Abstract

Post implementation of UU No. 22/1999 (revised with UU No. 32/2004) about Local Government, recruitment mechanism of Governor and Vice Governor of D I Yogyakarta is being discussed around public opinions. They are polarized into two main groups; first, a group to agree and support recruitment through decision, and second, to agree and support a conventional mechanism of recruitment used in several provinces, namely election. This paper tries to analyze recruitment of Governor and Vice Governor of DI Yogyakarta on the perspective of political ethics. This perspective of analysis is based on two approaches. The first is formal-juridical approach; it means analysis about recruitment of Governor and Vice Governor of DI Yogyakarta and its congruency with the laws, which are valid. And the second is philosophy of power ethics; it includes resources, legitimacy, and implementation of power. Recruitment mechanism of Governor and Vice Governor of DI Yogyakarta finds legal and juridical justification in the positive laws; they are UUD 1945 (Constitution of RI), UU No. 22/1948, UU No. 3/1950, UU No. 5/1974, UU No. 22/1999, and UU No. 32/2004. In the other hand, according to political ethics of Thomas Aquinas about resources, legitimacy, and implementation of power, resources and legitimacy of power during recruitment of Governor and vice Governor of DIY get the right way in ethics manner. They correlate further with implementation of the power. So that, recruitment of Governor and vice Governor of DIY in perspective of political ethics is not merely matter of feudalism or monarchy, but it relates more with a matter of resources, legitimacy and implementation of power. If the power is correctly implemented, the resources and legitimacy will grow up, so does the contrary.

Abstract

Development cf law within human dan societallfie is influnced by manyfactors, wether inside of the society itself or fivm outside. In National politics oflaw of a country included Indonesia some changes happen and influence application the law. After Indonesian reform, regulation on local autonomy which is broad, tangible, and accountable needs reinforcement of law among society in its application. Itis urgently neccessary according to the principles of that the essence of democracy is form, by, and for the people. Reinforcement ofsocietallaw will be effective if there was effort to empower society by means of atmosphere or climate which enables the development ofpotentials ofit It will be if there is an attempt to protect weak society form being weaker.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural country, multiethnic, multi-religious, and multi other things spreaded in the world. Therefore, it needs a wise, appropriate, and effective ways to respond so that the steps taken are not slipped ways and consequently endanger the sustainability of the nation in the future. Multicultural education is required by Indonesia to reduce the occurrence of horizontal conflicts between communities, because of differences in culture, ethnicity, customs, and religion is the emphasizing on learning to appreciate differences and not be regarded as causes of fragmentation. This can be done through selection of suitable material or nuanced tolerance towards all humans in the frame of together and do not emphasize the difference because of the spirit of ideology or their respective groups. Conceptually many religions and beliefs in the shades of multicultural are expected to bring about harmonious relationship, but in the implementation phase are still a lot of gaps between the expectation and realization due to some exclusive-uninded people still in multicultural society.

Abstract

This study discusses how to design the Civic Education (CE) of learning plan to develop awareness of the student on country defense. The problem examined in this research was how to plan so it can build awareness of the student on country defense. This study used a qualitative research approach with the descriptive method. The techniques of data collection were interviews, observation, and study the documentation. Subject in the research consists of CE experts, the Professor of the Department of MKDU, and the students of various disciplines in the Education University of Indonesia (UPI). Research results revealed that the planning study has been designed in accordance with the provisions of the planning of learning in higher education, but still need development in some components such as methods, resources, and learning materials. The findings of the expert revealed that: planning study to be prepared and developed according to the characteristics of the students.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the pesantren as a site of citizenship and its role in shaping civic culture in Madura. This research was qualitative with a case study The results of this study indicate that: 1) Pesantren as a site of citizenship was a place of sowing identity and spirit of religion and nationality for citizens who are participative, active, caring, sensitive and responsible. 2) The role of pesantren as a site of citizenship in shaping civic culture in Madura, appears in the field of education, social, and politics through the inculcation of religious and national values, community empowerment, and political involvement. All of that were voiced on the religious values that characterize pesantren as an institution of Islamic education. Pesantren with traditional managerial patterns was guided by an open and moderate religious understanding. In the pesantren with modern managerial patterns, the programs were based on Islami, Tarbawi, Ma'hadi, and Indonesiawi. The forms of overcoming the problem were the empowerment of alumni and cooperation with the community.

Abstract

Era globalisasi ini rentan sekali masuknya nilai-nilai, norma, bahkan ideologi baru yang secara mudah masuk ke dalam masyarakat ataupun komunitas-komunitas adat, masuknya hal tersebut melalui media massa seperti acara televisi, internet yang sekarang ini sudah ada di seluruh pelosok negeri tanpa kecuali. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mengidentifikasi upaya eksistensi dan kendala masyarakat adat Kampung tujuh di tengah globalisasi desa wisata Nglanggeran, Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode etnografi. Warga masyarakat adat Kampung tujuh telah terpengaruh oleh adanya globalisasi yang terjadi di desa wisata Nglanggeran.  Namun demikian dari hasil observasi dan wawancara,  peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terpengaruh oleh globalisasi, masyarakat adat kampung tujuh masih mempertahankan keaslian adat istiadat dan menjalankan nilai-nilai adat dari leluhur.---------------------------------------------------------------------The existence of indigenous peoples amid globalization This era of globalization the community or indigenous communities are very vulnerable of entering new values, norms, and even ideologies through mass media such as television shows, the internet which now exists throughout the country without exception. The purpose of this article is to identify the existence and resistance of the Kampung Tujuh indigenous people amid the globalization of Nglanggeran tourism village, Gunungkidul. This study uses a qualitative approach, with ethnographic methods. The indigenous people of Kampung Tujuh have been affected by the globalization that took place in the tourist village of Nglanggeran. However, from the results of observations and interviews, the researchers concluded that despite being affected by globalization, the indigenous peoples of the village still maintain the authenticity of customs and carry out traditional values from their ancestors.

Abstract

This article discusses the concepts, principles, and procedures indeveloping instructional module as a unit of instruction. It best suited forindividualized learning. A module is an instructional package completed with theobjectives, lesson content, strategies, exercises, feedback, and tests.To deliver instructional message, there are two important principles thatcan be used in developing instructional module. First is instructional messagedesign (readiness and motivation, attention directing device, student’s activeparticipation, repetition, and feedback), and the second is the contextual teachingand learning (relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, and transferring).Those principles should be used in all of the components of instructionalstrategies (pre-instructional activities, presenting instructional material, learningguidance, eliciting performance, feedback, testing, and follow up activities(enrichment and remedial).The steps in developing modular instruction begin with writing theobjectives, selecting instructional materials, determining instructional strategies,selecting media, developing instrument and evaluation procedures, and the last iswriting the reference.Key words: Modular instruction, instructional message design, contextualteaching and learning, instructional strategy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pembinaan karakter dan hambatan penyertaannya dilihat dari teori role taking pada masyarakat "Griya Kota"Tulungagung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Proses pembinaan karakter dan moral anak pada tahap persiapan awal dilakukan dengan mengenalkan nilai-nilai agama sejak dini. Media yang digunakan bisa audio maupun visual dengan konten religious. Detail tahap perkembangan dan kebutuhan kesehatan anak untuk kesiapan membangun karakter sangat diperhatikan. Pada tahap play stage lebih selektif dalam memilih tayangan media dan juga teman bermain bagi anak. Sementara di tahap gama stage, berupaya memberikan contoh baik terhadap anak dengan ucapan dan perilaku keseharian mereka serta menambah intensitas pengawasan meskipun tidak secara langsung untuk memastikan perkembangan anak. Pada tahap generalized others para orang tua lebih memberikan kepercayaan pada anak untuk mengembangkan kecakapan dengan dukungan fasilitas dan doa. Minimalisasi hambatan dibangun melalui komunikasi yang baik pada semua pihak dengan mengedepankan keguyuban warga melalui berbagai media, sekaligus menjadi teladan yang inspiratif.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This study aims to explain the character building and the obstacles of viewers seen from the role-taking theory in the community "Griya Kota" Tulungagung. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study type. The results showed the process of fostering the character and morals of children in the early preparation stage is done by introducing religious values from an early age. The media used can be both audio and visual with religious content. Detailed stages of development and the health needs of children for the readiness to build character is noticed. In the play stage more selective in choosing media impressions and also playmates for children. While in the game stage, trying to provide good examples of children with their daily sayings and behaviors and increase the intensity of supervision, although not directly to ensure the development of children. At the stage of generalized others, the parents are more confident in the child to develop skills with the support of facilities and prayers. To minimize barriers is built through good communication on all sides in the same manner, as well as being an inspirational example.

Abstract

Up to now, Civic Education was utilized as an instrument for regime (to support them). The common perception, this subject was more political in favor than academic one. With the spirit of reformation, new paradigm of Civic Education should be self-reformed, include reorientation both vision and mission. Revitalization of role, and structuring curriculum. In the new Indonesia Civic Education discourse, the comprehensive compentencies of Civic Education include civic knowledge, disposition, and skill.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: ditemukan sebuah desain Model Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Era media digital sebagai pendukung Implementasi pendidikan karakter. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development (R&D), yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji validitas dan keefektifan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan prosedural. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation). Sampel dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan Perguruan Negeri Negeri dan Swasta di Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: pertama Analisis yaitu melakukan analisis kebutuhan, mengidentifikasi masalah (kebutuhan), dan melakukan analisis tugas. Kedua, Design, Tahap desain ini, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran. Ketiga, Development adalah proses mewujudkan blue-print dengan inovasi media digital. Keempat, Implementation adalah langkah nyata untuk menerapkan sistem pembelajaran yang sedang kita buat. Kelima, Evaluation yaitu proses untuk melihat apakah sistem pembelajaran yang sedang dibangun berhasil, sesuai dengan harapan awal atau tidak. Evaluasi merupakan langkah terakhir dari model desain sistem pembelajaran ADDIE. Berdasarkan pengembangan instruksional model ADDIE tersebut kemudian diadopsi dalam tahapan pengembangan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, dengan kebaharuan "MPC" (Modification of Project Citizen) yang relevan di era media digital dan dikembangkan berdasarkan implementasi pendidikan karakter dan ketercapaian kompetensi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This research aims to find out a design of Citizenship Education Learning Model in the era of digital media as a support for the implementation of character education. The research method uses research and development (Research and Development (R & D), which is a research method used to produce specific products and test the validity and effectiveness of the product. This study uses a procedural development model. The procedure in this study adapted the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation) The sample in this study involved State and Private Universities in Central Java. The results of the study showed the following: first Analysis is to do a needs analysis, identify problems (needs), and perform task analysis. The design phase is to formulate learning objectives Third, Development is the process of creating blueprint with digital media innovation Fourth, Implementation is a real step to implement the learning system that we are making Fifth, Evaluation is a process to see whether the learning system successful according to initial expectations or not. Evaluation is the final step of the ADDIE learning system design model. Based on the ADDIE model instructional development, it was later adopted in the stages of developing the Citizenship Education learning model, with the modification of "MPC" (Modification of Project Citizen) relevant in the era of digital media and developed based on the implementation of character education and achievement of competencies in Citizenship Education.
