Abstract

This study's population, which consists of customers who use online transportation services, tries to ascertain how people in Tiban feel about utilizing it. The questionnaire approach was utilized in the sampling procedure, and as many informants as feasible from various ages and professional backgrounds were given connections. The analysis is a descriptive qualitative method suitable for giving information and facts. The findings of the questionnaire revealed that using online transportation benefits the neighborhood. People may travel easily using online transportation, providing several promotions, and ensuring client safety. The study's findings demonstrate how consumers see internet transportation as a significant and favorable outcome. Public perceptions may affect how people regard online transportation. Because online transportation serves the community, its capabilities and other characteristics can influence its opinions. The quality of the service itself determines whether Internet transportation is seen favorably or unfavorably by society. The performance of online transportation drivers while delivering services to the community supports service success in the service sector. Both negative and positive customer opinions of online transportation will be influenced mainly by the services offered to the community. As the preceding explanation demonstrated, the community, particularly the citizens of Tiban, is impacted by the usage of online transportation based.

Abstract

A bridge is part of a highway or city road, which is part of a city or community development plan. Therefore, the function of a bridge is not determined by the bridge expert. The definition of a successful bridge or structure is safe, functional, affordable, and beautiful. The purpose of bridge planning in Barelang is to connect the road from the Batam road area, and towards the Galang road area to produce more efficient, and effective traffic. The purpose of bridge planning is to find out how the structural calculation of the strength of the planned bridge is a means of connecting the road area to other road areas and reducing traffic congestion on the road. This method is a direct review of the location to be studied with the aim of knowing the existing conditions at the location, and documenting all conditions at the research location, reviewing previous journals with similar research, as an overview of the author's calculations, and analysis in conducting the research to be planned. Based on calculations on the planning of the upper bridge structure, the loading value on the dead load is 0.88307 t / m, and the live load is 18.518 t/m. The author also performs planning calculations in vehicle floor mechanics where the dead load is obtained at 0.41535 t/m, and live load 6.4581 t/m. For implementation using reinforcement must be by the plan so that it becomes an efficient bridge and does not experience a lack of strength in the structure.

Abstract

Bridges are elements or parts of roads; traffic is a global problem. Bridges have a special role in transportation infrastructure because they are directly connected to other places, and used to cross rivers, roads, and valleys. Each structure has different needs, therefore there are already various types of bridges with materials that are often used in bridge construction, namely steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, or post-tensioned concrete. This paper aims to redesign the Canaan Bridge which almost collapsed. The method used in re-planning this bridge is a survey research method, the research location is Jalan Damai RT 07 Kanaan Village, Bontang City with a length of 15-17 meters and a width of 5.8 meters. The results of the research and planning results related to the reconstruction of wooden bridges into composite bridges, it can be concluded that the planning uses FC' 25 concrete quality, HB 450.300.9.16 for girder profiles, and HB 350.175.6.9 for the diaphragm and elastomer placement 400x350x39mm. The analysis of the lower structure uses an abutment measuring 4,073 meters in height and 1,880 meters in width. For the foundation, use a mini pile foundation with a size of 250x250 with a depth of 18 meters.

Abstract

Jalan Pasir Putih to Ocarina is a highway area that is strategically located because it is in the center of Batam city and this road is often passed by because it is connected to the Batam International Port, tourist attractions, places to eat or food court, malls, government offices, and many more. The advantage that exists on this highway is the efficient travel time from Bengkong to Batam Center it greatly saves travel time. Meanwhile, the weakness of this one highway is that it is prone to accidents, so the level of safety for road users is low. This case study was made to evaluate the road segment's performance level and its impact. The analytical method used is index performance analysis by comparing the performance of the current road segment with the expectations of road users with the performance of that segment. The research results show that the existing road performance average index is 2,36, then the average index of road users' importance is 1,16 and the average GAP index is. The purpose of making this case study is expected to increase the safety and comfort of road users.

Abstract

Traffic character is an inseparably interconnected system between volume, speed, and traffic density. In Indonesia, the use of U-turns is often the main impact of road conflicts. Batam is a city with fast economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, many residents from outside Batam come to work. This affects road performance in Batam where more and more residents are concentrated on Jl. Raja Alikelana. During busy times, such as when people come home from work. Long traffic jams often occur which cause vehicles to be diverted to turn around at the next U-turn. The purpose of this paper is to determine the degree of saturation and the level of road service (LoS) with the IHCM 1997 guidelines. From the survey, the total peak flow data on the first line was 1489.7 pcu/hour and the second line was 1371.9 pcu/hour with degrees of saturation per lane 0.96 and 0.88 with the level of road service for each lane on Jl. Raja Alikelana namely E and D.
