Abstract

Economic developmentrequires company to work better and be able to survive from anintense competition between companies. In modern era, telecommunication and propertyindustries are the mostdeveloped industry. In maintaining the continuity of business, there areseveral strategies that can beundertakenby company, one of which is the incorporation of abusiness entity such as an acquisition.The purpose of this research is to find differentiation among stock price, stock tradingvolume and stock return before and after acquisition on the telecommunication and propertyindustry, acquisition of PT. XL Axiata Tbk. with Axis Telekom Indonesia and acquisition betweenPT. Agung Podomoro Land Tbk. and PT. Graha Cipta Karisma.The results show a significant difference to stock price before and after acquisitioninformation of PT. XL Axiata Tbk. and PT. Agung Podomoro Land Tbk., but no significantdifference on trading volume and stock return (indicated by abnormal return to see informationcontent from that event). Based on these results it can be concluded that investor opinion on theacquisition information is normal so the trading volume and stock return are not changesignificantly. The significant difference of stock price may be due to investors's views about theacquisition and its accordance with the theory saying that acquisition can improve companiesperformance.

Abstract

The means of transportation in the present day is an important need for human.Untuk support human mobility of today is high then the necessary means of efficient and adequate transportation. This is supported by the desire of people to have a cheap means of transportation, lively, and economical. In addition, it can accommodate daily activities. In particular, this study discusses the purchase of Honda Supra X 125 CW Astra Motor Siliwangi motorcycle.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product and price innovation on the purchase decision of Honda Supra X 125 CW motorcycle. This type of research uses quantitative methods with research type eksplanatory research, with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population in this research are buyers and users of Honda Supra X 125 CW Astra Motor Siliwangi with the number of samples taken is 95 respondents by Slovin method. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, correlation test, determination test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. In this research is assisted by computer program to process data that is SPSS.Based on the results of the study note that partially, product innovation and price have a strong relationship strong enough to the purchase decision. This is indicated by the results of multiple correlation coefficient test of 0.490. Significantly, the variables of product innovation and price have a positive effect indicated by the value of F arithmetic bigger than F table that is equal to 15,291> 3,952.Suggestions that can be given are PT. Astra Honda Motor should make changes to the body of Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle to look fresh and keep up with the times. Also consider the price to be more affordable or at the same price with the addition of features and technology on the Honda Supra X 125.

Abstract

Many of the problems faced by the beauty clinic. One of them is customer loyalty. Customer loyalty is influenced by several factors, including the image and quality service. In addition to improving satisfaction also affects customer loyalty. Object of this study is Monalizha Skin Care Semarang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of image and quality service on satisfaction and also its influence on customer loyalty in Monalizha Skin Care Semarang. The population in this study is Monalizha Skin Care Semarang customers, totaling 864 people. The study sample 90 respondents, the sampling technique is done using random sampling methods. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis and multiple, T test and F test. Variables quality service most impact on satisfaction. The coefficient of determination of quality service to the satisfaction of 49.6%, which means the impact of service quality on satisfaction of 49.6%. Regression analysis showed that the image and service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Conclusion, image and quality service effect on satisfaction and customer loyalty. This proves that the image and good quality service will increase customer satisfaction and ultimately create customer loyalty. The author suggested that Monalizha Skin Care Semarang constantly trying to improve customer satisfaction as a key to increasing customer loyalty by improving the image and quality of service. Things that can be done is to increase the professionalism, innovation of products, maintaining product safety levels, increasing the excellent service and others.

Abstract

Competitions among body treatment and cosmetic’s industry had highlyincreased over the time. This escalation could be seen from the outstanding number ofcosmetics either local or international product which revolved in the market. Lipstick wasone of the cosmetic considered to be needed the most by women for their daily activities.Generally, lipstick used by women to make their face looked brighter and avoided palecomplexion. Specifically this research was conducted to analyze the sale of Lipstickproduct from Sari Ayu. It concerned on the problem of insufficient sales of the product inthe last four years. Moreover, in 2014 and 2015 the sales of the lipstick product showed adecline.This research was conducted to analyze how big the influence of the product quality andbrand image toward product repurchase is; by using Sari Ayu’s consumers satisfaction inSemarang as intervening variable. Population of this research was the consumers of SariAyu lipstick in Semarang in which 100 respondents as the sample of the research. Thewriter used purposive sampling as the technique of data collection. Analytical techniqueused in this research was quantitative technique by using OLS multiple regression.The result of this research showed that variable of product quality, brand image andconsumer’s satisfaction influenced repurchase variable either simultaneously or partially.It could be inferred from the multiple regression analysis that variable of product quality(X1) had the most dominant influence.Advice from this research was that Sari Ayu’s company should make an innovation to theproduct (raw material’s innovation) in order to make long-lasting’s lip color. In addition,the innovation in designing the packaging should be considered as well as in advertisingthe product.

Abstract

Beragam faktor dapat mempengaruhi konsumen dalam mempercayakan tempat berbelanja. Citra merek yang baik dapat dijadikan kekuatan oleh perusahaan ritel untuk menarik konsumen. Harga produk yang murah dan terjangkau dengan daya beli konsumen pun akan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra merek dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Ramai Swalayan Peterongan Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen Ramai Swalayan Peterongan tetapi tidak diketahui jumlah pastinya. Sampel yang diambil adalah 100 orang sesuai yang disarankan oleh Hair. Penyebarannya menggunakan dengan purposive sampling. Skala pengukurannya menggunakan skala Likert. Pada analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan uji regresi berganda dengan program aplikasi SPSS 16.0. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kategori citra merek sebesar 70 persen menyatakan baik. Kategori harga diketahui sebesar 46 persen menyatakan murah. Kategori keputusan pembelian diketahui sebesar 57 persen adalah tinggi. Variabel citra merek berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 15 persen. Variabel harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 43,2 persen. Variabel citra merek dan harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 17,4 persen. Hal ini berarti semakin baik citra merek, dan semakin murah harga yang ditawarkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian sebaiknya Ramai Swalayan Peterongan menjaga citra mereknya khususnya dalam kenyamanan dan pelayanan, dan mempertahankan harga yang murah.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of gaining an understanding of compensation and motivation for employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Fumira Semarang. The research sample borrowed 72 respondents in the production department. This study consists of 17 indicators, 3 variables and 3 hypotheses. The analytical tool used is SPSS 19.0 for Windows with validity test, reliability test, test coefficient test, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, and significance test (t test and F test). The results of this study show a partial comparison (X1) positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), based on the results of a simple linear regression test Y = 3.509 + 0.436 X1 with a t count of 15.602 greater than t table of 1.666 which shows Ho rejected and Ha accepted . Comparison coefficient of compensation to employee performance of 0.881 which means it has a strong and direct relationship between compensation and employee performance. The coefficient of compensation determination is 77.3%. The results of respondents' answers to compensation for compensation of employees of PT. Fumira is in the good category of 38.9%. While motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with results Y = 2.929 + 0.551 X2, t arithmetic motivation of 14.895 is higher than t table of 1.666 which shows Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Motivation coefficient of 0.872 indicates a strong and direct relationship to employee performance with the coefficient of determination of motivation on employee performance of 75.7%. The results of respondents' answers to the motivation of PT. Fumira is in the good category of 55.6%. Variable compensation (X1) and motivation (X2) with positive and significant simultaneous effect on employee performance (Y) with the results Y = 2.226 + 0.250X1 + 0.282X2 with an F count of 147.777 is greater than the F table of 3.13 selected Ha accepted and Ho refused. The coefficient value of 0.914 shows a strong relationship between compensation and motivation on employee performance. Based on the results of the study, PT. Fumira Semarang is expected to provide appropriate and timely compensation to employees and increase the level of payments and bonuses as a form of company appreciation for its employees. Companies are expected to provide training and coaching more often for employees to create expertise and improve the skills of employees.

Abstract

The existence and achievement of an organization while gaining its goal is cannot be divorced from human resource factor. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of organizational culture and work motivation toward employee's performance through job satisfaction. The type of this research is explanatory research, while the techniques of collecting data are questionnaire and interview. The amount of sample in this research is sixty six respondents with sampling census technique. Likert Scale is used as measuring scale, The technique of quantitative analysis uses validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, determination coefficient, significance test (t test and F test), and path analysis. The result of this research shows that organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2), whether simultaneously or partially, influencing job satisfaction (Z) and employee's performance (Y). Based on path analysis result, the direct influence of organizational culture or work motivation toward employee's performance are bigger than indirect influence through job satisfaction. Based on these results, it is suggested that the company should improve the organizational culture including increasing employee motivation and giving reward to the employee in the form of direct honour of superiors, so that they can be proud of their work and encourage them to work more optimally.

Abstract

This research is caused by the development of Medicinal herbs business especially “jamu” which is still needed by the people of Indonesia. This phenomenon characterized by many brands of herb medicines such as Tolak Angin, Antangin, Bintang Todjoe etc. Tolak Angin still become market leader in Indonesia marked by top position on Top Brand Index in 2014 – 2016. This research’s purpose is to know the influence of quality products, advertising, and brand image of tolak angin, The type of this research is explanatory research, with data collection techniques through The questionnaire and the interview. Using the technique of sampling with purposive sampling dan accidental sampling. Sample in this research were 100 respondent consists of Tolak Angin Users in Kota Semarang. The Technique to collect data in this research through the questionnaire and interview. This research uses qualitative analysis technique and quantitative analysis technique. Quantitative analysis use validity test, realibility test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, determination coefficient, signification test that Being tested use SPSS for Windows. The results showed that there are positive effect of quality products to using decisions, positive effect of advertising to using decision, positive effects of brand image to using decisions; quality products, advertising, and brand image has a positive impact using decisions.Based on the research cause advices for the quality of the product Tolak Angin’s composition more adjusted to the needs of users in overcome, on the Tolak Angin packaging expected furnished in a saving manner to keep Tolak Angin that not easy to break, and change the composition to be saver for users although Tolak Angin has given the warning behind the packaging. Advertising Tolak Angin on television or other media become clearer and fuller, and The Tolak Angin Advertising should add more values the advantage with create The unique advertising compared to similar products so as to be more to remember and the information become clearer. Brand image of Tolak Angin is good but have to be improved a healthy lifestyle with drink medicines herbs so the user perceptions to Tolak Angin brand image more better in terms of lifestyle users.

Abstract

The soundness of the bank is used as a benchmark for bank management to assess whether the management of the bank had was done in line with the sound banking principles and in accordance with applicable regulations. PT.BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang is one company that is engaged in banking carries on business as Rural Bank. In the normal course of business of PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang experience performing loans which fluctuate each year thereby affecting the company's financial performance and earnings. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of financial performance with CAMEL method to total loans at PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research. In this study took a sample of 4-year quarterly financial statements of the year 2009 - 2012. Technique analysis data using simple linear regression and multiple regression, with significance testing using the t test and F test with SPSS tools 17.Based on the results of analysis of CAR variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 11.3%. KAP variables did not affect the amount of lending and contributed 0.02%. PPAP variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed by 52.5%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 7.2%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 21.2%. LDR variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed 70.7%. NPL variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 0.03%. Overall financial performance of the variable does not affect the amount of lending. Conclusions and Suggestions for the company. Financial performance PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi in healthy condition in rate of the years and have strange influence to total loans.Company mus be order to always strive to maintain the condition of its financial performance and careful - cautious in lending to bank soundness is maintained with a healthy category. Because PPAP and LDR influence on lending.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that affect stock price category of property and real estate inthe Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011 until 2014, providing information and as a basis for decision making forthe company and investors.This type of research is explanatory. This research is used to explain the factors that influence the stockprice variable. This research uses a sample of 37 companies, that are included in the category of propeti andreal estate for 3 years listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and has a complete set of financial statements.The sampling technique of this research is purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is factor analysis,correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, t test, multiple linear regression, andf test.Variables analyzed using anti-image coefficients MSA with criterion variable has a value Measures OfSampling Adequacy (MSA) is more than 0.50. Of the six variables studied were PER, DER, ROE, ExchangeRate, Inflation and BI Rate, the coefficient of anti-MSA image shows the variables that have a value MeasuresOf Sampling Adequacy (MSA) is more than 0.50 PER, DER and ROE. Variable PER, DER and ROE wereanalyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression.Based on the results of analysis show that in partial PER (Price Earning Ratio) has no effect on stockprices, DER (Debt To Equity Ratio) positive and significant effect on stock prices and ROE (Return On Equity)positive and significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously PER (Price Earning Ratio), DER (Debt To EquityRatio), ROE (Return On Equity) positive and significant effect on stock prices.The conclusion of this research show DER (Debt To Equity Ratio), ROE (Return On Equity) partiallyaffect stock prices and PER (Price Earning Ratio), DER (Debt To Equity Ratio), ROE (Return On Equity)simultaneously affect the stock price category of property and real estate in the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011to 2014. Based on these results, it can form the information and as a basis for decision making for investors andcompanies in their policy. The need for continued research by others to determine the effect of the variables thatare not included in this research. This variable is part of the company's financial ratios that affect stock pricesand require a more in-depth.
