Abstract

Human resources play a major role to run the life of the organization. Various factors can affect the performance of employees, including intra-role and extra-role behaviors. Extra-role behavior or better known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and self efficacy are important factors for better employee performance. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and self efficacy on the performance of CV Tirta Makmur Ungaran production employees. The type of research used is explanatory research, with a total sample of 67 respondents using a saturated sampling approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire with Likert measurement scale. Data analysis methods used are validity and reliability, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and significance test (t test and F test) with SPSS For Windows 21.0. The results of this study indicate that the variables Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and self efficacy have a significant and positive influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Partially OCB has an effect of 31% on employee performance. Self efficacy has a significant (partial) effect on employee performance by 25.5%. While together OCB and self efficacy have a significant influence of 37.1% on employee performance. Based on the results of research on the magnitude of the effect of OCB and self efficacy, it is recommended that companies pay more attention to the extra behavior of production employees of CV Tirta Makmur Ungaran and increase employee confidence to work better every day.

Abstract

Product development is one thing that is important and should be done by a business that sells a product that can be accepted by consumers. This study aims to determine the strategy of product development at Batik Semarang 16 and determine the impact of internal and external factors that encourage the development of products. Methods of data collection using interviews and observation. Key informants in this study were employees of Batik Semarang 16. This study used qualitative analysis techniques.The survey results revealed that the product development strategy conducted by Batik Semarang 16 is to develop a design motif of products and also adding new product lines. Jug external factors play a role in encouraging the development of more effective products

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is determined by the quality of service and trust in the service. Desired by customers, so that quality assurance becomes the key quality for a company and customer trust becomes important in improving transaction service in Bank. Bank BRI is one of the banks that utilize banking facilities contained in the mobile phone to provide one convenience to customers and is a distinctive feature. BRI named their banking services products under the name of BRI mobile banking.This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and trust on customer satisfaction BRI mobile banking Branch Office Semarang Pandanaran Sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who are users of BRI mobile banking.This study concluded that quality product, service quality and promotion influential positive and significantly to visitor satisfaction. This study concluded that the quality of tourism products, quality of service and promotion of visitor satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. service quality variables have the greatest influence of other variables. The results obtained by analyzing primary data using validity, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test) in both directions.As for suggestions that can be given that the security of mobile banking services should be improved so as to reduce the level of login failure and reduce crime in cyberspace.

Abstract

The government's efforts to boost growth in Indonesia islamic banks based on the fact that most of the Muslim community at this time look forward to a healthy banking system and reliable. In deciding to save in Islamic Banking, the reference group is one of the factors that can influence consumer decisions. In addition, consumer knowledge is also one of the elements of the psychological factors that influence consumer decisions. But, with the total of marketshare just 3.67 percent, total customer of Islamic bank are low for total customer of national banking in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of reference group and knowledge to interest to have saving at Islamic Banking Semarang. The results showed that the total effect of reference group and knowledge on interest saving by 33.9 percent.

Abstract

Sariayu is one of the brands that creates beauty care products and has been around for decades. There are many new local product whose quality is just as good as previous products. Sariayu has a significant decrease in sales in the past year. Sariayu also didn’t occupy the position as one of the list of favorite local cosmetic brands in Indonesia for the past 3 years. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and brand trust on purchasing decisions through buying interest as an intervening variable. This type of research is explanatory research and sampling uses nonprobability sampling techniques, purposive sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and google form. The sample used was 100 respondents Sariayu users in the city of Semarang. This study uses quantitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of the t test and F test, and sobel analysis to test the effect of intervening variable. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on brand image and brand trust on buying interest, brand image and brand trust on purchasing decisions, and positive and significant influence of buying interest on purchasing decisions. Based on the sobel test results, buying interest can partially mediate the influence of brand image on purchasing decisions and can partially mediate the influence of brand trust on purchasing decisions. Suggestions for this research are that Sariayu further enhances the visualization of advertisements and adds variety to its products

Abstract

Human resources is one factor that strategic and fundamental in the organization. The role of human resources will determine the success or failure of the organization in achieving its vision and mission that has been set. In order to determine the extent to which the presence, role and contribution of human resources in achieving organizational success, of course necessary performance measurement. Employee performance marketing can be seen from the achievement of sales targets, but there are employees who have not been able to realize a given target. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture, career development and compensation to employee performance marketing division of PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang. This study uses census sampling sampling techniques against 38 employees of the marketing department of PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through validity and reliability test. While data analysis is done through a simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, t-test and F test. The results of the study showed that there are significant positive and significant correlation between organizational culture, career development and compensation to employee performance marketing division of PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang. Advice can be given is to further increase the focus on the variable compensation for the performance of employees is increasing.

Abstract

Bread is one of the sources of carbohydrates beside rice. Currently, the function of bread is not only eaten for breakfast but also for lunch and dinner because bread is simple food to eat for consumers with multitask activity. Sari Roti product which has variety of bread such as white bread, sweet bread, sandwich, and dorayaki produced by PT. Nippon Indosari,Tbk. This research aims to know the influence of Pice, and Product Quality towards Buying Decision of Product Sari Roti in Semarang. Sample in this research are 100 consumers who have purchased and consume product of Sari Roti. Data analysis that is used are correlation test, simple regression, multiple regression, and classic assumption proceed by SPSS Program. The result of this research shows that price and product quality positive influence towards buying decision partially and simultantly. The conclusion for this research is the better Product of Sari Roti price and product quality are, the higher buying decision that is done by the consumers of Product Sari Roti in Semarang.

Abstract

Human resource is one resource that has a very important role in a variety of sectors , because human resources is a factor to mobilize other resources . Human resources need special attention in handling from its management to improve employee performance. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between Transactional Leadership (X1), Cultural Organization (X2) on employee performance (Y2) Through the Work Motivation (Y1). The population of this study were 70 employees as respondent. Likert scale was used as measurement scale. Linear regression and path analysis were used in the data analysis with SPSS 20.00. The results of partially  data processing shows that each Transactional Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Work Motivation influence the performance of employees in PT. Pura Nusapersada unit PM 8 Kudus. The result of path analysis that work motivation as a mediator "boosters" to employee performance due to the indirect effect of 0.383 on the variable of organizational culture. Based on these results, the management of PT. Pura Nusapersada need to consider the application of Transactional Leadership and Organizational Culture as a form of work motivation to improve employee performance. In terms of leadership, a leader must give attention to employees to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Marketing performance reflects the company's success in the face of stiff competition. One of the factors that affect the marketing performance is competitive advantage. Competitive advantage itself is affected by market orientation and services innovation. Non-star hotels in Semarang has a low occupancy rate in conditions of intense competition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of market orientation and service innovation to marketing performance through competitive advantage at the non-star hotel in the city of Semarang. The study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is explanatory. With the number of respondents are 50 hotels. Data were obtained through a questionnaire instrument with tools of analysis, SPSS version 17.0. The results showed that the market orientation and service innovation affect the marketing performance through competitive advantage. Market orientation has a greater influence than the service innovation. Competitive advantage is a full mediating variables for market orientation and services innovation. Suggestions for the company to further enhance attention to services innovation based on market information obtained so that the marketing performance of non-star hotels in Semarang can be improved.

Abstract

Nowadays, cafe has become one of the most promising business run by businessman and could attract people’s interest alongside with the modern lifestyle, especially for adolescents and adults to enjoy their products or even just hanging out with friends. Generally, cafe gives nice atmosphere on its room, unique concept, and modern which basically different compare by restaurants. Social media also has big contribution through market their products and cafe’s room pictures or gain endorsement to interest people easily. One of cafe in Semarang that still exist until now is Cafe Stove Syndicate. This research has its aim to determine and measure the effect of service quality, price, and product diversity to customer satisfaction. This research is an explanatory research and the technique of collecting data used is non probability sampling with the approach of purposive sampling and incidental sampling, and collecting data by using questionnaire as its instrument. The amount of samples that had taken is 100 respondents. This research apply quantitative analysis, with validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple and multiple regression test, significance of t test, and significance of F test using SPSS for Windows 21 Version The result of this research shows that service quality, price, and product diversity have significant and positive impact to customer satisfaction. According to the analysis, service quality has the amount of 18,4% impact contribution. Price has the amount of 22,8% impact contribution, and product diversity has the amount of 19,4%. Simultaneously, service quality, price, and product diversity have the amount of 35,1% impact contribution to customer satisfaction.
