Abstract

Educators often face significant administrative burdens from tasks like lesson planning and reporting, which impede efficiency and reduce direct student interaction time. This research aimed to design and develop a backend architecture for a learning activity management (KBM) application featuring a novel dual-mode system to serve both independent teachers and formal institutions. Employing an Agile methodology and the Django framework, the study developed a robust backend with a comprehensive database, models, views, and URL configurations. White-box testing was conducted to validate the internal logic. The findings confirm the successful implementation of a dual-mode architecture using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), which effectively segregates data and permissions according to user roles. The developed prototype demonstrates a scalable and secure foundation for the application. The primary implication of this research is a validated architectural model for multi-tenancy educational software, offering a practical solution to streamline administrative workflows and enhance educator productivity. Future work should focus on frontend development and user acceptance testing.

Abstract

Most of the junior high school graduates want to continue their education to vocational schools, this can be evidenced by the large number of junior high school graduates who take the entrance exam to vocational schools. The unfortunate thing is that they are not mature in choosing a major. This kind of situation has an impact on the education costs that have already been incurred, both by the parents of the students and by the government that subsidizes the school to be useless because the student does not have adequate abilities for the major he has chosen, sometimes there are students who drop out. Based on the information obtained from the new student admission committee, the number of departments at SMK Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya City consists of five majors, namely the department of light vehicle engineering, software engineering, network computer engineering, motorcycle engineering and marketing. The major is based on the student's choice when registering by listing their interests for major 1 and major 2. In addition, the major is determined by grades. The system to support the decision of admission and selection of majors with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and Profile Matching, is expected to help the admission committee of new students in determining majors for students. This decision support system is web-based so that it can be accessed anywhere by prospective students to register online, then the data will be processed to determine the right major for each student.

Abstract

The increasing number of services at the Office of Public Works, Building Construction, and Spatial Planning (Cipta Bintar) of Bandung City has encouraged the agency to develop a web-based platform to simplify and accelerate service processes. One of the features provided on this platform is the public complaint service. However, the existing complaint feature still has several shortcomings, including the absence of a report status tracking function, the lack of complaint category classification to ensure reports are directed to the appropriate department, and the absence of a priority determination mechanism for complaint handling. So far, complaints have only been processed based on the order of submission, without considering the level of urgency or potential impact. This research proposes a solution by developing a web-based public complaint system that integrates the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as the core of the prioritization process. SAW is chosen because it enables objective and systematic calculations based on five main criteria: Level of Urgency, Potential Impact, Type of Complaint, Complexity of the Problem, and Report Duration. Through the implementation of SAW, the system is not only able to provide report status information and category classification but also deliver measurable recommendations for handling priorities. The results of this study indicate that the application of the SAW method is the key to improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness of public complaint services at Cipta Bintar Bandung City, as it successfully addresses the limitations of the previous system that relied solely on submission order

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance technological literacy among senior high school students. The development process adopted the ADDIE Model stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), involving media experts, subject-matter experts, and a trial involving 32 tenth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and pre-test/post-test instruments. Expert evaluations showed that the interactive learning media achieved a "Highly Feasible" category (mean score 4.35 out of 5) in terms of visual design, interactivity, and content relevance. Crucially, a paired samples t-test on the technology literacy scores demonstrated a statistically significant increase in students' abilities after using the media (mean pre-test $= 68.25$; mean post-test $= 85.10; p < 0.001$). This reflects their enhanced ability to access, understand, and utilize digital tools and information more efficiently. Therefore, the PjBL-based interactive learning media is considered highly relevant and effective for use in Informatics learning at the senior high school level.
