Abstract

The development of industries in Pangkep Regency is increasing, especially in large industries such as those in the area around the mine, namely PT. Semen Tonasa and Marble in Bungoro and Minasate'ne Districts. The location of these large industries is near residential areas without any boundaries or green fiber which limits settlements to industrial locations. This study aims to create a green city concept in the Pangkep Industrial Zone (KIPA) in the provision of public service facilities for the next 20 years. The data used in this study are the number of residents, existing conditions, number and radius of achievement of public, social and economic public service facilities. Data were analyzed in the calculation of projections, where the population projection data in 2034 was used as data to find out the number of public service facility needs in 2034, while spatial analysis was used to see the placement of each facility to serve residential settlements based on the radius of achievement of each of these facilities. The results of this study are, planning for public service facilities with the concept of green city in Pangkep Industrial Estate in 2034. Planning for public service facilities with this concept is to bring the facilities needed by residents to the location of settlements to civilize the community walking or using bicycles to reduce air pollution due to motorized vehicles and plan green spaces of up to 50% of the total area, especially the green fiber of the industrial area, to prevent the direct impact of the industry on residents' settlements.

Abstract

Halong area is an area consisting of protected, buffer and cultivation areas. It is feared that the development of settlements in the Halong Region will endanger the buffer zone which is useful for protecting the protected areas in Halong. The purpose of this study is to identify the weights of the variables that affect settlement development and predict settlement development in the Halong Region, Ambon City. The analytical method used is causative associative using cellular automata and kappa validation. Based on the analysis, the variables that influence the development of settlements in the Halong Region are distance to the main road, distance to health facilities, distance to worship facilities, distance to education facilities and distance to trade facilities. Furthermore, by using the weights of each variable and data on the number of houses in 2004, 2010 and 2013, we get a prediction of the development of the number of houses and a map of the distribution of new houses each year from 2014 to 2024.

Abstract

Along with increasing population in an area, the economic activity will also increase. Economic space can have its own character which is certainly influenced by the lifestyle of the people. One container of economic activity in urban areas is often found in the form of markets. The lifestyle of the urban community which is closely related to market preferences that has a short range (easily accessible) and practically encourages the growth of modern markets that compete with traditional markets as one of the people's economic activities in urban areas. This study aims to determine the distribution patterns of traditional markets and the factors that influence these patterns in terms of market location and consumer behavior in the city of Makassar. The research method used is a quantitative method that is supported by descriptive analysis. Analysis of patterns of distribution of traditional markets is done by grouping traditional markets based on the legality of PD Pasar Makassar Raya. There are three distribution groups, namely official permanent markets, official and informal emergencies. To find the distribution patterns of traditional markets, the nearest neighbor analysis is used. The results showed that from the calculation of the value of the T index, it was known that the distribution patterns of the official permanent traditional markets formed a random pattern, the official emergency traditional markets formed a clustered pattern and the informal markets formed a random pattern. Especially for the official permanent market, even though the T index value shows a random pattern, but by looking at the distribution map. The distribution of the official permanent market and the official official emergency predominantly cluster in the city center, while the informal market forms a pattern of spread to the center and suburbs.

Abstract

Belang-Belang Fishing Village has physical and non-physical characteristics. Physical characteristics analyzed are geographical location and infrastructure including road networks, green open spaces and building functions. Non-physical characteristics include aspects of population and livelihoods. The purpose of this study was to identify the physical and non-physical characteristics of Belang-Belang Fishermen Village, identify seaweed management processes and divide zoning based on physical characteristics and seaweed management processes in the Belng-Belang Fishermen Village Area. The research method is done descriptively with spatial analysis techniques in the form of map overlay techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Belang-Belang Fishermen Village in general has not been well-ordered, so zoning is needed. Zoning is done by identifying the physical characteristics and management processes. The physical characteristics in question are geographical location, infrastructure facilities which include road networks, green open spaces and building functions. Seaweed management is divided into three zones, namely pre-production, production and distribution zones. The pre-production zone is divided into seaweed nursery, seaweed planting and seaweed drying zones. Furthermore, there are no production zones in the research area so seaweed products obtained are directly sold through distribution channels.

Abstract

For S1 students of the Regional and Urban Development Study Program (PWK) who are educated and trained as professional and quality spatial planning, knowledge and expertise in planning 10 types of regional and city infrastructure is very important and absolutely essential to master. This competency was originally obtained by 4th semester students in the Infrastructure Planning and Transportation Course. But based on the evaluation of learning that has been done since the last 4 semesters (2011/2012 to 2014/2015), the achievement of these competencies is still far from the expected target. Mainly in understanding the material, less than 5% of participants were able to fully understand the material in 10 types of infrastructure in full, the rest were only able to properly understand material 1 or several types only. This study aims to determine whether the application of the cooperative learning model student team learning type can increase participant understanding, while enhancing 2 other aspects of competency achievement, namely social skills and practical planning skills. In addition, this study also aims to determine whether the application of this learning model can increase the enthusiasm, activeness and satisfaction of participants in the learning process. The method used in this study is a literature review of the cooperative learning model student team learning type, the application of the stages of the model in class, and the observation of the process and assessment of learning outcomes. Along with improvements to the learning method, improvements were made to the main components of learning and the application of its improvement in the class under study.
