Abstract

This article discusses the influence of celebrity endorsements, through interest in repurchasing Scarlett skincare, on consumer trust in the Tiktok online shop. The objects used are students at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya. The sample used in this research was 200 respondents. In this research, quantitative methods are used with a descriptive approach, the data collection techniques used by researchers are secondary data and primary data. Based on the conceptual framework created, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is that online customer reviews influence consumer trust and repurchase interest, and consumer trust influences repurchase interest.

Abstract

The success of an educational institution is influenced by the quality of education, as education plays a central role in shaping character and preparing future generations. This research aims to analyze the factors that hinder efforts to improve the quality of education at SD Negeri Lambangjaya 02, Tambun Selatan. This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type. Data collection was conducted using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the obstacles to improving the quality of education at State Elementary School Lambangjaya 02 include limited facilities and infrastructure, a lack of parental involvement, and challenges in school management. Thus, this requires the role of various elements such as school management, teacher qualifications, parental support, and educational facilities in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of remuneration and delegated leadership on employee job satisfaction. In today's competitive era, job satisfaction is a key factor influencing employee productivity and retention. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey of employees in various industrial sectors to explore the relationship between financial rewards, recognition, and the leadership methods applied. The research results show that fair and competitive remuneration contributes significantly to job satisfaction, while effective delegation leadership increases employee autonomy and engagement. These findings indicate that the combination of adequate rewards and an empowering leadership approach can create a more satisfying work environment, which in turn improves organizational performance. This article suggests companies to integrate fair remuneration practices and development of delegation leadership skills in human resource management strategies to achieve higher job satisfaction.

Abstract

Article about the analysis of the influence of identity formation and art education on cultural identity. The purpose of this writing is to build a hypothesis about the influence between variables that can later be used for further research. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this descriptive qualitative approach comes from previous research that is relevant to this research and is obtained from online academic media such as Taylor & Francis, Scopus Emerald, Web of Science, Sinta Journal, DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and digital reference books. The results of this article are: 1) Identity formation has an influence on cultural identity; 2) Art education has an influence on cultural identity.

Abstract

One of the challenges faced by the manufacturing industry is to increase the level of change in order to remain competitive in the market. Organizations must be able to respond to dynamic changes, a competitive environment in order to continue to survive and develop better. Workforce agility is viewed as a means for firms to survive and flourish effectively in the face of difficulties and competition. In this study, A theoretical model examining the impact of psychological empowerment and proactive behavior on workforce agility was developed and empirically tested. Multiple linear regression revealed that psychological empowerment and proactive behavior were favorably and substantially associated to workforce agility. The results also demonstrated that psychological empowerment has a greater influence than proactive behavior in explaining workforce agility.

Abstract

The practical pedagogy in basic to high school serves as the focus of research on democratic education management in Timor-Leste. The purpose of this research is to pinpoint the issues and obstacles or recommendations for forthcoming studies. The technical approach of this qualitative descriptive research analysis employs online research through digital library resources, journals, or printed materials, along with supplementary field research at the Ensino Básico 30 Ciclo Santo Luis Gonzaga school, located in Debos, Suai Covalima district. The participants in this study included a school principal, two teachers representing a total of 15 respondents, and two students representing 350 students at the school, in order to present the data for analysis. The data collection activities occurred in 2025 at the site of this research by administering the questionnaire forms to the participants. The outcome and discovery of this research highlight issues faced by schools, including challenges such as the shortage of teaching personnel resulting from the education Ministry's political policy to temporarily cease the employment of many teachers in the area due to innovations and reforms aimed at improving and enhancing the quality of education in Timor-Leste. The education system is offered to everyone equally, accessible to all without discrimination, in accordance with the state constitution and the enforcement of human rights laws in Timor-Leste.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has brought significant changes to English as a foreign language (EFL) learning, especially in writing skills. This article aims to conceptually examine the role of Artificial Intelligence tools and digital literacy in shaping EFL students' English writing skills. This study uses a conceptual review approach with a literature review method of scientific articles, books, and research reports relevant to writing learning, educational technology, and digital literacy. The results of the study show that the use of AI tools, such as grammar correction applications, machine-assisted writing, and automatic feedback, can help students improve linguistic accuracy, text organization, and metacognitive awareness in writing. However, the effectiveness of AI tools depends heavily on students' digital literacy, which includes the ability to understand, evaluate, and use technology critically and ethically. Digital literacy plays an important role in ensuring that the use of AI is not merely mechanical but also supports the development of critical thinking and creativity in writing. This article emphasizes that the balanced integration of AI tools and digital literacy can be a potential strategy for improving the quality of EFL writing instruction. These conceptual findings are expected to serve as a basis for educators and researchers in designing more effective technology-based writing instruction that is oriented toward the development of 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital media has transformed the way students learn English, particularly in developing speaking skills. One of the most widely used platforms among students is YouTube, which provides authentic language input through videos, dialogues, and real-life communication contexts. This study aims to explore the use of YouTube as a learning medium in boosting students’ speaking skills and self-confidence. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group taught using YouTube-based learning activities and a control group taught using conventional methods. The data were collected through speaking performance tests and self-confidence questionnaires. The results revealed that students who learned through YouTube showed significant improvement in both speaking skills and self-confidence compared to those in the control group. These findings suggest that YouTube can serve as an effective and engaging medium to enhance students’ oral communication ability and confidence in using English. Therefore, integrating YouTube into English language teaching is recommended to create a more interactive and motivating learning environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of various marketing strategies on customer retention in online shopping platforms. Specifically, it examines the influence of loyalty points, tiered membership, gamification, and free shipping. The results indicate that loyalty points, tiered membership, and gamification do not have a significant impact on customer retention, suggesting that incentive programs based on point accumulation, membership status, or game elements alone are insufficient to drive repeat purchase behavior. In contrast, free shipping has a positive and significant effect, highlighting that direct economic incentives providing tangible benefits are more effective in fostering customer loyalty. These findings imply that e-commerce managers should prioritize strategies offering immediate economic value, such as free shipping, to increase repeat purchases. Additionally, traditional loyalty programs and gamification elements should be restructured or combined with tangible rewards and clearly communicated benefits to enhance their effectiveness in retaining customers. This study contributes to a better understanding of consumer behavior in online retail and provides practical guidance for designing retention strategies that align with customer preferences and motivations.

Abstract

Health literacy is a crucial determinant of public health behavior, particularly in the control of infectious diseases in developing countries like Timor-Leste. Individuals' limited ability to access, understand, and use health information often results in low medication adherence and weak preventive behavior. This article aims to conceptually analyze the role of health literacy as a determinant of medication adherence and infectious disease prevention behavior from the perspective of social determinants of health. This study uses a literature review method with a narrative synthesis approach to relevant theories and empirical findings. The analysis shows that health literacy contributes by improving understanding of medical instructions, strengthening self-efficacy, and the ability to make informed decisions. Adequate literacy encourages adherence to therapy and consistent preventive behaviors, such as hygiene practices and utilization of health services. Conceptually, health literacy is positioned not only as an individual capacity but also as a structural factor influenced by the education system and public policy. Therefore, strengthening health literacy is a key strategy in infectious disease control.
