Abstract

rapidly is the food industry currently the culinary business in indonesia has rapidly increased. Inaddition, indonesia has a variety of food and traditional cuisine that must be developed and preserved.Getuk Eco as one of the food gifts manufacturer in Magelang City, is a trusted brand, but more numbersof food gifts producers in the City of Magelang causing Getuk Eco decreased their sales in 2014.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of product quality, brand image andword of mouth towards purchasing decisions on Getuk Eco store Magelang. The type of research isexplanatory research. The population in this research is the consument of a Getuk Eco store with thenumber of samples taken was 100 respondents. Sampling using non probability sampling technique.Measurement scale using Likert scale. The analytical method used is the correlation test, determination,simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test and F-test using SPSS program version 18.Based on the results of the research, revealed that the partially, product quality, brand imageand word of mouth has positive effect on the purchasing decision which is indicated by result of thevalue of t test bigger than t table. Significantly, variable product quality, brand image and word ofmouth has positive effect towards purchasing decision indicated by value of F test larger than F table.And the advice that can be given is product quality improvement, especially on packaging ofGetuk Eco’s product and aesthetics improvements. Besides, Getuk Eco also need to improve thecompany’s image as the best food gifts producer in Magelang City to support the consumer confidence.

Abstract

PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang is a company engaged in the production of herbal medicine. Purchases of raw materials performed each year has increased, it is influenced by the increase in market demand and the difference between the purchase of raw materials that have been planned and the actual realization of the need. With a production capacity of more banyyak, budget forecasting is necessary to purchase raw materials with a small degree of inconsistency. So it can reduce the cost of investment in materials, minimize production costs and ultimately company profits can be optimized. The purpose of this study was to determine the determination of the optimal raw material inventory by EOQ. Where the ledge first thing to do is to determine the need for raw materials for 5 (five) years, then the budget budgeting buying raw turmeric which includes the number of needs, beginning inventory and ending inventory so as to know the amount of the purchase of raw materials each year. To determine the need for raw materials in 2012 as a supporting factor is the historical data, data distribution, extensive business and competitors. Therefore used a method of forecasting the trend analysis covering semi average method, least square method, the method and the method of quadratic trend eksponentisial trend. Of the four forecasting methods are then conducted further analysis by selecting the most appropriate method paramalan to search the very low standard deviation, which means having a close measure of the accuracy of  the real situation.

Abstract

The model of this research is testing the influence of product quality and advertising to purchase decisions Wardah brand cosmetics through brand image as an interveving variable. The population on this study were consumers of Wardah cosmetics on students collage faculty political and social science of Diponegoro University. The research sample of 98 respondens and the sampling technique used was propotional sampling.Measurement scala using a Likert scale. Data analysis used regression test, correlation test, determination test, significance test, path analysis, sobel test and mediation test with SPSS version 16 aplication. The results of this study note that the quality of the product significantly influences the brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.905)> t table (1.985), it is proven that there is a significant influence of advertising with brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.346)> t table (1.985), proved the influence Significant product quality with a purchase decision (5,967)> t table (1,985), evidenced by the significant influence of advertising with a purchasing decision with a value of t arithmetic (3.685)> t table (1,985), evidenced the influence of brand image with a purchase decision t arithmetic (5,951) )> t table (1,985), it is proven that there is a significant influence between product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image with a value of t arithmetic (2,930)> t table (1,985) and evidenced the influence of advertising on purchasing decisions through a brand image with a value of t arithmetic (3,663)> t table (1,985).

Abstract

The success of a company inachieving its objectives can’t be separated from human resources. Because resourcesprovide an important role, the company always strives to be able to allocate substantialfunds to improve human resources. In the situation of banking competition, banks need agreat effort, then one effort is to further improve the performance of employees optimally.So that the objectives set by the company achieved well. The purpose of this research wasto determine whether there is influence appraisal, compensation to employee performancethrough motivation at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Branch Undip Semarang.The population in this study were all employees' fixed numbering 70 people, so this studyuses census research. The analytical tool used in this research is simple regression,regression, and path. Results of analysis and hypothesis testing showed that job appraisal,compensation, and motivation have an impact on employee performance. Judging from thecalculation of the regression coefficients indicate that job appraisal, compensation,motivation is able to explain the variable performance of the employee, where the results ofthe regression coefficient has an influence appraisal of 0.279, compensation of 0.022, andthe motivation of 0.76 to employee performance. This shows that the assessor job has agreater impact and has a strong degree of closeness of relationship to employeeperformance. Thus we can conclude the influence appraisal, compensation to employeeperformance through motivation at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk BranchUndip Semarang. Advice can be given in this study and the need to increase attention tocompensation and motivation can be done by paying attention to the results of the work,can be in the form of bonuses from employers so that employees are encouraged to workoptimally.

Abstract

This research had purpose to analyzed some of the fundamental factors of financial rations that could to be use as a signal for investors to predicted stock prices on companies in a sector thatis growth in Indonesia, which was plantantion sub-sector. Variabels that examined in this study were the Likuidity Ratio (consists of Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio and Net working Capital) and Profitability Ratio (consists of Return on Assets and Return on Equity) on the stock price, eather partially or simultaneously on the plantation sub sector companies that have been listed in the Indonesia Stock Excahange in 2012-2016. This research wa an explanatory research with a total sample of 9 companies x 5 years = 45 observasiton data. The analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test partial, F test simultaneously with the level of significance of 5% and a determination coefficient test. The Analysis showed the data have fulfilled classical assumption, including normally distributed data, no symptomps of multikolinearitas, there were no symptoms of autocorrelation and heteroscedaticity. The regression results Quick Ratio and Return On Equity were partially significant effeck on stock prices. While Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Net working Capital and Return On Assets partially were not significant effeck on stock prices. Variabels used in this study (Likuidity Ratio and Profitability Ratio) simultaneously affeck the stock prices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture variables and physical work environment on employee performance PDAM Kabupaten Kudus . This type of research is explanatory research . In the study population there were 109 permanent employees and all PDAM Kabupaten Kudus were sampled by means of sampling or census saturated . Data were collected through questionnaires . Measurement scale using a Likertscale . Data analysis method used is correlation , simple and multiple linear regression with SPSS 20.0The study concluded that : ( a) organizational culture at PDAM Kabupaten Kudus strong ,as well as the physical work environment on PDAM Kabupaten Kudus Well ; ( b ) The effect of organizational culture on employee performance is strong at 0.805 ; influence of the physical work environment on employee performance is strong at 0.857 (d ) The results stimulatory or jointly demonstrate the organization's culture and physical work environment has a strong influence of 0.895 . Physical work environment variables have a greater influence than the culture of the organization.

Abstract

Brand image and product quality is an element that can influence purchasing decisions. PT.Yamaha Bahana Tegal is a company engaged in the marketing of Yamaha brand motorcycles. Ifconsumers have a good impression or positively impact brand image and product quality of aproduct then it will affect a high purchasing decisions by consumers. Strengthening brand imageand good product quality is also used companies motorcycle to win the competition.This type of research uses explanatory research, with a population of 85 respondents whouse and buy Yamaha Mio motorcycle in 2014 PT. Yamaha Bahana Tegal by way of random.Data were collected through a questionnaire with Likert scale measurement. Methods of dataanalysis used correlation, simple regression, multiple regression using SPSS.This study concluded that the brand image and product quality influence on purchasingdecisions, either partially or stimultan. The variable quality of the products have a greaterinfluence than the variable brand image.Suggestions can be submitted to PT.Yamaha Bahana Tegal is preferably often remindingconsumers to serve when it entered the time, adding features in the latest such answer backsystem to facilitate the user when it is a public parking lot, adding cubical centimeters on enginecapacity in order machines do not heat quickly and the durability of the machine awake

Abstract

PT. KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto is one of the operational areas of PT. KAI (Persero). In 2018 it was found that there were performance problems of PT. KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto is seen from the assessment of declining performance and the level of job satisfaction which has declined in recent years. This can be indicated by the decline in participants in training and the increasing number of accidents in 2018. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of training and organizational culture to employee performance through job satisfaction. The type of this research is explanatory research, with 110 respondents of samples. Used questionnaire as data collecting with Likert scale. In the data analysis method used is test of validity and reliability, correlation coefficient (R), simple and multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination (R2), significance of t test and F test, sobel test by using SPSS 21.0 for Windows.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the needs of consumers on the internet increasing. IM3 is one simcard which provides internet package, however there are several factors that cause consumers to switch to other brands. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumers to make the switch from brand IM3 brand to another brand.This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique include nonprobability sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample in this research were 100 respondents who are barchelor’s degree students of Social and Politic faculty Diponegoro University Semarang. Scale measurements using a Likert scale. In the analysis of the test used factor analysis with SPSS 20.Based on the analysis, the variable price, product quality, advertising, and lifestyle have a effect on the decision of brand switching. Lifestyle variable has the most impact amounted 28.8%. The variable of price has the effect amounted 15.3%. The variable of quality products has the effect amounted 7,8%. The variable of advertising has 26,3%.Conclusion of the research  shows the factors that influence consumers to make the switch from IM3 to another brand consists of price, quality of products, advertising, and lifestyle. Based on the results of the PT. Indosat, Tbk should establish the price which proper with benefit, product quality should be improved, clearer advertising messages, and more dynamic in following consumer lifestyle will need the internet.

Abstract

The background of this study is banking bussines industry growing. That thing makes competition between banking competitor tighter. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is one of the corporation that move on financial related service which bigger and has widest connection in Indonesia.The purpose doing this research is to knowing reliance influence. Commitment and communication cutomers’s retention with customers’s satisfactory as intervening variable to customer of BRI bank Kartini Semarang unite. Research type that used in this research is explanatory research, with data collecting technique by quetioner and interview. Sample taking technique using non probability sampling technique that is purposive sampling with number of samples are 100 respondens who they are customers of BRI bank Kartini Semarang unite. Analysis methode which used in this research using regretion analysis two steps which SPSS For Windows version 16.0 help, which before did validty and reliability test firstly.This research result shows that reliance, commitment, and communication partially has positive influence and significant customers satisfactory and customer satisfactory has positive influence and significant to customers retention. Based on two steps regretion analysis result can be conclude that to increase customers retention, corporation management need pay attention reliance factor, commitment, communication and customers satisfactory because of that factors proved to be influence customers retention.
