Abstract

In line with the objectives of Fiqh education, which aim to equip students with a deep understanding of Islamic laws and their implementation, so they can apply them in their daily lives, instilling Fiqh values in students from an early age is crucial. This is especially important in an increasingly modern era, as it forms the most fundamental foundation in their growth and development related to Islamic laws. The objectives of this research are: (1) To describe the implementation of formative evaluation in Fiqh education at MTs Al-Mukarrom Ponorogo. (2) To describe the implementation of summative evaluation in Fiqh education at MTs Al-Mukarrom Ponorogo. (3) To identify the obstacles in the implementation of these evaluations and find solutions. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting direct interviews with teachers and students. The data collection techniques used are direct interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the summative and formative evaluation programs at MTs Al-Mukarrom Ponorogo have been implemented in accordance with the program formulated by the school. Summative evaluation at MTs Al-Mukarrom is conducted through end-of-semester exams designed to measure students' understanding of the material taught over the semester. Formative evaluation, on the other hand, is applied continuously during the learning process. Teachers use various methods such as quizzes, class discussions, and daily assignments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. The challenges faced in implementing these evaluations include time constraints, lack of resources, and variations in student abilities. The solutions offered include teacher training to improve evaluation skills, the use of technology for efficiency, and a more personalized approach in providing feedback to students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observation data showing teachers' efforts in the affective domain towards internalizing politeness values ​​at MA Ma'Arif Al-Mukarrom. To respond to this, the researcher conducted an environmental action research in the Madrasah which aims to determine efforts in internalizing politeness values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method which aims to understand the phenomena that exist in Madrasah AL-Mukarom. Data collection for this research uses interview and observation techniques. The objectives to be achieved in this research include: (1) Knowing efforts to internalize politeness values ​​in students, (2) Knowing the increase in the results of implementing the affective domain of internalizing politeness values. This research was conducted in the Madrasah Al-Mukarrom environment. This research measures the affective domain, especially in internalizing politeness values. In its implementation, there are several implementation processes, including; 1) Implementing the 5S culture, in the Madrasah Al-Mukarom environment and has implemented including; a) Greetings and shaking hands between students and educators in front of the Madrasah. b) Giving a smile when passing by. c) Greeting when meeting in class with, from the three applications, it functions to instill student character. 2) Implementing the habit of praying Dhuha and Dhuhur in congregation, which is expected to instill the values ​​of togetherness and solidarity among students. 3) Implementing the habit of reading the Quran, which is expected to increase their love and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings. From the research data, it is recommended to teachers to further implement the values ​​of politeness in the Madrasah Al-Mukarrom environment.

Abstract This research aims to find out about teacher perceptions in implementing Independent Curriculum learning at MA Al-Islam Joresan. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach model. The research subjects were teachers, madrasa heads and students at MA Al-Islam Joresan. Data collection techniques and instruments in this research used observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that teachers' perceptions regarding learning planning for the 2013 curriculum at MA Al-Islam Joresan towards the independent curriculum are quite varied. Most educators agree that the switch from the 2013 curriculum to an independent curriculum is beneficial and helps students achieve their learning goals. Even though the idea of changing the curriculum is in the good category, if teachers are not flexible and ready, then implementation will be difficult. There are several factors that become obstacles in planning Merdeka curriculum learning at MA Al-Islam Joresan, namely the quality of human resources, in this case teachers, which are still inadequate, facilities and learning resources that are still very minimal, and teachers who are not yet technologically adept This research aims to find out about teacher perceptions in implementing Independent Curriculum learning at MA Al-Islam Joresan. Abstract

The item questions are a crucial element in the educational assessment process, serving to measure students' understanding and thinking abilities. The design of test items is carried out by considering cognitive aspects in accordance with Bloom's Taxonomy, which encompasses various levels of thinking from basic knowledge to analysis and evaluation. This study employs a qualitative approach using interviews and observations to identify the steps taken by teachers in designing test items. The findings indicate that the teachers at MTs An-Najiyyah have made efforts to align the test items with the curriculum and learning outcomes, as well as to establish clear learning objectives as the foundation for designing the questions. However, challenges arise when teachers struggle to understand and identify each cognitive level, which can hinder their ability to formulate questions that align with the desired levels of thinking, particularly in creating questions that demand higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

Affective assessment is the most important part of learning. In assessing student attitudes, teachers use instruments by creating a table consisting of student names and attitudes as a whole, without reference to assessment guidelines (rubrics). This study highlights the steps of affective assessment guidelines at SMPN 2 Ponorogo starting from determining the aspects to be assessed to the scoring stage. The main purpose of writing and researching this article is to explain the affective assessment guidelines so that they are in line with the demands of the curriculum that emphasizes the importance of character development and moral values in education. So that it can improve the quality of education and achieve educational goals. The method used in this writing is a type of survey research with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. There are 2 sources of data taken, namely primary data sources from interviews with SMPN 2 Ponorogo teachers and secondary data sources through references in obtaining data. In-depth study of books, journals, and other sources. using reference data sources in the form of books, journals and other sources.Keywords : affective,assessment, steps

Abstract

Education is one of the essential sectors for a country. A nation is considered advanced when it pays significant attention to the education of its people. The human resources of a country depend heavily on its educational system. This study aims to identify issues related to the completeness of school final examination question instruments at MA Miftahul Ulum Kedungpanji, Magetan, to support efforts in improving education quality. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and interviews to collect data on question instruments, including question blueprints, question cards, review cards, item analysis, answer keys, and scoring systems. The findings reveal deficiencies in the completeness of these instruments, which could affect the accuracy of assessing students' abilities. These findings contribute to improving question instruments to ensure more effective and accurate learning evaluations.

Abstract

The discussion in this research is the difficulty in preparing teaching modules. Teaching modules cannot be implemented properly because teachers have difficulty creating teaching modules. Therefore, this research focuses on teachers' difficulties in compiling teaching modules at middle school. The type of research used is qualitative research. This research was conducted at MTs Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo which uses the independent curriculum. The data source for this research used interviews with 2 teachers who taught at MTs Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo. This research instrument uses an interview guide grid and interview sheet. Based on the identification of interview results, there were several teachers who experienced difficulties in compiling teaching modules. The difficulties experienced by the teacher in adapting the material to students' needs, limited understanding of the frequently changing curriculum, limitations in selecting media and effective learning methods.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas tentang penerapan kemampuan analisis siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI pada aspek kognitif di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan analisis siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI aspek kognitif ini diterapkan pada kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang digunakan untuk melihat fenomena yang terjadi dan memberikan gambaran secara rinci mengenai proses dan hasil penerapan pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara terhadap Guru PAI dan siswa kelas XII di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kemampuan analisis siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama, mengembangkan keterampilan berfikir kritis dan logis, serta memperkuat keyakinan agama. Faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan kemampuan analisis adalah strategi pembelajaran guru, motivasi siswa, dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengintegrasian kemampuan analisis dalam kurikulum PAI untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the progressivism-based Dick and Carey model in increasing the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. This research focuses on the steps in implementing the learning model, including communicating learning objectives based on Islamic values, analysis of student characteristics, project-based development strategies or group discussions, as well as implementation and evaluation of learning based on creative assignments. Apart from that, this research also identified supporting factors, such as teacher competence, school facilities, and curriculum support, as well as inhibiting factors such as time constraints, teachers' lack of understanding of progressivism, and student resistance to new methods. The research method used is a qualitative approach using interview techniques, observation and document analysis. The research results show that although there are several challenges, implementing this model can increase the effectiveness of PAI learning by strengthening students' character and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji langkah penilaian sumatif oleh guru PAI dalam mata pelajaran Fikih di MI Ma’arif Patihan Kidul. Penilaian sumatif merupakan evaluasi yang dilaksanakan di akhir periode pembelajaran untuk mengukur capaian siswa berdasarkan tujuan pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut penilaian sumatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan guru Fikih terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan penilaian sumatif harus memenuhi beberapa langkah-langkah, mulai dari awal perencanaan penilaian hingga evaluasi akhir atau penskoran. Langkah-langkah tersebut harus selaras dengan tujuan RPP dan silabus. Pelaksanaan penilaian tersebut harus dilakukan secara sistematis dari proses pembuatan kisi-kisi hingga dengan pembagian laporan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa langkah-langkah penilaian sumatif di MI Ma’arif Patihan Kidul telah dilakukan dengan baik sesuai dengan pedoman penilaian sumatif.
