Abstract

This research aim is to describe correlation on Suhadi volley ball learningmodel to cognitive ability of elementary school children in SD Negeri Sabdodadi,Bantul, Yogyakarta.This research is using pre experimental method with the one group pre test-post testdesign. The research subject is 26 children in grade 5 SD Negeri Sabdodadi, Bantul,Yogyakarta. Subject received volley ball learning assistance with 4 model of volleyball learning designed by Suhadi in 8 meeting.Research result shows a significant correlation on Suhardi learning model to cognitiveability of elementary school children (t = 3,13 dan p = 0,002).Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Bola Voli, Kognitif.

Abstract

This research was extended of the previous research in all Senior High School, YogyakartaProvince (1996). This research seeks to identify the obstacles teaching of sepaktakraw inJunior High School Yogyakarta, also to explore the degree to which potential problem ineach factor occurs. Population used in this study based on health and physical educationteacher in all Junior High School Yogyakarta with 40 respondents. 16 State Junior HighSchool in Yogyakarta have been used for the population. Questionnaire technique insteadof survey methods is used. We use the descriptive percentage to analyze a research model.The results indicates that 3 potential problem factors on teaching of sepaktakraw in JuniorHigh School. Those factors are curriculum, teacher, and physical and facility education.Physical and facility education factor has difficulty major problems with 51, 67 % comparewith curriculum 41.25 % and teacher factor 32.5 %.Kata kunci: identifikasi, kesulitan, sepaktakraw

Abstract

Kids often experience difficulties in their socialization process. These difficulties will influencetheir social skills. The difficulties in their socialization process could be a consequence ofthe poor up-bringing from their parents. The development in technological fields couldinfluence kid’s socialization process either, because there are so many hi-tech gameswhich unfortunately do not support the socialization process itself. The result which is intendedto be achieved from socialization process is a socially competent man. A man must haveskill, knowledge, and character to be functionable in his society and this could be achievedthrough social learning. Physical education allows kids to be included in social learningwith various physical activities that are in accordance with their growth and development.Playing and game are the real examples of socialization model for kids. Social andemotional expression will be poured down in playing and games activities. Physicaleducation at schools must be socially functionable in developing kid’s interpersonal andsocial competence through the learning it does. The need in using various learning methodsand models which support the development of social and interpersonal competence withoutput other aspects of the kids aside is highly urgent and significant.Keywords : Socialization, Physical Education.

Abstract

Lulusan Perguruan Tinggi adalah kader pemimpin bangsa yangmemerlukan kualitas inteltual, emosi, dan fisik yang baik. Untuk itu pendidikan diPerguruan Tinggi diarahkan kepada peningkatan aspek-aspek tersebut. Muatanmateri kurikulum di sebuah Perguruan Tinggi pada hakekatnya terdiri dari: MKDU,MKU, dan MKK. Sampai saat ini tercatat hanya beberapa Perguruan Tinggi yangmemuat materi bagi peningkatan aspek fisik.Sumbangan aktivitas jasmani bagi kehidupan manusia tidak diragukan, bahkanterdapat keuntungan yang tidak akan didapat selain dengan melakukan aktivitasjasmani. Beberapa hasil penelitian dapat dipercaya untuk mendukung pendapatini. Keuntungan melakukan aktivitas jasmani bagi manusia antara lain: mengurangiresiko penyakit jantung koroner, menurunkan kadar HDL kolesterol, mampu melawankanker usus pada laki-laki, diet untuk mengontrol kadar non insulin upaya pencegahankegemukan dan pemeliharaan berat badan, juga mencegah penyakit kronis lainseperti: osteoporosis pasca menopouse wanita. Keuntungan segera yang dapatdiperoleh adalah tingkat stress yang lebih rendah.Begitu pentingnya kebugaran jasmani bagi manusia, tanpa kecuali mahasiswa diPerguruan Tinggi maka diperlukan strategi pengadopsian dan kesetiaan melakukanaktivitas jasmani. Beberapa teori yang membantu pengadopsian dan kesetiaanberaktivitas jasmani adalah: the Health Belief Model, Theory of Reasoned Action,Theory of Planned Behavior, Social Cognitif Theory, Decision Theory, TranstheoreticalModel.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani dan Strategi Adopsi Kesetiaan Olahraga

Abstract

This study discusses the physical education teachers’ perceptions of State High School as the city of Yogyakartaon the affective domain assessment . The objectives are to determine the amount of physical education teachers’perceptions of State High School as the city of Yogyakarta on the affective domain assessment in general, as wellas indicators of attitudes, interests, self-concept, value s, and morals. This research is a descriptive study with onevariable, namely: physical education teachers’ perceptions of the affective domain assessment. The population is theentire physical education teacher High School as the city of Yogyakarta, which amounted to 22 people. Instrumentused to collect data using questionnaires. To analyze the data collected, researchers using quantitative descriptiveanalysis techniques with percentages. The results showed that physical education teacher’s perceptions of StateHigh School as the city of Yogyakarta on the affective domain assessment in the category with a percentage of36.36 %. In the affective domain indicator, attitude indicator in the high category with the percentage of 54.55 %,an indicator of interest in the category with a percentage of 36.36, an indicator of self-concept in the category withthe percentage of 54.55 %, the indicator value in the high category with a percentage of 50 %, indicators of moralein the category with the percentage of 27.27 % while the biggest indicator in the affective domain is the attitudeindicator with a percentage of 86.52 % approval. From the analysis of the 5 indicators, trend of State High Schoolphysical education teacher as the city of Yogyakarta in the affective domain valuation assessment focuses on theattitude indicator and indicators of interest.

Abstract

Developments in early childhood include physical and motor development, cognitive, social emotional and language.Kindergarten Period (TK) is the most intense period of growth and the busiest. At this time the child already has theskills and ability even though not perfect. Age of the child at this time is a fundamental phase that will determine thefuture life. Therefore, as parents and educators need to understand the development of early childhood particularphysical and motor development. Motor development is strongly influenced by the organs of the brain, stimulatinggrowth through play occurs when a child’s muscles jumping, throwing, or running. In addition, children play withusing all the emotions, feelings, and his mind. Education in kindergarten implemented the principle of “Play whilelearning, or learning while playing “. In accordance with the development , and therefore expected an educatorwhose creative and innovative so that the child can feel happy , calm , safe and comfortable during the learningprocess . Basic motor competence of kindergarten children are expected to be developed when the child is enteringkindergarten children are able ; physical activity in a coordinated manner in order to flexibility and preparation forwriting , balance , agility , and courage train . Abstract

AbstractThe research focuses on accidents, which typically occur during the teaching process of sports at elementary schools that result from teachers’ lack of understanding on the concept of safety. Therefore, the researcher conducted this research to find out the safety concept understanding of elementary school physical educators. This research is a descriptive research that used of only one variable; safety concept understanding. The populations involved in the research were elementary school physical educators from Bantul regency. The researcher randomly selected 175 out of 304 teachers as samples using proportional sampling technique. The instrument used for the research was a questionnaire consisting of 40 items designed by the researcher. The data were analyzed using descriptive-quantitative technique with percentage. The finding of the research shows that the safety concept understanding on the elementary school physical educators were generally good (81,19 %), good from the human aspect (82,22 %), average from the environment aspect (80,14 %), average from the student aspect (70,86 %), good from the teacher aspect (93,60 %), good from the physical aspect (85,34 %), and average from the weather aspect (73,94 %). The result indicates that the teachers were highly aware of their students’ safety during the sport teaching lessons.Keywords: understanding, safetyAbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang kecelakaan dalam proses pembelajaran penjas di SD yang salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pemahaman konsep keselamatan para guru penjas. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep keselamatan guru penjas SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan satu variabel, yaitu: pemahaman konsep keselamatan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru penjas SD se-Kabupaten Bantul. Peneliti menggunakan 175 orang dari 304 orang sebagai sampel yang diambil secara random dengan teknik sampel proporsi atau proportional sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup buatan sendiri yang terdiri atas 40 butir. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep keselamatan guru penjas SD secara umum baik (81,19 %); dari aspek manusia baik (82,22 %); dari aspek lingkungan cukup (80,14 %); dari aspek murid cukup (70,86 %); dari aspek guru baik (93,60 %); dari aspek fisik baik (86,34 %); dan dari aspek cuaca cukup (73,94 %). Hasil ini mengandung makna bahwa guru penjas SD memiliki kepedulian yang cukup tinggi terhadap keselamatan para siswa pada waktu mengikuti pelajaran penjas.Kata Kunci: pemahaman, keselamatan

Abstract

This research is intended to know the effort of improvement for the study ofthe subject of the administration of physical education, in the Physical Education,Health, and Recreation (PJKR) Department, Faculty of Sport Science (FIK), YogyakartaState University (UNY).This research uses the method of Classroom Action Research with two cyclical actions.The first cycle consists of 4 times meetings, which is later evaluated and reflected forthe action of the second cycle. The second cycle contains 4 times meetings. Processof giving actions is equal in its step to the first cycle. Subject of this research is studentsof the 5th semester of the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR) Department, FIK, UNY who are going through the subject of the administration of physicaleducation in 2004, amounting to 35 persons. Setting of actions is conducted in theclass during one semester (12 times of meetings). Instruments’ arrangement is inaccord with the observation guidance made by the researcher himself. The perceptions’agreement with the collaborator is done through information’s exchanges and discussions.Based on the analysis in the course of study, hence it can be concluded that the LearningTournament of Teams (TOBAT)’s pattern, indeed, can improve the learning process ofthe study of the administration of physical education, PJKR Department, FIK, UNY.This improvement is visible: students’ motivation, students’ participation in attendingthe course, students’ cooperation in solving problems, more dynamic and conductivelyclass atmosphere, and increasingly active participation of the lecturers.Keyword: Learning, The Administration of Physical Education.

Abstract

This paper intends to reveal the effort to grow teenager interest on sport. We include juniorhigh school student as the teen age, a transition age. At this age level, they hunger to searchfor self-identity. At this point, the interest on sport not all of it came from internal interest, thusrequiring a way to grow their interest.Sport that gives fun, joy, and unity can be use as a weapon to encourage teens to do sportactivities. Body contact sports can be use as a channel in search for identity. These sportgive a prestige when the teen capable acquired a satisfactory achievement, thus this sportcan be use as a model to encourage sport activities especially to boys.Keyword: Interest, sports, Teenage.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aim to give description on 2002 curriculum development of PhysicalEducation Programme Study, Health and Recreation (PJKR Programme study), FIK UNYthrough analyzing major-minor curriculum system, a curriculum which is effective on thetime of FPOK or Sport and Health Education Faculty of IKIP Yogyakarta, founder of FIKUNY. This curriculum was known as 1992 curriculum or flexible curriculum even it wasmade before Competence Based Curriculum. This curriculum, however, has give descriptionon how graduate competence has been reconstruct for increasing scholars competencyand nation competency in the global era.Keyword: Curriculum, major-minor system.
