Abstract

The selection of the Chairperson of Student Association (HIMA) is a crucial process in student organizations as it influences policy direction and organizational sustainability. However, in practice, the selection process is often influenced by subjective factors, resulting in suboptimal decisions. Therefore, a method is needed to assist in making objective and measurable decisions. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting the HIMA IFSI S1 Chairperson at STMIK Mardira Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach with data obtained through questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1-5. Three HIMA Chairperson candidates were assessed based on five criteria: leadership, organizational experience, responsibility, communication skills, and vision and mission.

Abstract

Final year students often face increasing academic pressure along with the demands of completing final assignments and graduation targets. This pressure has the potential to cause stress that impacts students' psychological condition and academic achievement. This study aims to identify the stress levels of final year students by utilizing a Decision Support System based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Research data were obtained through a questionnaire compiled based on several academic and non-academic criteria. The obtained values were then processed using the SAW method stages to produce preference values that are used as the basis for classifying stress levels into low, medium, and high categories. The results showed that the majority of students were in the moderate stress category. These findings are expected to provide an objective picture of the stress conditions of final year students and become a consideration in developing academic mentoring strategies. Abstract

The selection of the chief executive for Porseni 2.0 at BEM STMIK Mardira Indonesia plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and overall quality of the event. The current decision-making process relies heavily on subjective judgment, which may result in biased or inconsistent outcomes. To address this issue, an objective evaluation framework is required to assess candidates based on predetermined criteria. The Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) is utilized in this study due to its ability to highlight score disparities through exponential weighting. This research aims to identify relevant assessment criteria, apply the MPE method in evaluating candidates, and determine the most suitable individual based on the final ranking. The findings are expected to support the student executive board in making decisions that are transparent, measurable, and more accountable.

Abstract

Lighting on a volleyball court plays a critical role in ensuring visual comfort and player safety during evening training sessions and matches. However, many existing installations still rely on conventional, manually operated lighting that lacks dynamic control over color and intensity, limiting both user experience and energy efficiency. This study proposes the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)–based smart lighting system for a volleyball court that incorporates color-control capabilities using RGB LED luminaires. The system is built on a NodeMCU (ESP8266) microcontroller as the main controller, a Wi‑Fi network for communication, and the Blynk application as a mobile interface for remote operation. The research follows a system design and development methodology, covering requirements analysis, hardware–software co‑design, implementation, and experimental evaluation. Test results demonstrate that the system can reliably control on/off status, brightness levels, and RGB color in real time through the Blynk interface while maintaining stable wireless connectivity. These findings indicate that the proposed IoT-based smart lighting solution simplifies lighting management, enhances the flexibility of illumination, and offers potential gains in energy efficiency, making it a promising approach for modern, efficient, and interactive volleyball court lighting. Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) as a portfolio and project monitoring tool at Zee Studio. The main problems encountered were the difficulty in visualizing dynamic project distribution and limited access to spatial documentation. This system was developed using Agile development methods with a Scrum approach, which allows for rapid and adaptive feature iteration. The technologies used include PHP (MySQLi), JSON, and the Leaflet.js library for digital map management. Through several Sprint cycles, the system successfully integrated mapping features with project status indicators, automatic statistics, and multimedia information pop-ups that support narrative descriptions and photo galleries. Test results showed that the Agile approach was effective in producing a responsive system, secure from SQL Injection vulnerabilities, and able to increase marketing conversions through the integration of Meta Ads Pixel and WhatsApp API.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a security audit of the Academic Information System using the COBIT 5 framework in the APO13 (Manage Security) domain. The methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data obtained are then analyzed to determine the maturity level and identify gaps between current conditions and expected conditions. The results of this study indicate the capability level of the APO13 process, namely Level 0 (Incomplete Process) with status L (Largely Achieved), which means that most of the information system security management has been achieved. Level 1 (Performed Process) with a level achievement of 50% with status P (Partially Achieved), which means that information system security has been partially achieved. Furthermore, Levels 2, 3, and 5 obtained average results above 65% with status L. Keywords: COBIT 5, APO13, Information Systems Audit, Information Systems Security.
