Abstract

HORISON HOTEL is one of company that moves in side of hospitality at Semarang. Some problems are captured lack of pieces overnight rates, maximal service and facilities at the hotel This purpose to determine influence of Room Rates, Service Quality, Customer Satisfication  to Customer Loyalty. Type of research used is explanatory with 100 sample respondents (purposive effect). Analysis of the data used is qualitative and quantitative, qualitative analysis tools such as categorization and quantitative analysis tools such as the coefficient of determination, t test, F test and path analysis.The results and discussion of room rates are very low (70%), quality of service is very good (61%), customer satisfaction is very high (78%) and very high customer loyalty (67%). There is a positive and significant influence between room rates for customer satisfaction (14.4%), a positive and significant influence between room rates on customer loyalty (20.6%), a positive and significant effect of service quality on customer satisfaction (13%), positive and significant impact of service quality on customer loyalty (81.1%) and there is a positive and significant impact of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty (12.8%).Conclusion There are significant effect between room rates and quality of service to customer satisfaction (18.5%) and a significant influence between the influence of room rates, service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction (81.2%). Advice can be given include: repair of all equipment in the room were not functioning as it should, repairing all kinds of facilities, to fully leverage with both the employees and officers, and the effort required to provide discounted hotel rates stay more especially on particular days.

Abstract

Hight of consumer puschashing desicion is a hope that is always wanted by every industry so the product which is marketed can be sold out that operasional activity from the industry keep on state smoothly. The brand awareness, brand asosiation, and product quality is one of factors that can affect the high-low level of purchasing desicion at the purchasing of Minute Maid Pulpy. As the hight of brand awareness at Minute Maid Pulpy from consumer, the strength of brand asosiation from consumer towards Minute Maid Pulpy, and the hight of product quality awarding from Minute Maid Pulpy for consumer, so it will rise the purchasing decision level of Minute Maid Pulpy’s consumer.The research type used explanatory, amount of sample is 100 respondents who is taken on 3 urban villages at Banyumanik. Data collection used questionnaire with likert measurement scale. Data analysis method used validity and reability test, correlation coefficient (R), simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficicient of determination (R2), F test, and t test. The result of this research concluded that brand awareness, brand asosiation, and brand quality have a strong effect that positive and significant to purchasing decision, whether partially nor simultaneosly. Brand awareness, brand association and product quality bring a strong effect to purchasing decision that is proved with the amount of its correlation coefficient (R) is 0.784.

Abstract

Productivity is a measure that is often used to determine the effectiveness of the organization. An organization can not flourish if their employees work productivity also increased especially with the high level of competition that exists in the business world. Motivation, discipline and work performance have been found to increase employee productivity. Therefore these three things need to be considered by the management company in order to increase employee productivity. PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang is one of the state-owned company that manufactures drugs. This study uses an associative approach to the 62 respondents with sampling purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the t test and F test with SPSS 17. These results indicate a positive significant effect between motivation toward work productivity of employees of PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang where t (14.701)> t table (1.670), a significant difference between the positive work discipline to employee productivity PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang where t (15.585)> t table (1.670) and a significant difference between the positive achievements of the labor productivity of employees of PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang where t (17.007)> t table (1.670). There is a significant positive influence between work motivation, work discipline and work performance of the employee productivity PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang where F count (149.641)> F table (2,76). The coefficient of determination for the work motivation variables (X1), labor discipline (X2) and work performance (X3) accounted for 88% of employee productivity PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Plant Semarang, while 12% are influenced by other factors. Suggestions can be submitted is a portion of the company must give priority to larger or better application of motivation in the company, due to the influence of motivation on employee performance is lower than the effect of labor discipline and job performance on employee productivity.

Product quality and productattributes is one of the important factors that could affect the level of customer loyalty inFrisian Flag UHT dairy beverage products. With the presentation of a good qualityproduct and quality and a good and interesting attributes of the product, it will furtherenhance the level of consumer loyalty Frisian Flag UHT milk in making a purchase on anongoing basis.This type of research is explanatory. With a total sample of 100 respondentswere taken in three districts in Semarang. Collecting data using a questionnaire with Likertscale measurement. Data analysis methods used are validity and reliability, the correlationcoefficient (R), a simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient ofdetermination (R2), F test and t test. The results of this study concluded that the quality ofthe products and product attributes have a strong influence positive and significant impacton customer loyalty, either partially or simultaneously. Product quality and productattributes together have a strong influence on customer loyalty proved by the correlationcoefficient (R) of 0.900.

Abstract

Cosmetics today have become one of the most important thing for every woman needs to make their appearance looks more beautiful and interesting. This become a reason why the growth of industrial cosmetics in Indonesia is growing fast, and one of them is Wardah Cosmetic. Wardah is one of Indonesia's local and halal cosmetic brand and has distributed the products around Indonesia including Semarang. This study aims to determine the effect of word of mouth, brand image and brand awareness on purchase decision of Wardah’s cosmetic. The type of the research is explanatory research and the sampling use nonprobability sampling techniques, and purposive sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and google form. The sample is used amount 100 respondents using Wardah’s products in Semarang City. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of t test and F test. The result of the study shows that the variables of word of mouth, brand image and brand awarness have an effect on purchase decisions. The variable correlation coefficient of word of mouth, brand image and brand awareness on purchase decisions have a very strong enough relation, and if the variables of word of mouth, brand image and brand awareness have increased or decreased it will make a greatly affect on the purchase decision variable. Based on these results, Wardah is advised to improve quality by adding variety of products according to the needs of female consumers in Indonesia so that consumers are satisfied, making logo designs and packaging colors more interesting and more often do a promotion products in various media, making product displays in the cosmetic outlets and have more interesting advertisements on television so it can encourage purchasing decisions among consumers.

Abstract

Employee performance can determine the success of a company. Several factors influencing employee performance are organizational cuture and work discipline. PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang is a company which engaged in traditional medicine industry. The problem of this research is the decreased of production over the last  four years and did not achieve the production targets. It indicates that the employee performance is still not maximized.The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of organizational culture and work discipline to employee performance. This type of study is explanatory research using questionnaires, interview and study literature as method of data collection. This study used 79 respondents of production employee which choosen by probability sampling technique (simple random sampling). Data analysis which used in this study are simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlate analysis, t test and f test with SPSS.According to the study results, organizational culture and work discipline influence on employee performance. Organizational culture has influenced 0,392 to employee performance and work discipline has influenced 0,242 to employee performance. Simultaneously, organizational culture and work discipline has contributed 0,410 to employee performance.The conclusion shows that organizational culture and work discipline either partially or simultaneously influence the performance of production employee of PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang. Based on these  results, PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang should be able to improve the organizational culture, especially in the communication between  employee and management.  In addition,  PT.  Nyonya Meneer Semarang is expected  to improve the quality of control or supervision  to maintain and improve the discipline of employees, and make further research to find out the influence from other variables.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decreasing number of visitors in 2014 until 2016. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of lifestyle aspect, consist of interests, opinions, and activities on consumers purchase decision at Shabu Auce Restaurant Semarang. This study was an explanatory research using questionnaire to collect data. Purposive sampling technique were used to get samples. A total of 100 respondents who visited Shabu Auce Restaurant Semarang were collected. This study used quantitative analysis technique using validity test, reliability test, coefficient of correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (T test), and the F test ( multiple regression). The result of simple regression test showed that all of the lifestyle aspect, consists of interests, opinions, and activities, had a positive significant influence toward the purchase decision. Increasing perception of interests, opinions, and activities will increase consumers purchase decision as well. The result of F test in multiple linear regression showed that interests, opinions, and activities simultaneously influence the purchase decision. The most dominant variable was activities which had the largest standardized regression coefficient.

Abstract

This study aimed to to determine the effect variables of Quality of Service and Customer Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty Transportation Users BPU. Rosalia Indah. This type of research used is explanatory research, data collection methods using an oral interview and a data collection tool using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents who use the services of the BPU. Rosalia Indah via nonprobability sampling technique by using purposive sampling method. The results of the statistical linear regression analysis can be shown by the regression equation Y = 3.296 + 0.136 X1 + 0.666 X2 e. From the regression equation it is known that the quality of service and customer satisfaction has an effect on customer loyalty. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination 0.468 magnitude. It is indicating that the quality of service and customer satisfaction variables could explain 46.8% of consumer loyalty. Based on the results of the data analysis we can conclude the existence effect of service quality and customer satisfaction to customer loyalty BPU Rosalia Indah users. and have a strong level of closeness relationship this means that the higher quality of service and customer satisfaction that will lead to the higher customer loyalty. Companies can improve the quality of care by increasing service ticketing and departure schedule more regularly in order to be more timely.

Abstract

IM3 is a provider that targeting the youth market. With a well-known fare cheap, IM3 should be able to maintain and even increase the benefits of its products. However, the advantages offered by IM3 seem not optimal. Many complaints submitted by customers to the company through social media, are about the signal strength is week, the difficulty of accessing the data, the IM3 employees that are not friendly enough, the active period of the card which is not long, and so forth. So that these things will obviously affect customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the promotion effect of product quality and brand image to customer satisfaction in using Indosat IM3. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this research is IM3 Community in Undip and Unnes in the number of samples taken is 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using non probability sampling with with purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is cross tabulation, correlation, determination, simple linear regression, multiple, t test and F test with SPSS version 16.Based on the survey results revealed that the promotion, quality product and brand image have positive and significant impact to customer satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. Independent variable that has the greatest influence on customer satisfaction is a variable of brand image.The advice that can be given is to give a briefing to the IM3 employees in order to be friendly towards the customers, make the active period of the card longer, extend the network signal so that the customers can access data quickly and they can recommend IM3 to people around them.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are goals that every company should achieve. To be able to reach a high purchase decision, Lazada need to pay attention to ease, quality of information, and trust. This research aims to determine the effect of ease, quality of information, and trust in purchasing decisions partially or simultaneously. This type of research is explanatory research with 100 Lazada’s consumers by using purposive sampling technique and collected through the spread of questionnaires with Likert measurement scale. Data analysis method used is correlation, simple and multiple linear regression with SPSS 21 program. The results of this research indicate that ease, quality of information, and trust have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions partially or simultaneously. The trust variable has a greater influence than the others variable. From this research can be concluded that consumer perceptions of ease, quality of information, and trust are good. Meanwhile, purchasing decisions on  Lazada  is quite good. Thus, companies are advised to keep improving consumer purchasing decisions with giving more practically ease, better quality of information, and increased trust,that will improve purchasing decisions.
