Abstract

This study is about the Influence of Motivation, Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance (Case Study On Employee PT. KAO Semarang). This research was made possible thanks to employee performance problems allegedly caused by work motivation, work environment and work discipline that is less than PT. KAO Semarang. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect Influence of Motivation, Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance either partially or simultaneously. With the holding of this study, it can be a policy about motivation, work environment, work discipline and performance of employees so that the company's goals can be achieved with optimal.This type of research is explanatory research or explanation. The population in this study are employees of PT. KAO Semarang as many as 100 people. Engineering samples are used so that the whole population census used as a sample. Thus the sample used as many as 100 people. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, while data analysis technique used is to test the validity, reliability, t test, F test test, determination coefficient and regression analysis. Calculations in this study using SPSS 16.0 for Windows.The calculations show that: work motivation has an average value of 3.86 to be in either category, work environment has an average value of 3.66 to be in either category, variable working discipline has an average value of 3.62 so as to be in either category, there is an influence either partially or simultaneously variables of motivation, work environment and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. KAO Semarang. Advice given is the motivation is the variable that has the most impact on the performance of employees of PT. KAO should therefore notice company employee motivation problem by maintaining and improving work motivation, work discipline is a variable that has the least effect on the performance of employees of PT. KAO thus the company should improve and increase, for other researchers, if want to do research on the performance it should use other variables in addition to the variables contained namely research work motivation, work environment and work discipline to predict performance. Other variables that are used to predict the performance of which is leadership, organizational commitment, compensation. Thus the research on this performance will be more perfect.

Abstract

The informal business sectors or small medium enterprises will surely depend on good and quality human resources to drive their business assets. This is because human resources are a basic element of every company. So every company, especially small medium enterprises will always try to improve employee productivity. One of the factors that can increase productivity drastically is work discipline. This research was conducted at UMKM Batik Semarang 16 producing batik in Semarang city, aiming to know the application of work discipline. The data were collected by participant observation technique, in-depth interview to business leader, and business worker in UMKM Batik Semarang 16. Data analysis was done gradually by describing the condition (description), interpreting with theory (interpretation) and explaining (explanation) from data source obtained. The results of the analysis are compared with supporting theories, among them Malayu Hasibuan (2000: 192) states that there are several factors that affect the level of discipline of employees of a company, such as penalties or written rules, role model of leadership, firmness of leadership, remuneration ,and supervision inherent / monitoring . This study concludes that the discipline of work in UMKM Batik Semarang 16 has been running well, especially in the role model of leadership, firmness of leadership, and supervision inherent / monitoring. But in terms of dimensions of punishment sanction and remuneration must be improved. Suggestions that can be given are 1) Required mechanism of interpretation and socialization of routine about work discipline 2) The need to hold and apply compensation or remuneration and promotion of position to improve discipline worker of workers consistent in discipline. In addition, it is necessary to increase the training or deepening of batik science to the workers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of system documentation, job planning, supervision of work, work environment, and job training on employee job satisfaction. The type of this research is using explanatory research with 50 respondents drawn using non probability sampling techniques. The analysis method of this research is using multiple regression analysis. Using a Likert Scale as the measuerment scale. The analysis method using linear regression analysis and the significance test with SPSS 16.0. From the result of data analysis it can be concluded that in partial documentation system has a positive effect on job satisfaction of employees by 25,5%, the variable job planning has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction of 44,1%, variable work supervision has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction of 23,6%, a positive work environment variables impact on job satisfaction of employees is 38,9%, the variable job training has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction by 24%.

Abstract

The work force in indonesia along the development of the changes. One of the amendments that is an influx of women in the work force. PT Phapros Tbk is one of the companies in semarang have female employees who in 2013 until 2016 an up and down in attendance or absentee fluctuant. Both are permitted employee performance can be seen from the dual role, job stress and motivation work.The purpose of this research is to find influence the dual role, job stress and motivation work on performance female employees in pt phapros tbk semarang city. Type research is explanatory research, to technique data collection through the questionnaire and interview. The sample techniques used technique purposive sampling. Sample 100 respondents were is an employee women pt phapros tbk semarang. This research using a technique the quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis use the validity, reliability test, a correlation coefficient, regression analysis simple and multiple, the coefficients determination, the significance ( test T and test F ).This research result indicates that there was a correlation in the category of strong between variables the dual role, job stress, and motivation work of the performance of employees where the value of r of 0,579. Variable free third was proven have a positive influence and significantly to employee performance. Evidenced by the results of the test positive regression of 0,146 to the dual role, 0,025 for stress work and motivation 0,307 to work. The f count of 16,168 greater than f table (2,703).Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggest PT Phapros tbk. to be able to create a pleasant working environment, manage stress well, pay attention to the quality and quantity of results of work of employees.

Abstract

: PT Pertamina (Persero) Unit Pemasaran IV merupakan BUMN yang bergerak di bidang usaha minyak dan gas bumi, serta kegiatan usaha lain yang terkait dengan tujuan profit. Kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu ukuran yang sering dipakai dalam menentukan efektivitas organisasi. Sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan tidak akan dapat berkembang apabila kinerja karyawannya juga tidak mengalami peningkatan apalagi dengan semakin tingginya tingkat persaingan yang ada dalam dunia bisnis. Motivasi dan pelatihan kerja mempunyai pengaruh dalam peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu kedua hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja karyawannya. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT PERTAMINA (Persero) UPms IV Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan explanatory research terhadap 57 responden yang diambil dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasar hasil analisis diketahui ada pengaruh positif antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisiensi determinasi sebesar 71,8%. Ada pengaruh positif antara pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 63,5%. Ada pengaruh positif antara motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 78,6%. Semakin tinggi tingkat motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

CV Laksana is a company engaged in the bus-making car body industry, located in Ungaran. The competition of the car body industry in Indonesia has begun to increase, so we need human resources who have high quality work. The performance evaluation of CVLaksana employees includes competence, work performance, cooperation, communication, loyalty, and initiative. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and compensation on employee performance (Study of Employees in the finishing division of CV Laksana Ungaran). This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique uses systematic random sampling technique. The number of samples taken was 75 respondents, who were finishing division employees. Research used to determine the effect of organizational culture and compensation on employee performance using statistics with the help of the IBM SPSS version 21.0 system The results showed that organizational culture affected employee performance by contributing 21%, compensation affected employee performance by contributing 18.9%, and simultaneously organizational culture and compensation affected employee performance contributing 28.7%. While the rest is influenced by factors other than organizational culture and compensation. Based on the calculation of the F Test shows that there is a significant influence between organizational culture and compensation on employee performance. Suggestions for improving employee performance in this study are the need to check the employee's work related to employee accuracy and orientation towards work results. Policy making should management consider the policy to be taken in order to have a positive impact on employees. The company need to socialization about the culture in CV Laksana namely 5R and Sat Dharma Laksana so that employees can be obeyed and implemented. In providing compensation, the company should consider based on input from several employees regarding the amount of salary, incentives, and benefits so that the range of salary, incentives, and benefits obtained as expected by the employee is obtained.

Abstract

Management information system and work environment are the keys to achieve employee performance. PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Jakarta Raya and Tangerang is a company which known as supplier and electric distributor which always try to give the best service for customer. Therefore it needs human resource which have a good performance. To raise employee performance, the company should increase management information system and work environment.This type of research is using explanatory research with 72 employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Jakarta Raya and Tangerang on Human Resource Department and Finance Department as population, and altogether become the sample of this research by using census sampling. This data is collected by questionnaire, and the measurement scale is Likert. Corelation, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression is used for the analysis with SPSS Program 18.0.The results show that management information system and work environment have partial and simultaneous effect to employee performance. Management information system variable has greater effect than work environment.The suggestions to PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution Jakarta Raya and Tangerang are more often to hold coaching for entire employees in order to make management information system can be used maximally and to reduce mistakes within task completion, provide more medicines to anticipate work accident and hopefully manager could listen and take advice from employees.

Abstract

One of the sources of funds obtained by the company comes from the sale of shares. Stock price changes up or down from time to time and it is caused by various factors. This research aims to test the influence of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Earning Per Share (EPS) against the stock price on the building construction sector sub companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015, either partially or simultaneously.The data used in this analysis is the reference point secondary data in the form of annual report and financial report published by IDX. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression.Results of the study stated that the CR, DER, ROA, ROE and EPS effect significantly to stock price. And simultaneously there was significant influence between CR, DER, ROA, ROE and EPS against the stock price on the building construction sector sub companies amounting to 72,7%, while the rest of 27,3% is explained by other variables that are not incorporated into the model.Based on the results of the study, the researcher suggested that the building construction sector sub companies to keep their financial performance which includes CR, DER, ROA, ROE and EPS so that stock prices rise. For investors who want to invest in stocks, should pay attention to the factor of EPS, because this research on EPS provide the most powerful influence on the price of the stock.

Abstract

This research aims to know the brand equity effect which is consists of four brand equity dimension, they are ; brand awareness; brand association; perceived quality and brand loyalty; and promotion to the decision of utilizing the Garuda Indonesia flight company service.  The hypothesis is there was brand equity variable effect and promotion to the decision of utilizing the Garuda Indonesia flight company service. The type of this research  is the explanatory research,the sample collecting technique is purposing sampling technique by 100 samples as the respondent. Hypotheses tested by correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and determination coefficient which is supported by SPSS for Windows as the analysis method. The result of this research shows that equity brand variable has significant effect to the decision of utilizing the Garuda Indonesia flight company service 37,4 %. The promotion variable has also significant to the decision of utilizing the Garuda Indonesia flight company service 30,3 %. Equity brand variable and promotion have effect to the purchasing decision 45,4 %.

Abstract

Aims to know the influence between the brand equity to customer loyalty through satisfaction at the Tribun Jateng newspaper. Type of research is explanatory research. Respondents in this study is the Semarang people who've bought the Tribun Jateng as many as 100 people. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability test, t-test, f test, path analysis and Sobel test.Results from this study is the brand equity have a significant effect on customer loyalty with t calculate equal to 8.569, brand equity have a significant effect on customer satisfaction with t amounted to 11.874, satisfaction significantly influence customer loyalty with t calculate equal to 8.322, satisfaction mediate between brand equity and customer loyalty partially, the result of the path analysis amounted to 0,367 direct effect while the indirect effect is 0.275808. From these results it can be seen that the direct effect of brand equity to customer loyalty is greater than its indirect effect, results of the Sobel test, standard error of the magnitude of the indirect effect shows the results of 0.002605611, and found t count equal to 2.8934 larger of t table is 1.98447 thus it can be concluded that (Z) mediates the relationship between (X) and (Y).
