Abstract

The research was motivated by the increasing of competition among the competitors on the notebook industry. Specifically, this research discusses the Toshiba brand notebook which is included in the top three notebook vendors in Indonesia. Toshiba notebook was experiencing decline in sales volume (2012-2013), followed by decreasing in the percentage of Top Brand Index (2010-2014). The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of customer value and brand image towards brand loyalty through brand trust in Toshiba Notebook. The type of this research is explanatory. The method of collecting data using questionnaire and interview. The technique of sampling using purposive sampling. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. Measurement scale using Likert Scale. Linear regression analysis and path anlysis were used to test the hypotheses using SPSS 16.0. The study results indicate that both simultaneously and partially, customer value and brand image have positive influence towards dependent variable, namely brand trust and brand loyalty. However, descriptive analysis of the perception of the respondents indicate that customer value, brand image, and brand loyalty still were perceived less by a few respondents. Based on the results of path analysis, the direct infulence of customer value and brand image towards brand loyalty is greater than the indirect influence of customer value and brand image towards brand loyalty through brand trust.

Abstract

Competition among businesses has been increasing at the era of globalization. Growingconsumer demand encourages manufacturers to improve themselves in order to survive incompetition. One effort that can be done is to improve managerial performance and innovation.Therefore, companies need to consider not only the tangible assets but also intangible assetstowards knowledge-based businesses.This study aims to determine whether there is influence between Intellectual Capital(Human Capital, Structural Capital and Capital Employed) on the performance of the consumergoods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2012-2014. Type ofthis study use explanative type. Technique sampling from this study is saturation sampling. Thepopulation used a total of 35 consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia StockExchange in 2012-2014. This study use SPSS for Mac version 21.Results from the study showed that there is no significant relationship between HumanCapital and Corporate Performance, as well as the Structural Capital is no significant effect onthe Company's Performance. However, Capital Employed has a significant impact on theCompany's Performance. Based on these results it can be said that the performance can beaffected by the Company's Capital Employed which means the relationship between the companyand external parties can better improve the company's performance. The recommendation iscompanies should pay attention to manage intangible assets, especially Capital Employed becauseit can affect the performance of companies.

Abstract

Cooperative is an organization that puts the interests and welfare of more members in the central position of the overall cooperative activity. In the application of balanced scorecard on the use of cooperatives, there is an adjustment in the four balanced scorecard perspectives are: financial perspective, membership perspective, partnership perspective, and learning and growth perspective. The purpose of this research was to determine the performance of Cooperative of Krama Yudha Ratu Motor Employees seen from the balanced scorecard method. The achievement of the objectives of this research is to use the method of Focus Group Discussion with the employee to determine the score obtained. From the results of measurements that have been done show that the whole performance of Cooperative of Krama Yudha Ratu Motor Employees is pretty good, it is shown from the score generated from each perspective. The conclusion to be drawn from the analysis that has been done is that the balanced scorecard can be used as a method of performance measurement in the cooperative, as the balanced scorecard raised the important aspects that are ignored by the traditional performance measurement, so that the measurement results with the balanced scorecard is more comprehensive. Suggestion which can be submitted from the author is pay more attention to non-financial aspects in order to maximize the potential of cooperative and cooperative can also achieve the welfare of its members.

Abstract

Bussiness competition in Indonesia grows very fast and tight both in small and big company. It also occurs in plastic bottle packaging companies in Indonesia.The problem of this research was the degradation of the employee’s performance in production division from 2016 to 2018.This research was aimed to know whether there was influence in employee empowerment, self efficacy and competition towards the performance of the production employee in CV. Jordan. The data collection technique used questionnaire. They were analyzed through validity test, reliability test, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, f-test using SPSS version 23.0 program.The results show that employee empowerment, self efficacy and competition give significant positive influence towards the performance of the employee. Regarding to this research, the company is suggested to improve the employee empowerment, self efficacy and competition so it can improve good performance of the employee.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the differences of consumer preferences between Suara Merdeka daily newspaper and Tribun Jateng. The population taken in this research are consumers who ever bought Suara Merdeka daily newspaper and Tribun Jateng. Samples used in this research some 100 respondents used by non-probability sampling technique with approach accidental sampling ( the sample based on chance ). A method of analysis used is quantitative analysis that is using different Independent Sample T- test. The benefit factor is a factor that most distinguishes between Suara Merdeka daily newspaper with Tribun Jateng, with t-test 8,872 then followed by reader responsiveness of 5,005, marketing of 0,334, and quality of content and physical of -0,145. Hypothesis testing is done using different test showed that consumers preferences of the difference occurred against the benefit factor and reader responsiveness. All indicators of the benefits and reader responsiveness Suara Merdeka is superior than Tribun Jateng. But consumer preferences of differences did not happen to the quality of content and physical factor and marketing factor. Based on data obtained that Tribun Jateng can match the quality of content and physical factor and marketing factor of Suara Merdeka. While perception most dominant based on response respondents is the existence of newspapers for Suara Merdeka and actuality of news for Tribun Jateng.

Abstract

The development of the automotive world at this time feels so rapid that the competition is getting tighter. Companies are getting more and more engaged in various efforts to attract consumers to the products it produces. Specifically this study discusses the purchase of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport PT. Sun Star Motor Semarang during the year 2013-2015 continues to decrease in their sales. If it is not repaired and resolved, it will cause problems for PT. Sun Star Motor Semarang in the future.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of brand image, product quality and lifestyle to the purchasing decision of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. This type of research is explanatory research, using questionnaires a a data collection techniques. The population used in this research are consumers or car buyers of Mitsubihsi Pajero Sport PT. Sun Star Motor Semarang, with the number of samples taken is 90 respondents. This sample uses a purposive sampling technique, and uses a measuring scale by Likert. Analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, correlation test, determination test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. This research is assisted by a computer program to process data which is SPSS.Based on the results of the research note that partially, brand image, product quality and lifestyle have a strong level of closeness relationship to the purchase decision. This is indicated by the results of multiple correlation coefficient test of 0.782. Significantly, the brand image, product quality and lifestyle variables are shown by the value of F count greater than F table that is 45,089> 3,952.Suggestions that can be given is to maintain a good image by always keeping in touch with consumers and customers. In addition, maintain and enhance the brand image and improve its shortcomings, add more to the interior and exterior facilities and apply more innovation to the products in order to adapt to competitor's products.

Abstract

Labour productivity is a link between the output is the result of work by the time it takes to produce a product by labor. Productivity is one measure that is often used to determine the effectiveness of the organization. An organization can not flourish if their employees work productivity also increased especially with the high level of competition that exists in the business world. Compensation and work discipline has been found to increase employee productivity. Therefore both of these need to be considered by the company in order to increase productivity. PT. PISMATEX Pekalongan is one manufacturer that is engaged in the production of textiles that produce a superior product with a brand that is woven sarongs Elephant Sitting which increased the number of defective products in the production process.This study uses explanatory research approach to the 94 respondents with purposive sampling approach. Data collection techniques in this study using interview techniques, by means of questionnaires and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the t test and F test.Results of statistical analysis known that the compensation effect on employee productivity by 58.2%. While the results for the variable of work discipline effect on labor productivity of 49.6%. Together - the same motivation and discipline affect the productivity of 61.6%. The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive effect between compensation and work discipline on the productivity of the production employees PT.PISMATEX Pekalongan. Suggestions for increasing employee productivity for the company to increase its attention to the compensation and work discipline that will ultimately increase productivity of employees.

Abstract

Employee is a main asset who have an important role in the development and the future of thecompany. One factor that determined employee’s performance is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction atPatra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel has been fluctuated. It can be seen from absenteeism andemployees performance evaluation.The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of work behavior and participative leadershipstyle to job satisfaction at permanent employees Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel. The type of thisresearch is explanatory with the number of respondents were 108 permanent employees. The samplingmethod using saturated sampling technique. The analytical method in this study are correlationcoefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, F testand classical assumption with the help of IBM SPSS program.The results of this study are positive corelation between of work behavior and participative leadershipstyle to work behavior partially and simultaneously. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it isknown that the variable behavior of labor and participative leadership style influence on job satisfactionwith a coefficient of 0.209 and 0.608. The advice given to the company is the company must considercultural approaching to motivate the employee to understand the command of leader and there is neededa teamwork and good comunication between leader and employee.

Abstract

In the modern era like today in carrying out its activities, humans are increasingly dependent on machine assistance, especially in the field of transportation. One of them is a car. Wuling Motors is a Chinese vehicle brand run by Liuzhou Wuling Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industries Association (Gaikindo) in 2018, Wuling sales in every month always increase and at the beginning of 2018 it can enter into the 10 best-selling brands in 2018, but the problems that occur in the sales figures in the last 5 months have not yet reached company sales target. This study aims to find out how the influence given by price and promotion to the purchase decision of Wuling car in Semarang City. The type of research used is explanatory research where the data collection technique used is by using questionnaire tool, the sample used amounted to 100 people by using purposive sampling technique. Respondents selected are consumers who make purchasing decisions Wuling car in Semarang City. The methodology used to analyze primary data in this research is validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and significance test (t and F test) with SPSS 16.0. The results showed that price significantly influence the purchase decision of 31.5% while the balance is influenced by many factors beside price. Promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decision of 40,4% while the balance is explained by many factors beside promotion. Meanwhile, simultaneously price and promotion have a significant effect on purchasing decision equal to 49,3% while the balancing influenced by many factors beside price and promotion. It means better the price and promotion, the higher the purchase decision of Wuling car. In addition, the promotion has the greatest influence with regression coefficient value of 0.587. Based on the results of the study, the researchers have suggestion for Wuling Motors providing quality products that are better at increasing promotions and providing prices that are in accordance with the value of the products offered.

Abstract

In conducting its operational activities, Nyonya Meneer Semarang would want a good performance of the workers, especially the marketing. However this is not easy because the employees performance is affected by many factors. These factors include career development programs such as training and job mutation and other factors such as motivation.          The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of career development program in the form of training and mutation of work and motivation on employee performance of marketing Nyonya Meneer Semarang. This type of research is an explanatory research, with questionnaires, the study of literature and interviews. Tests carried out to employees of marketing with a population of 38 people using census method. This study used a qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the significance test (t test and F test) with SPSS version 20.0 software for .          The results showed that the career development program through training and job mutation (X1), and motivation (X2), partially or simultaneously affect employee performance (Y) marketing. Motivation has a greater impact in influencing the performance of employees compared to the career development program.          Based on the results of this study, researchers gave advice to the Nyonya Meneer Semarang to pay more attention to theaspects of justice when providing employment mutation, and appreciation to the employees have the achievements that the performance of employees in marketing could be better.
