects in this study were 9th grade of SMP N 02 Paguyangan wich amounted to 94 students. Data collection was carried out through interviews, and documentation. The results showed that students were able to go through coaching stages with the FIRA conversation model and student coaching summary, and they prepare to national mathematics examinations are significant growth.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah hasil belajar materi bilangan sampai dua angka dan nilai tempat penyusunan lambang bilangan menggunakan kumpulan benda konkret serta cara membacanya melalui metode demonstrasi siswa kelas I semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 SD Negeri Pagiyanten 01 Kecamatan Adiwerna Kabupaten Tegal melalui metode demonstrasi mencapai tuntas belajar 85% mencapai KKM 65. Penelitian menggunakan pendakatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek Penelitian adalah siswa kelas I SD Negeri Pagiyanten 01 yang berjumlah 23 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 15 orang siswa laki-laki dan 8 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pemberian motivasi belajar dan tes prestasi belajar materi soal cerita. Tektik analisis data dengan membandingkan prosentasi aktivitas belajar dan prestasi belajar antar siklus, kemudian menafsirkannya dalam bentuk kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan rata-rata hasil belajar materi soal matematika menyelesaikan masalah yang melibatkan penggunaan sifat-sifat operasi hitung pada bilangan cacah melalui metode demonstrasi siswa kelas I semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 SD Negeri Pagiyanten 01 Kecamatan Adiwerna Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 mencapai hasil belajar dengan rata-rata 74, yaitu dari sebelum tindakan rata-rata hasil belajar 64, setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 67 dan setelah tindakan siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 74.
