Abstract

This study analyzes the evolution of family law in Luxembourg in the era of globalization. The research aims to examine how globalization influences legal transformation in family law, particularly in terms of legal recognition of diverse family forms, gender equality, and cross-border family relations. A normative legal research method is used with conceptual, statutory, and comparative approaches based on secondary legal materials, including legislation, EU regulations, academic literature, and judicial decisions. The findings indicate that Luxembourg family law has evolved significantly under the influence of European integration and international human rights standards, particularly through the recognition of registered partnerships, same-sex relationships, and liberalized divorce regulations. However, challenges remain in balancing traditional legal values, national sovereignty, and supranational legal influence. The study concludes that globalization has played a transformative role in shaping a more inclusive and human rights–based family law system in Luxembourg.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strengthening of restorative justice in criminal justice system reform through a comparative study between Indonesia and the Netherlands. The research aims to examine how restorative justice is implemented in both countries and how it contributes to the transformation of criminal justice systems toward more humanistic and rehabilitative approaches. A normative legal research method is used with conceptual, statutory, and comparative approaches based on secondary data from legal literature, official documents, and academic publications. The findings show that restorative justice in Indonesia is in a developing stage, primarily implemented through discretionary law enforcement practices, while in the Netherlands it is more institutionalized and integrated into the formal criminal justice system. Both countries share similar objectives in promoting reconciliation, reducing recidivism, and improving justice efficiency. However, differences exist in legal structure, institutional support, and implementation consistency. The study concludes that restorative justice is an important model for criminal justice reform, but its effectiveness depends on legal institutionalization, cultural acceptance, and continuous policy development.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic law in contemporary society, focusing on its principles, applications, and challenges in modern legal and social systems. The research employs a normative legal method with conceptual and doctrinal approaches based on secondary data from Islamic legal texts, academic literature, and institutional reports. The findings indicate that Islamic law regulates contemporary society through principles of justice, welfare, and ethical responsibility, implemented in areas such as finance, family law, and social welfare. However, challenges such as differing interpretations, globalization, and legal pluralism affect its implementation. The study concludes that Islamic law remains a dynamic and relevant legal system capable of addressing modern societal needs when supported by strong scholarly interpretation and institutional development

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic law in strengthening justice and social welfare in contemporary society. The research aims to examine how Islamic legal principles are applied in social and economic life and how they contribute to the realization of justice and welfare. A normative legal research method is used with conceptual and doctrinal approaches, based on secondary data from Islamic legal texts, academic literature, and institutional reports. The findings indicate that Islamic law promotes justice through the principle of ʿadl and enhances social welfare through mechanisms such as zakat, waqf, and other social finance instruments. However, challenges such as interpretative differences and globalization pressures affect its implementation. The study concludes that Islamic law remains a vital framework for promoting justice and social welfare when applied consistently within a structured legal system.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of multicultural law in strengthening inclusive and just legal systems. The research aims to examine how multicultural legal principles are applied in plural societies and how they contribute to justice, equality, and social cohesion. A normative legal research method is used with conceptual and comparative approaches, based on secondary data from legal literature, academic sources, and policy documents. The findings show that multicultural law supports the recognition of cultural diversity, protects minority rights, and enhances access to justice. However, challenges such as legal pluralism tensions and differences in cultural interpretations of justice remain significant obstacles. The study concludes that strengthening multicultural law requires a balanced integration of cultural values into national legal systems supported by strong institutional frameworks.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Islamic economic law in strengthening sharia-based economic systems. The research aims to examine how Islamic legal principles are applied in modern financial practices and how they contribute to building ethical, fair, and sustainable economic systems. A normative legal research method is used with statutory and conceptual approaches, relying on secondary data from legal documents, academic literature, and institutional reports. The findings show that Islamic economic law plays a crucial role in promoting justice, financial inclusion, and risk-sharing mechanisms through institutions such as Islamic banking, zakat, and waqf systems. However, challenges such as regulatory differences, limited human resources, and lack of public understanding still hinder its optimal implementation. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic economic law requires regulatory harmonization, institutional development, and increased public awareness to ensure the sustainability of sharia-based economic systems.

This study analyzes the socialization of anti-corruption values in building integrity among 6th grade elementary school students. The research aims to examine how values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and fairness are introduced and internalized through school-based learning and habituation practices. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach is employed, using data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the socialization of anti-corruption values is effective when integrated into daily learning activities and supported by teacher modeling and participatory learning methods. Students demonstrate improved understanding and behavioral consistency when values are contextualized in real-life school situations. However, challenges remain in ensuring consistency between school-based value education and the broader social environment. The study concludes that continuous and collaborative efforts between schools, teachers, and society are essential for strengthening students’ integrity through anti-corruption value socialization.
