Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work stress and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) to the employee’s performance of PT Askrindo (Persero) Branch Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. Sampling technique using sensus sampling technique. The number of samples taken as many as 33 respondents, which are the employee of PT Askrindo (Persero) Branch Semarang. In this study assisted by IBM SPSS 21.0 system. The results showed that work stress influence the employee’s performance by contributing 77.7% while the rest is influenced by factors other than work stress. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) influences the employee’s performance by contributing 44.9% while the rest is influenced by factors other than Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Meanwhile, simultaneously and work stress and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) influence to employee’s performance by donating 78.5% while the rest influenced by factors other than work stress and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Based on the calculation of Test F shows that there is a significant influence between work stress and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) to employee’s performance. This means the lower the work stress and the higher the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), the higher the employe’s performance of PT Askrindo (Persero) Branch Semarang. In addition, the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has the most dominant influence with regression keofisien value of 0.125. Suggestions in this research is to decrease the work stress of employees improve the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of employee and the awareness, so it can improve the employee’s performance.

Abstract

PT. PLN ( Persero ) area of Semarang is a company engaged in the provision of electricity services in Semarang. This study aims to determine themselves the extent of the influence of organizational culture ( X1 ) , Leadership ( X2 ) , Motivation ( Z ) of the Employee Performance ( Y ) PT. PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area . This type of research is explanatory research , the method of data collection using oral interviews and data collection devices using a questionnaire with a sample of 91 respondents employees of PT PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area through sampling techniques performed by sampling saturated or also known as the census . Results from this study is that there is influence between organizational culture , leadership , and motivation on employee performance PT. PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area of 60.6 % , while 39.4 % is influenced by other factors . Then the most impact is affecting the performance of organizational culture indirectly ( indirect ) through the motivation of 0.088 . Compared with the leadership to influence performance indirectly ( indirect ) amounted to 0,089 . This means that the organizational culture and leadership will not be able to affect the performance , if the employee has previously had the motivation of organizational culture and leadership are given .. Advice can be given in this study , namely PT . PLN ( Persero ) Semarang area is to create a climate of better organizational culture within the company , it should be held periodically evaluate the implementation of Electricity for a Better Life.

Abstract

The rapid growth of coffee shops within a few years makes the competition tighter. Consumer behavior in decision-making is influenced by several factors such as lifestyle and price. Peacockoffie is one coffee shop that is known in Semarang city. The problem in this research is the price increases that is carried out by Peacockoffie in 2014 resulting in a decrease amount of daily transactions amid growing coffee shop in the city of Semarang. The result shows that the lifestyle and the price have positive and significant impacts upon decision of purchasing. It can be seen from the outcome of simple linier regression of lifestyle towards decision of purchasing and t test. From those two variables (lifestyle and price) that had been partially and simultaneously analyzed, the coefficient of price is higher than lifestyle coefficient. In details, price has the biggest impact towards the decision of purchasing the products of Peacockoffie Semarang, reaching the number 0,288, compared with lifestyle that only get 0,057. The coefficient of determination (R2) of lifestyle and price is 19,6%. This means 19,6% of purchasing decision can be explained by those two variables, while the other 80,4% can be explained by another variable. The suggestions that can be given to increase the purchasing decision is that Peacockoffie should establishes standard operating procedure (SOP) in service and product presentation.

Abstract

The development of the culinary service business is increasing rapidly at this time, they compete in providing the best service to retain their customers. This research was conducted at Portobello Café Semarang. Portobello Café Semarang sales data shows fluctuations in the number of sales and the number of complaints from Portobello Cafe service users regarding services and prices. Portobello Café must be able to provide good service to its customers, good service must be balanced with the price according to what is provided by Portobello Café Semarang. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality (X1) and price (X2) on consumer repurchase (Y) interest in Portobello Café Semarang. This type of research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection using a preliminary interview, data collection using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents with convenience sampling techniques. The results of the study show that partially the service quality and price variables influence the repurchase intention positively and significantly. Regression coefficient value on service quality variable (0.677) and price (0.493). The value of work service quality variables (4,706) and price (4,902). Service quality and price simultaneously influence the repurchase intention variable positively and significantly with multiple regression coefficient values. The multiple regression coefficient value of the service quality variable (0.497) and price (0.374) with the calculated value (19,305). Suggestions that can be conveyed to the company are to increase the consumer's buying interest related to the interest in having the main preference on the product and the interest to always look for information about the product. Improving the quality of service of Portobello Café, especially on the ability of employees to recognize consumers as customers and understand every customer need. Conduct appropriate policies relating to pricing, namely by conducting price comparisons with other equivalent cafes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of emotional branding, experiential marketing, brand trust and customer satisfaction on brand loyalty of Eiger Adventure. This study uses explanatory research. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling technique, which is purposive sampling with a sample of 100 people. This research uses analytical quantitative techinques. Data analysis using validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, simple regression, multiple regression, the coefficient of determination, t-test, F-test and path analysis using SPSS 20.0 for Windows.                The results showed that emotional branding variables (X1) has  mean of 3.80 and a mean respectively experiential marketing variables (X2) is 3.73, brand trust variables (Z1) 3.87, customer satisfaction variable (Z2) 3.83 and brand loyalty variable (Y) of 3.53. Based on the average value, it can be interpreted that the five variables are in high categorization. Results of the analysis showed that emotional branding variable (X1), experiential marketing (X2), brand trust (Z1) and customer satisfaction (Z2) has a positive effect on brand loyalty (Y). Experiential marketing variables are variables that have the greatest influence (0.526) whereas emotional branding variable is a variable that gives the smallest effect (0.043) on brand loyalty.                The conclusion of this study shows that emotional branding, experiential marketing, brand trust and customer satisfaction partially or simultaneously affect brand loyalty Eiger Adventure. Based on the results of the Eiger Adventure should improve emotional branding concept, improve the concept of experiential marketing as well as maintain and increase customer confidence and satisfaction. Suggestions for Eiger Adventure is keeping the emotional branding concept and perform various activities to improve the experiential marketing in order to increase confidence in the brand and maintain customer satisfaction products Eiger Adventure.

Abstract

As lifestyle changes, increased knowledge and income as well as public awareness of safer organic foods resulting increased demand especially for vegetables. Currently, many Indonesia’s modern retailers are marketing organic vegetables causing competition between organic vegetable companies becomes tighter. The company has an important role in attracting consumer preference to purchase organic vegetables by using consumer preference factors.The purpose of the research is to know what factors make up the consumer preference and its effect to the decision of purchasing organic vegetables.The research method is quantitative research with explanatory research type. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, exploratory factor analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and t test.The result of the research shows consumer preference factors that influence purchase decision are physical product quality factor, pricing, and promotion. While the store’s safety and comfortable, the appropriateness of the price, the location of the store, the availability, and the price information has no effect on purchasing decisions of organic vegetables.This research suggests the companies to set organic vegetables marketing strategy based on consumer preferences, as well as a contribution of thought to enrich existing research in Indonesia.

Abstract

Total production of the company is the dominant factor in influencing the sale of goods for the economical production can determine whether the goods sold in the market. Type of research used is descriptive. Analisys of the data used to determine method Economic Production Quantity (EPQ)the production optimal and economical expendirure. The purpose of this study was to determine the general optimal production level, the view of the cost, yield, production and availability of finished products of green tea. In particular, are (1) To determine the quantity of wet production for each production. (2) To determine the amount of the costs incurred in each production.(3) To determine the optimal production quantities according to the company. (4) To determine the optimal production quantities according to the EPQ. The analysis showed that production is determined from production wet dry, wet production quantities can be influenced by several factors such as the condition of shoots in the garden is not good for plant disease, climate and rainfall, and the availability timed. Levels rendement average is 22.40%. Rendement The higher the better, the percentage yield levels generated. Optimal production level achieved Economic Production, the most economical in the year 2011 according to the calculation method of EPQ Optimal month production level achieved by calculation EPQ company that in 2010 April 96.750 Kg at a cost of Rp 148.309.229.  From the analysis of the total costs incurred where companies show a greater value than the sum of the cost of reckoning EPQ. Suggested EPQ method is used, as it will result in optimal production with minimum expenses. The Company takes into account the results of the product with the sale of product inventory that needs can be met.

Abstract

The development of more modern area make a change for trend or lifestyle in society. Modern society who came in to restaurant or cafe is not only for enjoying the food and drink, but also to enjoying the atmosphere who created by the cafe. this makes business people in culinary business should consider store environment at his cafe or restaurant.Creativity restaurant in creating attractive store environment would be added value. Store environment created by the restaurant to be one factor in encouraging of purchase decision. The store environment included store image, store atmospherics, and store theatrics. T This research was conducted as the sales at Kedai Amarta Semarang continued to fluctuate from 2010-2013, so we have to know store image, store atmospherics, and store theatrics influence the purchase decision.The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of store image, store atmospherics, and store theatrics to the purchasing decision at Kedai Amarta Semarang. The type of researh is explanatory research. Interviews with questionnaire were adopted for data collection in this study. Hundred people were employed as respondent by purposive sampling technique. The respondents were visitors Kedai Amarta Semarang who have made a purchase of at least two times.The research results showed that store image, store atmospherics, store theatrics influenced on purchase decisions, partially or simultaneously. The results obtained by analyzing the primary data with validity test, reliability test, crosstab analysis, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and a significance test (t and F) using SPSS for Windows version 15,0.Based on the results, the researcher suggests that Kedai Amarta management need to improve service, maintain the quality of food and drink , increase the variety of the menu, increase the variety of types of music played, increase the availability of the parking area, change the decor theme appropriate the present moment, and update the program promotion.

Abstract

The problem faced by the Argo Bromo Anggrek train is the decline in the number of passengers of the Argo Bromo Anggrek train that occurs for three years continuously so that it affects the achievement of the target. The perceived factors that can influence consumer interest to buy again include experiential marketing and value perception.This research was conducted to explain the effect of experiental marketing and perception of value to the emergence of satisfaction. In this research use purposive random sampling sampling technique so that can be taken 100 passenger of Argo Bromo Anggrek Executive Train. The data analysis used is regression.The results showed that experiental marketing has a positive and significant influence on the interest of repurchasing (Y), the perception of value (X2) has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y1). The results also show that there is a positive and significant influence between experiential marketing and value perception jointly to customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the interest of repurchasing.

Abstract

Employee performance is affected by many factors, one of which is occupational health and occupational safety. This study aims to determine the condition of occupational health, occupational safety, employee performance and influence of occupational health and safety toward the employee performance of the Unit Train Crew 4th Operation Teritory Of Semarang Co.,Ltd, by taking 67 employees as respondents. Analysis techniques using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, and f-test supported by SPSS version 17 for Windows. Judging from the results of the calculation of the variable categorization table, occupational health, occupational safety, employee performance are in the good condition. From the calculation results of t-test, there is the influence of occupational health toward employee performance, and occupational safety toward employee's performance. From the calculation results of test-f, there is the influence of the occupational health and safety toward employee's performance. The company need to improve occupational health, especially by increase the availability of health insurance and health insurance benefits. Safety needs to be improved, especially by increase the availability of PPD and P3K complement and provide socialization and tighten controls on the use of PPD.
