Abstract

As a Study Program in the new Faculty, it has produced over 400 alumni, but for ten years there has never been test the alumni side or from the stakeholder side (end user), so it is necessary to conduct research to test the satisfaction level of alumni and stakeholders. The research method used is a mixed-method with concurrent design, which uses quantitative and qualitative research. From the results of the study we can conclude it that the alumni feel quite satisfied with an average score of 3 on the three indicators; teaching and learning process, administration process and provision of facilities in Islamic Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Psychology. Therefore, it still needs to be improved in a lecture, computer and internet facilities. Islamic Psychology Study Program Faculty of Psychology has fulfilled most of the expectations of stakeholders and alumni. The advice given by stakeholders to the Faculty of Psychology to be more advance relates to improve physical facilities, human resources, services and competitiveness of graduates.

Abstract

This research mainly aims to explore competencies of training graduated which focuses on factors that influence competencies of training graduates, such as the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2008 and teaching quality of Widyaiswara. The main research problem addressed in this study is how the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2008 and teaching quality of Widyaiswara contribute to competencies of training graduates, both partially and altogether.I conducting this research, explanatory survey method is used with questionairres using likert and interval scales as the data collection techniques, that are distributed to 51 graduates of training at PPPPTK Penjas dan BK. To analyse the data, the study employs PPM (Pearson Product Moment), to investigate the direct and non-direct correlations of dependent and independent variables. Significance tests are administered using F-test and t-test. The results show that (1) the impelementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2008 significantly influences competencies of training graduates; (2) teaching quality of Widyaiswara significantly influences competencies of training graduates; and (3) both the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2008 and teaching quality of Widyaiswara significantly influence competencies of training graduates.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Reteh has two departments: IPA and IPS. Majors placement is an effort so that all students can develop their knowledge and skill,  accordance with their potential and interests. Students who take unsuitable courses with their potential and interests, will have a lot of problems in learning. Interest in their department can be influenced by parent, peer, and counselor. The purpose of this research is to describe and  determine the contribution a parent support, peer, and counselor to the occupied student’s interest. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The population in this study were students of class X and XI, the technique used purposive sampling. The instrument used a questionnaire with Likert scale. The results of the parent-support reliability test is 0.922, peer  is 0.908, counselor is 0.906, and the interest of students in the occupied department is 0.944. The data were analyzed using multiple regression. The findings of this study indicate that the results description support of parent, peer, and counselor individually or together to the student's interest in the occupied department in high category and results hypothesis the support of parent, peer, and counselor individually or together contribute to the student's interest in the occupied department.

Abstract

The concept of career development and selection by Ginzberg grouped into fourt elements: process, irreversibilitas, compromise and optimization. As for the career selection process occurs through three periods, namely the period starting fantasy childhood up to 11 years. Tentative period (early adolescence) at the age of 11 to 17 years, which consists of several stages, interests, capacities, values and transitions. Realistic period (mid-teens) at the age of 17 years to early adulthood, approximately 24 years old. This period consists of several stages, namely the exploration phase, and the phase crystallization and specification stage. The power of this theory is that an individual can gradually make the choice to get a career position. The weakness lies in the individual's relationship to the phasepassed.

Abstract

Bimbingan Teknis ini disenggarakan dalam upaya peningkatan atau pemecahan masalah dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di berbagai bidang. Kegiatan ini diberikan kepada Guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri 17 Limau Manis Padang. Guru-guru Sekolah ini merasa kurang memahami tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Setelah diberikan pelatihan/workshop tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas para guru yang terlibat sudah memilik pemahaman atau pengetahuan tentang pengertian penelitian tindakan kelas, karakteristik, prinsip prinsip, langkah-langkah dan alasan pentingnya penelitian tindakan kelas bagi guru di sekolah dasar. Respon guru pun cenderung positif dan menilai sangat baik,  mereka mendapatkan sesuatu yang baru, hal ini terlihat dari respon positif masing-masing guru dan kepala sekolah dari Sekolah Dasar Negeri 17 Limau Manis Padang. Begitu juga pihak sekolah menyediakan waktu untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop ini dan memfasilitasi tempat serta menerima kegiatan Ipteks ini dengan bersemangat, guru-guru juga mengikuti setiap sesi pelatihan dengan aktif dan antusias dalam melaksanakan kegiatan latihan mulai dari merancang proposal dan menyusun artikel hasil penelitian. Kegiatan ini perlu ditingkatkan untuk sekolah lain.

Abstract

Writing is one of important language skills which can help someone in delivering his opinion, feeling, and message. This research is aimed to increase students’ ability in writing letter a, i, u, e, o by applying drill method. Subject of this research are students grade I/C SDLBN 31 Pondok Duo Pariaman. This research consists of two cycles with 3 meetings for each cycle. Data of research were obtained through observation sheet and test. Researcher set the standard of succesfulness as 70%. After cycle I, got the students’ achievement percentage as 50%. Standard of students’ achievement percentage was achieved after the cycle II, it was 75%. Based on research result can be concluded that drill method in increasing students’ ability in wrting letter a, i, u, e, o.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (a) Pengaruh workshop penyusunan RPP pada kegiatan KKG Mini SDN 38 Sungai Limau  kabupatenPadang Pariaman  dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SDN 38 Sungai Limau   dalam  menyusun RPP. (b) Aktivitas guru –guru SDN 38 Sungai limau  dalam menyusun RPP selama kegiatan KKG penyusunan RPP pada kegiatan KKG. Masalah penelitian dirumuskan sebagai berikut:  a)  Bagaimana guru SDN 38 Sungai Limau dalam mempersiapkan penyusunan RPP selama workshop penyusunan RPP pada kegiatan KKG  kabupaten Padang Pariaman? b) Bagaimana guru SDN 38 Sungai Limau  dalam melaksanakan proses penyusunan RPP selama workshop penyusunan RPP pada kegiatan KKG mini SDN 38 Sungai Limau  kabupaten Padang Pariaman? c) Kendala apa yang ditemukan guru SDN 38 Sungai limau  dalam proses penyusunan RPP  yang lengkap dan sistematis selama workshop penyusunan RPP pada kegiatan KKG Mini  SDN 38 Sungai Limau? Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru SDN yang berada dalam naungan SDN 38 Sungai Limau  Kecamatan Sungai Limau Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang terdiri dari 9  orang. Hasil penelitian mengenai Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru –guru SDN 38 Sungai Limau  dalam Menyusunan RPP melalui Workshop Penyusunan RPP pada Kegiatan KKG diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : (a) Terjadi peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik Guru SDN 38 Sungai limau dalam menyusun RPP melaluiworkshop pada kegiatan KKG (b) Aktivitas guru dalam mengikuti workshop penyusunan RPP yang lengkap dan sistematis padasikluskedualebih baik daripada pada saat siklus kesatu

Abstract

Implementation of the non-test instrument is essential to support the guidance and counseling services in schools. Phenomenon in the field of guidance and counseling teachers less preparing/planning the implementation of the non-test instrument and there is guidance and counseling teachers who do not deliver the results to the students as well as less use of non-test instrument results . This study aims to describe students' opinions about: (1) preparation/planning, (2) the administration, (3) the delivery of results, and (4) the use of non-test instrument results. Type a descriptive study with a class XI student population numbering 178 people. Samples numbered 61 people were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by a percentage formula. The results showed that students' opinions on the implementation of the non-test instrument with respect to: (1) preparation/planning done well, (2) the administration, (3) the delivery of results, and (4) the use of non-test results is less instrument performing well.

Abstract

One of Indonesian national education goals is to educate the intellectual life of the nation which is embodied in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution. Education plays a very central role to facilitate students to prepare the demands of science and technology advancement in the 21st century. To achieve these goals, education requires a powerful learning methods which can improve the positive attitude toward science of student from an early age. This study aims to determine the differences in attitude toward science between students in experimental group who received projects based learning and students who become the control group. This was quasy experimental research with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The populations were VIII graders in Malang city. The sampling was 54 student selected using purposive sampling. Instruments were validated by expert and tried out. The reliability coefficients for attitude toward science scale was 0,954. The results showed that attitude toward science students in experimental group who received projects based learning has significant difference with students in control group.

Abstract

Perkhidmatan kaunseling di Malaysia tidak hanya bertapak di institusi pendidikan tetapi telah berkembang dengan pesat di pelbagai agensi kerajaan dan swasta mulai 1990an dengan tertubuhnya Unit Psikologi dan Kaunseling oleh Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia. Perkhidmatan kaunseling di institusi penjagaan kesihatan adalah bertujuan untuk membantu klien memahami dan berupaya menghadapi perasaan dan emosi berkaitan dengan masalah kesihatan di samping membantu klien untuk berkembang serta memberi sokongan yang berterusan sepanjang proses rawatan. Kajian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti isu dan cabaran yang dihadapi oleh para kaunselor dalam melaksanakan perkhidmatan kaunseling di institusi penjagaan kesihatan. Dapatan kajian mendapati enam tema utama isu dan cabaran yang dihadapi oleh kaunselor iaitu peranan kaunselor (24.6%), limitasi perkhidmatan (22.8%) kelayakan kaunselor (19.3%), aplikasi perkhidmatan kaunseling kesihatan (15.5%), cadangan penambahbaikan (14%) dan keperluan garis panduan (3.8%). Seterusnya, kajian ini juga membincangkan implikasi kajian terhadap peranan, latihan dan aplikasi kaunseling kesihatan di institusi penjagaan kesihatan.
