The Values of Local Wisdom in the Collection of Nusantara Folklore This study is motivated by the importance of preserving Indonesian cultural values embedded in folklore as a form of inherited heritage. Folklore serves not only as entertainment but also as an educational medium containing moral messages and local wisdom. However, in the era of globalization, these values are at risk of fading if not systematically studied and documented. Therefore, this study aims to describe the values of local wisdom in terms of peace and welfare aspects found in the book Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Nusantara, based on a literary anthropology perspective using Robert Sibarani’s concept. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research design. The primary data source is the text of folklore contained in the book, while secondary data are obtained from relevant literature. Data collection techniques include documentation and in-depth reading (close reading). Data analysis is conducted using content analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through source and theoretical triangulation. The results reveal that there are 198 instances of local wisdom categorized into two main aspects: peace (122 data) and welfare (76 data). The peace aspect includes values such as politeness, honesty, harmony, gratitude, and social solidarity. Meanwhile, the welfare aspect consists of hard work, cooperation, discipline, and cultural preservation. These findings indicate that Indonesian folklore plays a significant role in character building and the preservation of cultural values, making it highly relevant as instructional material in education based on local wisdom.

ANALYSIS OF CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN THE FILM SANG PRAWIRA DIRECTED BY PONTI GEA The purpose of this study is to describe the Value of Character Education in the Sang Prawira Film directed by Ponti Gea. This study uses a descriptive approach to qualitative research. The object of this study is the Sang Prawira Film directed by Ponti Gea. The data collection technique used is by observing and taking notes. The data analysis technique is carried out by looking for dialogue scenes that describe the value of character education. The values of character education that researchers found include religious values, tolerance values, honest values, hard work values, democratic values, social care values, national spirit values, discipline values, values of appreciating achievement, communicative values, creative values, values of love for the homeland and values of responsibility.

LITERARY ECOCRITICS IN THE CHILDREN'S BOOK A THOUSAND RIVERS VOLUME 1-5 BY RAHMAN HAFIZ AL MUBARAQ Children's literature plays a strategic role in building ecological awareness from an early age. Rahman Hafiz Al Mubaraq's book "Stories for Children of a Thousand Rivers" volumes 1–5 presents a depiction of the life of river communities who are closely connected to nature and their surroundings. This representation is interesting to study because it contains ecological values that are relevant to current environmental conditions. This study aims to describe the depiction of nature and analyze the relationship between humans and nature reflected in the book "Stories for Children of a Thousand Rivers" volumes 1–5 based on a study of literary ecocriticism. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data source is the book "Stories for Children of a Thousand Rivers" volumes 1–5 by Rahman Hafiz Al Mubaraq. The research data consists of story excerpts containing depictions of nature and the relationship between humans and nature. Data collection techniques are carried out through reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on indicators of depictions of nature and the relationship between humans and nature. The results of the study indicate that the depiction of nature in the book "Stories of Children in a Thousand Rivers" includes natural disasters, environmental pollution, and animal life that are part of the river ecosystem. The relationship between humans and nature is reflected through attitudes of respect for nature, responsibility for nature, and not destroying nature. This relationship demonstrates an ethical relationship between humans and the environment that places humans as part of the natural ecosystem. This study concludes that the book "Stories of Children in a Thousand Rivers" contains ecological educational values that have the potential to shape environmental awareness in child readers.

UTILIZATION OF LANGUAGE STYLE AND IMAGERY IN THE POETRY COLLECTION "Mengaji Bukit Mengeja Danau" BY D. ZAWAWI IMRON FOR LEARNING IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of figures of speech and imagery contained in the poetry collection Mengaji Bukit Mengeja Danau by D. Zawawi Imron and examine its application in learning poetry texts in grade VIII of junior high school. The background of this study is based on the difficulties experienced by students in distinguishing various types of figures of speech and imagery and implementing them in poetry learning activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The research data source is the poetry collection Mengaji Bukit Mengeja Danau, while the research data are in the form of words, phrases, and lines of poetry that contain elements of figures of speech and imagery. The data collection technique is carried out through document analysis with a systematic reading and note-taking method. The data analysis technique includes the data reduction stage to sort relevant data, data presentation through grouping based on the type of figures of speech and imagery, and drawing conclusions accompanied by verification through interpretation of its application in learning. The results show that in the poetry collection there are 11 types of figures of speech and 5 types of diverse imagery. This diversity reflects the richness of language styles that can be a source of contextual and interesting learning. The findings of this study have important implications for education, particularly as teaching materials that can help improve students' understanding of the intrinsic elements of poetry. By utilizing the results of this analysis, teachers can develop more varied learning strategies, enabling students to more effectively recognize, understand, and identify the types of figures of speech and imagery in poetic works.

THE EFFECT OF THE USE OF THE DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL ON THE READING AND COMPREHENSION SKILLS OF NEWS TEXTS OF GRADE VII STUDENTS UPT SMP NEGERI 2 SHADOW The low reading comprehension skills of seventh-grade students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Bayang are the background of this research. The main problems include students' difficulties in understanding explicit and implicit information, as well as their low ability to draw conclusions from the texts they read. This study aims to analyze the effect of the discovery learning model on news text reading comprehension skills. The research method used was a pre-experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 26 seventh-grade students selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was an objective test of news text reading comprehension skills. The results of data analysis showed a significant increase in the average score from 72.16 (More than Sufficient) in the pretest stage to 92.49 (Very Good) in the posttest stage. Hypothesis testing using a t-test showed that t count > t table at a significance level of 0.05. These results are supported by the N-Gain value which is in the high category. These findings demonstrate that the discovery learning model has a significant impact on optimally improving students' news text reading comprehension skills.

THE EFFECT OF THE RADEC LEARNING MODEL ON WRITING SKILLS OF SHORT STORY TEXTS OF GRADE VIII STUDENTS OF SMPN 7 PADANG This study aims to determine the effect of the RADEC (Read–Answer–Discuss–Explain–Create) learning model on the short story writing skills of eighth-grade students of SMPN 7 Padang. Short story writing skills are an important part of learning Indonesian that requires mastery of the structure, elements, and linguistic features. This study uses a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two randomly selected classes, namely the experimental class using the RADEC model and the control class using the conventional learning model. The research instrument was a short story writing test that was analyzed based on the structure, intrinsic elements, and linguistic features of the short story text. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive effect of the application of the RADEC model on students' short story writing skills. The RADEC model helps students understand the steps of writing systematically and improves the quality of their writing. Thus, the RADEC model is effective for use in learning to write short stories.

The Effect of Workload, Job Stress, and Work-Life Balance on the Performance of Generation Z Employees in DKI Jakarta This study is motivated by the growing demand for employee productivity in urban workplaces, particularly among Generation Z employees who face dynamic work demands, psychological pressure, and the need to maintain work-life balance. Generation Z employees are generally adaptive to technology, yet they also place strong emphasis on flexibility, mental well-being, and personal life balance. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, job stress, and work-life balance on the performance of Generation Z employees in DKI Jakarta. A quantitative approach with descriptive and causal-associative methods was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 113 Generation Z employees working in DKI Jakarta. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and coefficient of determination with SPSS 27. The findings indicate that workload does not have a significant partial effect on employee performance, while job stress has a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, workload, job stress, and work-life balance significantly affect employee performance, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.791, indicating that the three variables explain 79.1% of the variance in employee performance. These findings imply that organizations should manage job stress effectively, strengthen policies that support work-life balance, and regulate workload proportionally to improve the sustainable performance of Generation Z employees in DKI Jakarta.

Work-Life Balance Analysis and Work-Life Analysis on the Performance of Employees of the Distributor Check-In and Check-Out Shipping Section at PT. AAA This study aims to examine the effect of Work-Life Balance and Work-Life Analysis on employee performance at the Distributor Shipping Check-In and Check-Out Unit of PT. AAA. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 35 employees, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, in which all members of the population were selected as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results indicate that Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 4.189 and a significance level of < 0.001. Work-Life Analysis also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 3.404 and a significance level of 0.002. Simultaneously, Work-Life Balance and Work-Life Analysis have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an F-value of 67.060 and a significance level of < 0.001. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.795 indicates that both independent variables explain 79.5% of the variance in employee performance. Furthermore, Work-Life Balance was found to be the most dominant variable influencing employee performance.

PARTICIPATORY CULTURE OF K-POP FANS IN NORAEBANG PARTY ACTIVITIES (A NETNOGRAPHIC STUDY OF #NORAEBANG PARTY VIDEO CONTENT UPLOADS ON TIKTOK) This study aims to describe the participatory culture of K-Pop fans in Noraebang Party activities on TikTok. Noraebang Party has developed as a fandom practice that functions not only as entertainment, but also as a medium for social interaction, identity formation, and popular cultural expression. This study uses a qualitative approach with a netnographic method by observing fans’ digital activities through video content uploaded with the hashtag #noraebangparty on TikTok. The research data were obtained through digital observation, documentation of video uploads, comment analysis, and short interviews with several users involved in the activity. The findings show that participatory culture in Noraebang Party is formed through fans’ active involvement in singing together, using K-Pop attributes, imitating idol styles, documenting activities, and sharing experiences through social media. These activities create a sense of togetherness among fandom members because fans do not merely act as audiences, but also participate in producing and distributing content. TikTok serves as a space that expands participation through comments, likes, reposts, and hashtag use. In addition, Noraebang Party demonstrates that K-Pop fandom has the ability to build an expressive, creative, and collaborative community. This activity also shows the exchange of meaning among fans through symbols, song lyrics, body movements, and visual attributes. Participation strengthens emotional closeness, belonging, and self-recognition as part of a fan community. Therefore, Noraebang Party can be understood as a form of participatory culture that combines entertainment, fan identity, and communication practices within a dynamic space of popular culture among young social media users.

THE EFFECT OF THE PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED BY ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA ON THE POETRY WRITING SKILLS OF GRADE X PHASE E STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 5 PADANG This study aims to analyze the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, supported by animated video media, on the poetry writing skills of Grade X (Phase E) students at SMA Negeri 5 Padang. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 397 Grade X (Phase E) students, while the sample comprised 40 students from class X-E.1, selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a poetry writing performance test, evaluated based on diction, figurative language, thematic relevance, and imagery. Data analysis involved normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the students' average poetry writing skill score prior to the implementation of the animated video-assisted PjBL model was 47.81 (classified as "Almost Sufficient"), whereas after implementation, it rose to 77.89 (classified as "Good"). Hypothesis testing revealed that the calculated t-value (15.31) exceeded the t-table value (1.69) at a significance level of 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the animated video-assisted PjBL model on students' poetry writing skills. Thus, the animated video-assisted PjBL model is effective as an alternative instructional approach for enhancing poetry writing skills in high school.
