Abstract

Election administrative violations occur at the time of the implementation of the general election by election organizers and contestants. Sometimes, they do not realize that they have committed a violation. Since the general election during the reformation period after the fall of the New Order in Indonesia, there have been frequent violations of election administration resolved through administrative courts through the State Administrative Court. The dispute resolution was carried out after complaints were made through Bawaslu and DKPP as administrative dispute resolution (ADR) institutions and did not bring results.  This administrative violation is considered detrimental to the candidate contesting the election, causing a dispute between the candidate contesting the election and the organizers of the general election. This article examines the process of resolving electoral administrative disputes in Indonesia and the judiciary's role in resolving electoral administrative disputes. Several examples of cases of election administration violations that occurred and their causes obtained through empirical studies using the technique of documenting judges' decisions that have permanent legal force at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia were analyzed using inductive logic.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the shifting of political education at Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (Prosperity and Justice Party (PKS). I employ theory of social contract to analyze phenomena involving the elites and the rest of the Muslims. This research is a study of the literature complemented with an in-depth interview with those who involve in the political education either as the subjects or objects of it. The data, then, were analyzed by means of a method of critical discourse. The political education shifting, partly, is related to the shifting of conception on the relationship between Islam, as normative values, and Indonesia, as the context for its implementation. At first, PKS tends to produce a cadre who has strong characters such as a pious cadre and loyal to the party. Majority of the elite party failed to represent themselves at the Parliament. Then, they develop political education which produces activists who are capable of accommodating Islamic values to the political calculation. At last, PKS follows the market demand of middle class Muslims who aspire to produce the religious and modern young Muslim generation. By so doing, PKS is able to expand its political influence amongst the people, especially the Muslim.

This research results from active collaboration between universities online with the Pancasila & Citizenship learning design for international class students of FTI UII. This research aims to explore the results of online learning Pancasila and Citizenship from student reflections. This goal is to be achieved by analyzing qualitative data on student reflections and analyzing the results of student evaluations of the five-step learning program "To Live Pancasila in Our (Global) Citizenship". Qualitative analysis was carried out through content analysis, while the evaluation results were descriptive responses. The reflections of 24 student respondents were gathered into the categories of Pancasila, Citizenship, Meaningful, and Reflect on the Future. The results of the analysis show that the Pancasila & Citizenship course has a novelty in meaning, learning content, and future reflection. The content of learning is about law/regulation, daily life, religious aspects, and tolerance. Furthermore, tolerance breeds respect/appreciation/appreciation. Learning content is conveyed through virtual interactions towards meaningful learning. Future reflection here is related to the learner's awareness or choice manifested in participation. The learning approach, which is blended learning and flipped material, allows students to understand the material and deposit it in reflection

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the implementation of autonomy in Aceh by using descriptive research methods through literature review. Based on the analysis of the literature sources, it can be found that the policy of regulation and division of territory as well as the pattern of relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments at the beginning of independence were pragmatic and tended to generalize, this could lead to armed conflicts such as in Aceh. Thus, an asymmetric decentralization policy is needed so that it can meet the demands of the Acehnese people, which historically, geographically, and socio-religiously have their own uniqueness and have made a major contribution to the struggle to achieve and maintain Indonesian independence.
