Abstract

Background of the study of this research is the development of manufacturing companies, especially tfor ice cream company. The most appropriateso that ads can be received positively by the society by choosing the celebrity endorser that had good and positive credibility. The purpose of this study is discovery to influence of credibility for celebrity endorser toward purchasing decisions for magnum ice cream product on student of Undipof the decision the purchase of products ice cream magnum on students of undip. The population in this research are students D3 and S1 are studying of Undip which are registered as an active students. The sampling techniques used multi stage sampling by determining the number of respondents as muny as 96. The result of this research showed that trustworthiness, attractiveness, and expertise became the part of credibility for celebrity endorser in giving the impact for Undip students to make a decisions for buying Magnum ice cream produtt. In regression analysis against variable attraction, they had the most dominant effect in the amount of 0.279. The suggestions that can be conveyed for this research are giving innovation flavors and design on magnum ice cream, making an attractive advertising concept, and expanding market distribution.

Abstract

The purpose of study is to determine the effect of brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty Mustika Ratu. This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique uses non probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling method. The number of samples taken were 97 respondents from Mustika Ratu customers at the UNDIP FISIP. The results showed that brand image had an effect on customer loyalty by contributing 57.9% while the rest was influenced by factors other than brand image. Product quality has an effect on customer loyalty by contributing 78.7% while the rest is influenced by factors other than product quality. Customer satisfaction has an effect on customer loyalty by contributing 78.6% while the rest is influenced by other factors besides customer satisfaction. While the influence of brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction together affect customer loyalty by 52.8% while the remaining 47.2% is a contribution from other factors. Based on the calculation of the F test shows that there is a positive influence between brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction. This means that the better the brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction, the higher the level of customer loyalty Mustika Ratu. Based on the results of the study, the author can give advice to PT Mustika Ratu to maintain a natural and traditional image that has been adhering to the brand and continues to improve product quality both in terms of packaging and raw materials to be able to meet customer expectations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the company's reputation and quality of service to customer retention and satisfaction as an intervening variable in the airline Sriwijaya Air Semarang . This type of research is explanatory , with the technique of collecting data through a questionnaire. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique , the sample of 100 peoples who are service users airline Sriwijaya Air Semarang . The method of analysis used in this study is Part Analiyst or Path Analysis.Based on the calculations show that there is a variable corporate reputation , quality of service , and satisfaction positive and significant impact on customer retention is equal to 21.0 % . Based on the analysis of pathways directly influences have a greater value than the indirect effect , it shows the customer will be immediately have a sense of retention of the services of the airline Sriwijaya Air flight.

Abstract

Stock Price influenced by demands and supplies of investor and issuer in stock exchanges. One of the investor aims in investing on company stocks are to get a high return. However, the higher return you get, the higher risk you take, so investor has to analyzing them to be balanced. To analyze that issue, Capital Asset Pricing Model is one of the solutions to analyze the stocks that deserves to be invested However, on the one hand CAPM has unrealistic assumptions in determining expected returns as well as risks and solve problems related to expected returns and risks. CAPM is not the only one model to describe it, so research is needed on the influence Capital Asset Pricing Model through stock prices.The aim of this Research is to understand the influence of the Capital Asset Pricing Model through the stock prices. The Population of this research is 27 companies that are listed on the banking sub sectored stocks in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014 - 2016. Type of the research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis method used the coefficient correlation determination coefficient, simple regression, and significance test (uji t) on SPSS 16.0. Capital Asset Pricing Model is a model that has an expected return as the end result. There are several components in calculating the expected return, consist of actual return, market return, risk free return, and beta risk. Data analysis is done by testing the end result of Capital Asset Pricing Model in the form of expected return with stock price. The test results show Capital Asset Pricing Model has a positive and significant impact on stock prices. So if the component on the Capital Asset Pricing Model rises, the stock price will rise. As a suggestion, there will be better if a company undertake a safe investment strategy such as considering Capital Asset Pricing Model components to get high stock price.

Abstract

PT. Meubelindo Semarang is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of furniture, products manufactured by PT.Meubelindo is kind of teak garden furniture. As a company engaged in production activities, motivation and the work environment is important to the company. The research was motivated by the last four years of production data from the PT. Meubelindo Semarang has decreased and has not reached the specified targets. This study aimed to determine how much effect the motivation and the work environment on productivity. This study used explanations research using questionnaire as the instrument which distributed to 70 production employees of PT. Meubelindo Semarang. The results of the analysis prove that the motivation variable t value (6.876)> t table (1.9955) which means Ha received thus no significant effect between motivation and productivity of employees with the close relationship of 0.410. In the work environment variables t count (3.577)> t table (1.9955) which means Ha accepted, thus no significant effect between the work environment on employee productivity with the closeness of the relationship 0.158. While jointly acquired F calculation (32.519)> F table (3.1296) which indicates that the Ha accepted that hypothesis proved that there was an effect between the variables of motivation and the work environment on employee productivity, with the closeness of 0.493.

Abstract

The model of this research is testing the influence of product quality and advertising to purchase decisions Wardah brand cosmetics through brand image as an interveving variable. The population on this study were consumers of Wardah cosmetics on students collage faculty political and social science of Diponegoro University. The research sample of 98 respondens and the sampling technique used was propotional sampling.Measurement scala using a Likert scale. Data analysis used regression test, correlation test, determination test, significance test, path analysis, sobel test and mediation test with SPSS version 16 aplication. The results of this study note that the quality of the product significantly influences the brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.905)> t table (1.985), it is proven that there is a significant influence of advertising with brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.346)> t table (1.985), proved the influence Significant product quality with a purchase decision (5,967)> t table (1,985), evidenced by the significant influence of advertising with a purchasing decision with a value of t arithmetic (3.685)> t table (1,985), evidenced the influence of brand image with a purchase decision t arithmetic (5,951) )> t table (1,985), it is proven that there is a significant influence between product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image with a value of t arithmetic (2,930)> t table (1,985) and evidenced the influence of advertising on purchasing decisions through a brand image with a value of t arithmetic (3,663)> t table (1,985).

Abstract

Febrisa.pm@gmail.comAbstrack: Retail’s consumers who tend to do an impulse buying. One of the retail in Semarang is Robinson. Basedon the preliminary study, there are some problems in there. The problems are the bad quality of the products, thebad display of the products, and consumers have less hedonic shopping motives. Total sales revenue whichdecreased in 2014. This research aims to determine the effect of discount, merchandising, and hedonic shoppingmotives towards impulse buying of the costumer of Robinson. Data collection techniques used in this research waspurposive sampling with 100 consumers as data samples. The data analysis was quantitative analysis used SPSSprogram version of 17. The analysis methode used were correlation test, determination, simple linear regression,multiple linear regression, T-test and F-test. The results of the analysis showed that there is positive effect andsignificant between discount, merchandising, and hedonic shopping motives towards impulse buying of the costumerof Robinson either partially or simultaneously. The variable discount is the greatest effect on impulse buying of thecostumer of Robinson than the merchandising and hedonic shopping motives. Discount can be enhanced by productchecking ,controlling, and improving product quality. Merchandising can be improved by adapting consumersneeds. Moreover, hedonic shopping motives can be improved by managing display shelf and doing some additionalfacilities.

Abstract

In an effort to improve employee performance, work stress and job competence is very important to be considered by every company. The problem of this research is low employee performance at PT. Ara Shoes Indonesia Semarang. The factors that affect the labour performance are  work competence and job stress. This study uses quantitative data derived from primary sources that have been collected through questionnaires. The population of this study is 1800 employees working in PT. Ara Shoes Indonesia Semarang, with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. While the data analysis technique used is the method of validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testers (t test and F test).  The results of this study indicate a positive influence of work competence tarhadap labor performance seen from the coefficient of regression X1 is worth 0.980. Work stress negative effect on labor performance, seen from value of regression coefficient X2 is -0,626. There is a simultaneous influence of work competence and job stress on performance.Suggestion given by researcher for PT. Ara Indonesia Semarang follows. At is regured pay attention to education, work rules, work experience and understanding of work to improve work competence. In addition, the company should also pay attention to employee's mistakes in work, difficulty in communicating the partners, the heavy  given to the employee, and pay attention to the work so as not to physically harm so as to reduce job stress on the employees.

Abstract

The existence and success of an organization in achieving its objectives , can not be separated from the human resource factor . Human resources has a very important role in a variety of sectors , because the human resource is the key factor to mobilize other resources that exist in the company Once the importance of the role of human resources resulted in an organization should allocate some substantial funds for the improvement of human resources . To realize the desired goal , then one of them is to improve the performance of human resources in an optimal             This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT . BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang . The population in this study were all employees of the BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang totaling 73 people , so this is a research study census . The analytical tool used in this study is a simple regression , multiple linear regression and path analysis .             Based on the results of the analysis show the organizational culture , organizational commitment and job satisfaction has an influence on employee performance . Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination indicates that organizational culture , organizational commitment , job satisfaction variables were able to explain 78.8 % of the employee 's performance . where the coefficient of determination organizational culture has an influence of 70.1 % . 40.9 % of organizational commitment , and job satisfaction was 66.4 % , against the performance of employees . This shows that organizational culture has a greater impact and has a strong degree of closeness of relationship to the performance of employees . Based on the results of the data analysis we can conclude the influence of organizational culture , organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT BPR Setia Abadi Karib Semarang .              Advice can be given in this study is to enhance and improve the commitment and job satisfaction can be done by giving priority attention to the work , provide rewards to employees in the form of direct flattery of superiors sehinngga employees will be proud of the job that can spur employees to work more optimal .

Abstract

State-owned banks have involvement with many parties in their business, so the performance maintenance is benecessary to deal with banking risks that may arise. The downward trend in the profitability of state-ownedbanks indicated by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) becomes a problem when the CapitalAdequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and ROA experiencing upward trend.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CAR, LDR and ROA on ROA and ROE withexplanatory method. The study population was a quarterly financial report of four state banks in Indonesia2010-2015 so that the number of samples obtained as many as 96 by using purposive sampling. Data analysistechnique used is the classical assumption test, linear regression test, and the test of significance using SPSS15.0 software application.Results and discussion: CAR significant positive effect on ROA of 5.5%, LDR significant negative effecton ROA of 28.6%, and ROA significant negative effect on ROA of 68.8%. CAR, LDR, and ROA significantpositive effect on ROA 69.5%. CAR does not affect the ROE, LDR significant negative effect on ROE of 31%,and ROA significant negative effect on ROE of 48.5%. CAR, LDR, and ROA significant positive effect on ROEof 50.9%.Conclusions and suggestions: CAR, LDR and BOPO positive effect on profitability (ROA and ROE).State-owned banks are expected to increase liquidity and operational efficiency by reducing the percentage ofLDR and ROA.
