Abstract

Naskah ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pembahasan tentang pengaruh adiksi game online terhadap masalah mental emosional remaja dan peran layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam penanganannya. Adiksi game online adalah ketergantungan individu secara berlebihan terhadap game online dengan ingin melakukan secara terus-menerus yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan efek negatif pada fisik maupun psikologis individu. Individu yang memperlihatkan  gejala  kecanduan  game online  mengarah  pada  masalah  mental  emosional di antaranya adiksi game online dapat menyebabkan distorsi waktu, kurang perhatian, hiperaktif, tindakan kekerasan, emosi negatif, dan perilaku agresif. Peran bimbingan dan konseling diperlukan untuk mereduksi adiksi kecanduan game online pada remaja melalui pelayanan konseling di antaranya; konseling individual dengan menggunakan teknik rasional emotif terapi dan k.onseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Cognitif Behavior Teraphy (CBT).

Abstract

This research aims to get a research instrument, namely quality service lecturer at private university. The research method used mixed methods consists of literature reviews, interviews with students, expert validation, and a test use Rasch modeling. Literature review is carried out to obtain a description of the service quality according to the developing theory. Interviews with students aim to obtain items of review that fit the research context. Expert validation aims to obtain content validity. Collecting data through a questionnaire instrument containing 32 items. The number of respondents was 543 students at Pakuan University. The finding that 31 items of valid lecturer service quality instrument and one (1) item that is invalid must be discarded; This lecturer service quality instrument is very reliable because it has a reliability value above 0.9, both in terms of people reliability, alpha cronbach and item reliability. However, based on the item difficulty level test using item measure, item dimensionality and variable map, and Item: DIF test found several items that must be corrected.

Abstract

Teachers are an important part of education, the results of the achievements of education are proportional to the competencies of the teacher. One of the competency that teachers must have is pedagogical competence. This study aims to describe how the teacher’s pedagogical competencies on vocational high school of Padang City, with 86 research subjects, using the Teacher’s Pedagogical Competencies Inventory. The results of the study revealed that the teacher’s pedagogical competencies on vocational high school of Padang City is in a good category and this needs to be maintained and should be improved further.

Abstract

Lecturer evaluation is a complex and dynamic process based on the rules set by the organization. Effective monitoring is important for the successful development of lecturers as well as improving student learning performance within an Institution. Academic excellence is often associated with teaching methods by lecturers as well as student learning styles. Generally teaching is a process of skill delivery, knowledge dissemination, forming an individual's attitudes and values. While learning can be defined as the process of acquiring information and knowledge, mastering skills and habits as well as forming attitudes and beliefs. This study was conducted to determine the effect of monitoring the teaching and learning of lecturers based on five domains assessed namely the planning of teaching and instructional, instructional, competence and professionalism of lecturers, management teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to measure the performance of the lecturer by identifying the domain which contributed to the excellent score for the teaching and learning process of lecturer of JMSK Polytechnic Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. The sample of this study was 32 lecturers of JMSK, PSMZA who taught in 4 different departments namely Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Information and Communication Technology. Data obtained from e-sppp system and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science version 23.0. To determine the effectiveness of learning and teaching monitoring, the mean score distribution was taken to analyze the domain data studied. While the difference in teaching effectiveness of lecturers is seen based on the comparison of the mean score analysis by the domains evaluated for year 2016 and 2017. The effectiveness of learning and teaching monitoring will be excellent if each criterion is met and adapted by all lecturers in learning and teaching. Thus it will be a quality and excellent student. In conclusion, this study explains how teaching and learning process monitoring instruments can assist in the teaching process to measure the performance of lecturers on a regular basis. The findings from this study found that the mean score for all the domains studied from the monitoring instrument was at a high level.

Abstract

Perception of classroom environment and academic emotions have an important role in the educational context. Both have a relationship that can not be separated from each other. This study aims to examine the correlation between perception of classroom learning environment and academic emotions in junior high school students in the city of Bandung. Using the quasy experimental method with a quantitative approach with a correlational design with a sample of 81 respondents aged 12-14 years who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments in this study consisted of academic emotions questionnaire (AEQ) and my class inventory (MCI) that had been translated into Indonesian. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson product moment. The results showed a positive correlation between the dimensions of competitiveness with negative academic emotions and a negative correlation between the dimensions of satisfaction with negative academic emotions in junior high school students in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

Education always experiences change and development under developments in all areas of life. Rapid technological developments make it easier for humans to carry out their daily activities. Technology that is experiencing rapid development is an information technology, one of which is the internet. This study aims to describe differences in internet addiction between male and female students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Sample of this study was 258 students (47 male and 211 female). The analysis technique used is independent of sample t-test combined with a stacking Rasch model. The results of analysis showed that there was no difference in internet addiction between male and female students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Internet addiction of male and female students has no difference, it can see from the ability of students to answer instrument statements are the same this is show by the value of internet addiction (sig =.233), this states p-value> 0.05, which shows there is no significant difference in internet addiction between male and female students. It further states the discussion regarding counseling and guidance services.

Abstract

Entrepreneur education should be started in early-childhood start from introduction stages then be an entrepreneur agent. It is taught to children to be mentally an entrepreneur. Due to this activity which is design to support their business. The students began to comprehend themselves, control their emotion and stress, time management, flexible communication, and decision maker. Developing student's entrepreneur mentality increases the students’ characteristic and behavior, responsibility towards an entrepreneur theoretical and practically, which is taken the long term period process.

Abstract

Lembaga dakwah kampus (LDK) or Da’wah organization in campus as a student organization that concentrates on the Islamic teaching. This research uses a descriptive approach. In general, this study describes the behavior of radicalism and organizational behavior management among students of LDK members in IAIN Curup and the effect of group counseling activities on radicalism and organizational behavior management. To measure radicalism in this study is to use a closed questionnaire, the questionnaire was arranged based on the lattice that has been made based on theory by determining variables, sub variables and indicators of research. The researcher wanted to see the management of organizational behavior through the Group Counseling Disscussions as a radicalism preventive effort at Da’wah organization in IAIN Curup. Moreover, the findings show that, among the Da’wah organization’s members, radicalism it indicates that the behavior of radicalism in the category is quite radical. Group dynamics that occur in group counseling discussions are also good as seen from the enthusiasm and cohesiveness of students in discussions. The radicalism behavior and organizational behavior management before being given group counseling discussion activities are not the same as radicalism behavior and organizational behavior management after group counseling discussions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of ethnic Chinese Muslims in organizing Islamic religious education in the city of Padangsidimpuan. The Muslim Chinese community participated in moving Islamic religious education in the city of Padangsidimpuan The research method uses qualitative. Instrument for collecting data on observation, interview and documentation. The research findings show that the implementation of Islamic religious education developed in several centers of religious learning activities. The dynamics of the implementation of ethnic Muslim Islamic religious education in the city of Padangsidimpuan carried out in a variety of containers and facilities. The organization of religious education is based on groups and individuals.It was concluded that the Muslim Chinese ethnic studied religious learning material on aqeedah, sharia and morals. Learning methods build communication between educators and students. Educators and students come from various scientific backgrounds, Islamic and Indonesian.
